I wanted to gatekeep this place for as long as possible, haha. If you're looking for a place to get a facial, just come. I've been twice now and can't wait to keep coming back. It's no frills - just two small rooms. But extremely clean, friendly staff, and high quality products used. Honestly, these facials are better than many of the ones I've gotten at high end hotels that cost at least 2x more. I do the Deep Cleansing Facial. They give you the full amount of time to the dot. Love the extraction, face and eye mask at the end, and the neck and shoulder massage is amazing. Run. Read all the amazing reviews and wanted to try it out! I had the sensitive skin facial and immediately afterwards had big red spots all over my skin from the extractions. Note that when I arrived I had some minor non-red acne. These ended up being scars that lasted for 8-9 months. I have great skin and have never had this happen before. I also do not struggle with acne and arrived with small bumps but nothing visible. I spoke to my normal derm and it turns out this spot likely used unsanitary tools that infected my face causing wounds. It is implied I did not properly care for my skin in the aftermath and that couldn't be further from the truth. Moreover, the second image posted is before my trip to E Asia which is referenced below. Do not risk it. I get facials monthly... this has never ever happened to me before!!! Great facial from Lisa! This was my first facial since well before covid started and I was really happy to see they take a lot of precautions, even though I'm now vaccinated anyway. They have a questionnaire beforehand, and while you as the client are unmasked, the aestheticians wear masks and face shields. Lisa did a great job on my facial, getting one pesky blackhead out and making recommendations on some things I'm doing wrong (exfoliating too much, too hot of water for washing my face) and how to correct. The collagen facial was relaxing and wonderful and I know doing great work on my skin. She also gives a great massage. I'll happily return. read more

Couldn't recommend this place more. I've suffered from really bad acne throughout my life so I figured it was finally time to see a skincare professional and, I have to say, it was probably one of the best decisions I made as of recently. The atmosphere was really cozy, everything was incredibly clean and well kept. The staff were kind but professional, and helped guide me through something I had never done before. While my skin already felt very clean after the whole thing was done, Sara emphasized the importance of maintaining a proper skincare routine in order to properly clear up my acne. When I first started the skincare routine recommended to me by Sara, I was a bit skeptical as I noticed some persistent dark spots, but she strongly advised that I regularly exfoliate my skin, always apply sunscreen even when at home, and to absolutely avoid picking at my acne no matter what. After a couple months I noticed visible improvement and the dark spots pretty much all but went away. I still follow the skincare routine that she recommended and am almost certainly going to go back when I get the chance! read more

My first review got deleted which is weird. Anyway, as a I said before I highly recommend Sara. To prepare for a friend's wedding another friend who goes to Sara had us all go to her for facials. I said before, the spa I used before closed and I hadn't had a facial since. This was the best recommendation. Sara was able to diagnose my skin and problem areas immediately. Since I went so long without a facial I started getting recurrent acne and my skin was super congested. Sara gave me the most thorough extraction I've ever had. I went in with 2 big nodules deep under the skin on my forehead, that formed bumps but never game to a head. Painful to touch and inflamed. They've been there for ever. Months and months in end. They would change in size and flare up every month. Sara extracted the oil and gunk from them. I concerned with problem areas and developing permanent scarring. So I emailed Sara. She replied very quickly, and reassured me about what my skin needed. She even had me come in to check my skin again & suggested products I could purchase that works best with my skin and samples to speed up the healing process. And she was right. 6 days after my facial face is clear, hydrated, and glowing. Absolutely amazing. Beautiful skin needs TLC, time, and an expert. Sara did an amazing job. I have very sensitive skin with product allergies and also suffer from clogged pores and acne on my back. With summer approaching I wanted to get a back facial. Because of my sensitive skin, this was only the 4th facial / back facial I've had in my life. Other back treatments and facials have left me with redness or even lesions from heavy-handed extractions. Sara was amazing and my back has never looked better! I am so glad to have found this place! I read many of the glowing reviews and decided to try this for myself. The appointment process was very smooth and easy and I was able to request an appointment with Sara on a weekday afternoon. They definitely take covid precautions seriously - upon entering, my temperature was checked and I was asked to wash my hands. I also noticed that only 1 person was allowed in the waiting room to ensure social distancing. I initially booked a deep conditioning facial but upon arrival, Sara looked at the condition of my skin and gave a different recommendation, which I fully appreciated. My face had a lot of active acne and acne scarring and Sara was extremely thorough, patient and careful with the extractions. She made sure to introduce and educate me on each product she was using on my face and explained the reasoning behind each. This was such an amazing experience and a treat for my skin! I just came here today (Saturday) for a deep cleansing facial. This place was highly recommended by my sister who is a big skincare fanatic. My aesthetician was Wendy and she was wonderful!! She made wonders to my skin and gave me one of the most relaxing massages! Besides that she was very friendly and informative, explaining every part of the skin process. She only works Saturdays. I originally booked for a 1 hr deep cleansing facial but my skin was very dry from sunbathing in the beach 2 days ago so with Wendy's expertise I did the aloe facial to increase my skin's hydration. Every part of the process was very enjoyable and relaxing (yes even the extraction part - it didn't hurt that much, felt like a small pinch). My aloe facial entailed: 1) makeup removal and cleansing of face, 2) exfoliation, 3) steaming, 4) extractions, 4) mild high frequency treatment, 5) aloe vera mask, 6) moisturizing, 7) hand, arm, back, shoulder, neck and head massage. For such outstanding quality and experiece, it was worth the price paid. My skin feels absolutely soft and clean! Facility is very clean and minimalistic. Calming music is played in the room and it was very enjoyable. Also, they give full attention to the client and do their best to minimize any distractions (store door is kept locked). Holy skin!!! Yes to every 5 star review. Sara is a gem! I had a 60 minute deep cleansing facial and lord knows I needed it. I've been practically living in a plane these last few months and my acne was out of control. Sara spent most of the time extracting and steaming my face. Now I have no pain tolerance and I barely felt a thing. She used several products and walked me through it (green tea mask was incredible). Not only is she an amazing aesthetician, but she is friendly and knowledgeable. Sara gave me such great tips and advice to help my skin stay hydrated and clean. One week after my facial and my skin looks amazing! Oh and I also suffer from claustrophobia.... to the point where I feel like I am suffocating if I have a face mask on. Yes, you can laugh. I kind of freaked out at one point and was absolutely mortified. Sara was so calm and nice about it, she made it seem like it happens all the time loll. If you pay with cash they take off 5%. 60 min facial cost me $100 (not including tip.) Super reasonable in comparison to many other spas in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Sara is the best in the business! I have been working with her for 3.5 years now (including 2 since I moved to Manhattan), but it's worth the trip every time. She's helped me with rosacea and dull skin. Sara will always recommend what's right for your skin based on where it is when you see her, even if that means performing a cheaper facial than the one you booked. Her products are also top notch and she doesn't try to upsell you on anything that won't work for your skin. If you want to try something before committing she also usually has samples. Trust in Sara and your skin will never look better! Also highly recommend calling if you want to get in and availability online looks tight. Probably because, as she told me, she's been doing this for over 18 years and is even a legacy; her mother was an aesthetician as well. She answered every single question I had about what regimen to do at home. I couldn't even tell you what the steps she did were (and this was the deep cleanse facial, the basic one). There were so many she did a lot. The massage felt great. I think she might've had extra time today and spent even longer with me than the hour it was supposed to be. Sara is amazing! She really talks you through your skin's wants and needs. GM Collin products are always A+++ in my book, and most (if not all) of Sara's products are GM Collin. She recommended a few products for me to use as well, but did not push for me to purchase that day (products are available to be bought at K Skincare!) Her and her husband are very nice and accommodating- I was extremely late thanks to New York train traffic, but they were both very nice about it. Of course, there was only flexibility because there was no other appointments after mine, but either way, the way they handled it was very professional and I did not feel any negativity at all. The space itself is very nice and comfortable- not too big, but big enough for all your spa needs. The location is great in Park Slope! Husband treated us to facials for Valentines Day. We did a quick research and found this gem/spa! We were lucky to get double appointment that same day. This place is easy to get from the R train. We got to the spa and were greeted by Wendy and Sara who right away offered us tea and water. We did not have to wait for our appointments. We filled out some paperwork about our skins and were promptly asked to go to designated rooms where we changed and started to work on. Husband got K Signature Deep Cleansing 60 minute facial and I went with, as per Wendy's recommendation, Rosacea Sensitive Skin 60 mins facial. Even though I do not have rosacea Wendy suggested that extra hydration mask will do wonders for my face. Anyway, the entire experience was super pleasant. We left relaxed and my husband got new nose- all blackheads are gone and he looks years younger! I left with a healthy glow! I also got some GM Collins cosmetics (which they use for facials) to keep my skin in a great shape. We are planning to make this our routine and come back every so often. I came for a skin consult and was really glad I came here. For awhile now I wanted to know how to make my skin look better and decided to go to a skincare expert.
