I just noticed most skincare spas use black bar type device that the client lies under. I guess that replaces the steam machine. I was wary of breaking out but I did not at all. I got a hydrafacial and dermaplaning with Veronica and my skin looks the best it has in awhile. I never knew what dermaplaning was until recently and I can't believe what I've been missing! I have an annoying amount of peach fuzz on my face and also have dry skin, so a layer of dead and dry skin has built up over the years and no other facial has really alleviated this. Their menu is super simple and straightforward and I will be coming back for the same exact services I got today more regularly to keep my skin in check. I was told maybe doing both a hydrafacial and dermaplaning would be too intense for my sensitive skin, but it ended up being fine. We kinda played it by ear throughout the service and the aesthetician ended up thinking it would be ok to move forward with the hydrafacial after dermaplaning... it was perfect! The extractions were also very effective, but did not leave me too red. The jelly masque finish really sealed the deal ... literally. My face is softer than a baby's bottom. Note that there were no robes or blankets to wrap you up like a little burrito like a lot of spa-like facial places ... this doesn't bother me at all, but I was a little cold. I will either wear long sleeves next time or bring a blanket maybe! Overall not a big deal, the service far exceeded my expectations. read more

Chateau Glow has a great approach to facials-- they're modern (check in with an iPad, and you can even pick your preferred level of conversation); interior is super cute; pricing is fair; and Gina is super sweet (she even gave me a fresh mask when I left). Extractions were included with my facial and Gina gave me some of the easiest and quickest extractions I've ever had, barely any redness or marking! I have very mixed feelings about writing this review. Gina had been taking care of my skin for quite some time, she was someone I trusted. Unfortunately during COVID, I realized that Gina had been pushing back my hairline slightly while she was dermaplanning my face (I received this service about 4 or 5 times throughout the last 8 or so months). After not being able to get services done, the short hairs around my face started to become more and more noticeable as the weeks went on and they began to grow back in. I reached out to her to show her photos of the super obvious spot near my part that is beginning to grow back. She responded that she didn't recall shaving any of the head on my hair off, and brushed it off like it was nothing. I have been trying to grow my hair out for a while now. Every time I look in the mirror I notice the cowlick in the front of my face... I have to use products now throughout the day to hide the short hairs and have been trying to make them 'blend in' with my longer hairs. I know it will grow back eventually, but it will take some time. If I would have known she was going to shave all of my baby hairs off and then some, I would have never agreed to having her shave my face. She really should be more careful. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for SO long and am so glad I did!! The facial was amazing! The studio space has just two treatment rooms and is clean, modern and welcoming. Inside the treatment room is all the latest facial technology and the facial bed is unbelievable comfortable- it's a memory foam treatment table. My esthetician used Hydrafacial to cleanse, exfoliate and extract and the microcurrent device for lifting and firming. Microcurrent feels so weird at first, but let me tell you, WOW it works! She treated my face one half at a time and I could really feel the difference! Next was a Calendula and Jasmine jelly mask, and while that set, a relaxing hand massage.
