I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience as I was deeply underwhelmed by my recent lash lift + tint at Lucia Lash. Over the past decade, I've had lash extensions and lifts regularly at various places in New York, Japan, and Korea, so I know what to expect. I went to Lucia Lash based on glowing reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to the positive feedback. Maybe my standards are just high, but for the price and location, I expect pretty much a certain level of expertise. My lashes turned out crimped, uneven, and "squiggly", which is a first for me. I've never had a result like this in over 7 years of regular lash lifts. I use a lash conditioner daily, but my lashes have been falling out since the service, showing how much weaker they've become. Mascara and a lash curler are even difficult to use because the lashes are at different levels. The photos I've attached show my lashes the night of the service and 10 days later. Immediately after the service, the lift was okay, but after just one cleanse, the results were far from what I expected. When I reached out to the salon, they told me my lashes were "already lifted" and explained that "sometimes the perm doesn't show the same results due to lash condition." Given my experience with lash lifts, I know that's not the issue, and the lack of professional aftercare only added to my frustration. I'm disappointed with the service and the lack of a proper resolution. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave such a review, but I wanted to be honest about my experience. In response - People with darker/melanated skin do not turn red. @Owner are you saying that because my daughter's skin was not red that she was not burned? What other sign of chemical reactions do you look for? Is burning not one of them? My daughter will not be returning to this establishment. The "free fix" you all offered will not be used. The appointment that Amal re-scheduled for my daughter should have never been made and therefore should be cancelled. read more

Only leaving a review because I have tried every other way to contact the business to fix an issue and have been unsuccessful (contact form on website doesn't work, email doesn't work and they do not answer the phone). I actually really love them and the people are wonderful. I ahd a really great first experience there and my lashes were wonderful. I recently had another lash service and it did not turn out great at all despite me following all the correct follow-up instructions. My right lashes look pretty lifted (although not as much as my first service) but my left lashes are barely lifted at all besides a few lashes in the corner. Not a complaint against the staff but it is unfortunate that there is no way to actually contact the business to try to get some resolution in terms of repeat service etc read more

Booked an appointment for lash extensions with Tomoe weeks prior to my date. Was sent a reminder text about my upcoming appointment one day prior, but was with a different lash tech that I did not know. Had to call the salon and ask what was going on as these extensions were going to be for my wedding day and I wanted to get them done from someone I trust. Was told that Tomoe would be out the day of my scheduled appointment, and that they assigned me a new tech that had just joined instead. I was very excited to hear that Lucia Lash opens a new salon in Brooklyn, especially my neighborhood, Park Slope! My eyebrows are sparse and thinning due to too much tweezing. I had a facial done by Shiho and I loved it! When I came in, I had concerns with current breakouts and some hyperpigmentation. I left with my skin feeling so clean, my pores look smaller and most importantly I left with a glow. Shiho was very informative with the products she used and explained what she was using and why.
