Avoid at all costs. No hygiene precautions are taken, everything is super rushed and disorganized. They take your photo for in some attempt to convince customers that they are trying to offer consistent service but every single time I have gotten my brows done there the procedure has been different. I did lashes and brows with Farha and the last time I did it she was going between me and another customer who came EARLY but instead of having the customer wait for her time she was bouncing back and forth between us and not washing her hands. The technicians don't wear PPE which is insane since they are breathing on you and touching your face the whole time. I complained to management and in attempts to placate me they gave me a gift card that expired in a month. Please avoid this place unless you want pinkeye! read more

I booked a brow wax but unfortunately I left before getting the service done. They refused to wax my eyebrows unless I let them take a photo of my face to save in their "internal database". I asked a few times how the photo would be used and they just kept repeating it's "an internal protocol". Overall just a scammy vibe. I've had poor experiences with threading in the past (painful, bleeding, redness) and I didn't experience that with her. She was thorough and gentle. My appointment always starts on time, they listen to my concerns (I have thin brows) and thread/tint to make them look alot fuller. It's a very clean and relaxing studio space -sometimes really warm. This place is really the BEST when it comes to eyebrow threading. My expectations are always exceeded. It's my ritual to have my brows cleaned up every 2-3 weeks. The results are always the same regardless of the location. The young lady that threaded me today did an amazing and excellent job. My brows were so defined, shaped well, and precise. The Front Desk Receptionist is always friendly, pleasant, and understanding. I like coming to the Brooklyn location on my lunch break. I had a terrible experience at Wink Brow Bar. Went in for a Lash Lift and after 2.5 hours I left with my lashes looking exactly the same and had spent almost $200. The customer service is a disgrace. The owner refused a refund, only offering to redo the service if I came back within a week. Though I lost confidence in this business, my main concern with repeating the treatment was any potential damage that could occur from using these chemicals on my lashes again so soon. I reached out to other lash places to see if they felt repeating this would be safe, everyone said i would need to wait another 6-8 weeks to safely try again. This place has a growing negative reputation but know there are several other places in the hood which are great. Benefit rocks for your brows and Lash Me is new on Smith which I've only heard stellar things about. They are having some good specials right now too. I'll continue to try to get my refund and hopefully if someone is trying to decide if they should go to this place, this saves you from wasting time and money. read more

I finally started to grow them out, why not since we're all WFH. Rita has done a phenomenal job the first time in cleaning it up and then she shaped them the second time and they look great. Decided to try Wink which is just minutes from my house in Cobble Hill. Huge disappointment. Technician didn't listen to me. Asked for natural look. "Like I'm wearing mascara" "Nothing glamorous... I'm a nurse. Don't want to look silly". Complete disregard of my request. Total glamour cat eye. I was so stunned and was like this is way over the top and the woman said thank you! Not sure she even spoke English she just kind of nodded. Lashes started falling out day 2. I'm an experienced lash extension person so I knew exactly how to take care of them. They did not offer any after care instructions or a wand to brush them out with. Receptionist was outside on her phone the entire time and I'm not sure how she accomplished anything with her long scary dragon nails. She could not have been more disinterested in her job, the salon and most of all the customers. One women who was before me just left without paying and told me that they have her card on file so if the want me to pay they will have to figure it out! The only positive was the chaise to lay on during application. Very comfortable. Save time and money and hit up another salon. This one was an epic fail. I recommend "Secret" eyelash midtown Manhattan. Less than half the price and with proper care lashes can last 3-4 weeks. One star for the location, comfort and potential but the service truly was a zero. read more

There was a huge dead cockroach in the bathroom. I was the first customer of the morning so it seemed like, someone had killed it and not bothered to clean it up? When I mentioned it to them, they just kind of shrugged. My eyelash tint was fine but the vibe was uncomfortable. One person was working on me while the other one just sat and the two of them relentlessly tried to sell me on more services. I should get my brows done and waxing and extensions! It was the opposite of relaxing. I warned a friend but she went here anyway to get extensions and ended up having to go elsewhere to get them removed because it was a disaster. PS Those photos are fake? The first four or so? You can tell they are computer renderings.
