I found Rubina by doing a Yelp search. I'm not one to regularly do my eyebrows and all that what not because it's really hard to find someone who knows their stuff. Rubina does. Besides eyebrows she offers many services which include, eyebrow tinting, black head removal and henna. I can't remember the last time I paid $6 to have my eyebrows threaded or waxed, but Rubina is great and her prices are greater. Nestled in the back of a nail and hair salon you'll fine sweet Rubina. She explains everything and offers you many of her services. If you say no she's not pushy which I like. I have sensitive skin but I could barely feel it when she was threading my brows and the shape came out absolutely perfect. Hell to the no I will not return here nor will I will recommend this place to anyone! The entire time she was threading my eyebrows she gave me a list of services of what she does when she does it and am I interested in getting a facial and henna tattoo...no lady!!!!!! I just want my eyebrows threaded. Then she insists on threading my lip and chin which I declined oh about 3 times. Here's the clincher after she finished threading my eyebrows(which was more painful than my other threading experiences) she takes tweezers and starts plucking...she plucks my skin oh a few times(which i jumped a few times) then she takes a tissue dips it in alcohol and puts it on my eyebrow at which point i yelped and jumped up outta the chair. Then she tells me oh I usually charge 6 but I will charge you 5...I ran outta there and when I got home and saw my eyebrows my god it look like they were in the fight...notice the blood spots and the puffiness.....NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

At first i was happy. Should have stuck with the threading. It was raining and I was tired. Let her NAG me into more services. I wanted eye lashes dyed instead I got fake. Thought I was ok until my eyes were watering and itching one hour later. Eye brow tint looked like a magic marker was used. Now my skin is slightly burned in the area. She did not shut up about buying more services, telling my friends. Tried to demand my phone number. Takes only cash (its in small print) Bad breath, nagging, low quality. Cash only. No refunds. Why go back? Stick with the threading and tell her to shut the FU and use a mouthwash. read more

I've been going to Rubina for a few months now and I love the way she threads my eyebrows. I had never gotten my eyebrows threaded before until I started coming to her and figured I'd give it a shot. She's never disappointed me! My roommate (who hardly had any eyebrows) went together for our first threading experiences, and 4 months later her eyebrows have EVOLVED! They are nice and full with a natural shape to them. She no longer has to fill them in as she was doing before. Mine have always been thick but she leaves them with a very nice finish. I read some of the negative reviews and I will agree with the part about her constantly offering her other services to you during the service you are already receiving. That's just her lol. She's new in the salon and is trying to get the word out about the services she provides and her new location. She's an older lady, so not very tech savvy.
