I thought going in that full face was going to cost me $30 but didn't realize until the end when she said it was $35. I just requested a full face and nothing else. Anyways, when I first got in, they seated me really quick because the time I went in had no one. I guess because I got there really late, almost when they needed to close. They have a guest bathroom for their customers all the way in the back and it's super clean. I had to wash my face after the threading because my face became so red and bumpy from the threading. They were very nice about it and told me to splash my face with cold water and applied aloe Vera gel to cool my face. Overall a pretty good job at cleaning and trimming my eyebrows. The thread did break off a couple of times and she used a new one. They cleaned out most of my face and blackheads up but there was still some blackheads or hair on my temples. I had to puff my cheeks and hold onto my eyelids close for them to get in the hard areas. I just have a lot of blackheads so it's pretty tough to get rid of them. The service was quick and I was out like that. They are very nice people and it was a quiet service where there's no talking so that's good. read more

My go-to plays for eyebrow threading. She's super efficient and fast. My husband and I get our eyebrows threaded here and from the time we sit in the chair to when we leave is 10-15 mins for the both of us. We like her style - no frills, no small talk, good work and natural look. What more could you ask for? $10 for eyebrow threading, saw other patrons there for waxing which she seems to do a lot. There may be a wait because there's only one person and she has to do everything from set up, paying and doing the actual work so be patient with her. You can always call ahead to see if there's a wait beforehand to time your visit appropriately. read more

I asked for just wax eyebrows , just wax no thread.They waxed THAN threaded my brows after bcus supposedly there was still hair. I bit my tounge on the results and just left dissatisfied. My eyebrows look so thin !!!! even my family & Friends noticed as i have really thick bows. Too much was taken off, i won't be going back for eyebrows. :( read more

They provided excellent customer service the couple of times I've been for eyebrow threading. They are friendly and courteous and also clean throughout the entire salon. Additionally they do a really good job throughout the threading process. Plus they are laid back and very chill. Love the vibe in this place and glad to have found them. I needed my caterpillars taken care of and used my trusted other Yelpers to find a place in the financial district. Upon entering, I was immediately welcomed and seated in a chair. I usually have my eyebrows done in a particular way and decided on a whim to have them done differently. This resulted in a totally different look for my brows. I'm happy with the way they came out and since I'm attempting to let them fill back in, this look is perfect. Side note: there's a $2 discount if you sign in and use social media. read more

Good for brows and waxing. The only take away is they use Johnson & Johnson baby powder which causes cervical cancer. I've mentioned this to the staff numerous times. Not sure why their still using this product on clients. It's not safe and actually a big deal. Which is why I gave them 3 stars. If it wasn't for the baby powder I'd rate higher. read more

I don't understand these bad reviews. The service is super fast (in and out in less than 8 minutes!) and ridiculously affordable. Honestly the reviews put me off for a long time but I decided to give this place a try anyways and am kicking myself for not coming earlier. Seriously, don't listen to the other negative reviews. I usually go to Jackson Heights to do my eyebrows because they say you shouldn't change who does your eyebrows. Since I was letting my eyebrows grow I had to find a place near my job because I had no time to go to Jackson Heights. This place is super clean and the ladies super nice. Keep in mind since it's located in the city they charge more. Eyebrows cost $8. I wish I remembered the person name but she did a great job. She shaped my eyebrows according to my face and gave me advice on how to grow my eyebrows hint: Castor oil. I would definitely come back here! read more

I like this place . Usually the ladies are nice. Today "Dimpy" took care of me . She needs customer service skills . She's like a robot - asks what you want, does it, takes your money, and not even a goodbye. A day after Christmas. It is not busy and, therefore , no need for her to be so abrupt. Never go salon in 70 Fulton. I used to visit here for eyebrows and upper lip. I have personally heard these ppl commenting about tips after customers left. I guess tip is some thing customers give what they feel like giving. I felt commenting is really bad or making faces when customers are paying bill. I personally had experience with Dimpy ( not sure abt exact name ) who made faces when I said tip 2$ for eye brows and upper lip which she spend less than 8 mins. read more

Ive gone here about a half dozen times for brow thread and lip wax. The ladies here are very kind and efficient. The prices are super reasonable and they have a card program so if you go for (I think) 9 threadings your 10th is free. They always do a great job on my brows and shape exactly how I asked, and do a great little trim. I've always been pleased here. read more
