The shop is clean and tidy. It had been several years since I last got my eyebrows threaded, so I was expecting some pain. However, I was shocked at how smooth and painless Alicia's work was! I walked in and saw Alisha, not only is she super pleasant but she saved my brows after my last place messed up my arch. For my second visit I made an appointment with Twinkal for lash extensions. She was able to help me decipher which size and style I wanted and delivered beautifully and fast. They look so natural. Best place to get your eyebrows threaded close to the East village. I've tried a couple places around nyc but this is always the best.

Store front is cute and the place is definitely clean. However, I wouldn't come back. My eyebrows weren't fully cleaned up and my upper lips had red bumps on it after the lip wax. Its a little disappointing to see all the good reviews, pay $12 for threading and $7 for a lip waxing only to have to clean it up yourself again at home. Alisha only threaded my brows and didn't bother to even cut or pluck after.. anyways, my pictures tell it all. It has only been 3 days since my eyebrow threading, I don't think hair grows that fast. read more

My eyebrows were super thin when I first came to Namaste and now almost 3 months later, they are growing in nicely and look much fuller! Usually I just walk in and there is little to no wait time but appointments are also available. Staff are very kind and provide great service--I highly recommend Alisha, she is gentle and makes sure you're satisfied with the results. I came in for eyebrow waxing/threading, lady was super polite but after I left and got home I saw I had wax residue in the inner corners of my eyebrow and she didn't properly remove all of my eyebrow hair even though she went in with the thread after she waxed them. I think $13 for that is overpriced, I usually pay $8-$11 for much better clean up. read more
