I had the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE here. DO NOT GO HERE for lash treatments! I got a lash lift two weeks ago, before my vacation, and noticed after a few days that some of the lashes on my right eye were over-processed and over-curled. As the days went on, the lashes continued to curl, to the point that my lashes were scratching my eye lids, making them itchy and very uncomfortable. Then it started to happen to my left eye too. I messaged the manager and she gave me a couple of methods to try to make my lashes itch less, but none of them worked, and my lashes continued to curl more, and some started to break off. She offered to give me an adjustment when I got back, and we agreed on a time. During the adjustment, I clarified that my lashes would still be curled after she relaxed the over curl, and she said yes. She told me that the reason why my lashes were over curled was because the lash tech had left the serum on my eyes for too long, leading to them becoming over processed. When I saw my finished look, my lashes were no longer curled and uneven on both eyes. I asked her why they weren't curled and she told me that my lashes were too damaged and thin to do another lift, and that I should come back in 2-4 weeks. She offered to do it for a discount, and at that point I confronted her. I told her that I paid $100 plus tip for a lash lift and tint (which they said would last for 8-10 weeks), only for the treatment to make my eyelashes damaged, last less than two weeks, and she did not deliver what she said she would for the adjustment. And to top it off, as I was saying this, she was trying to rudely rush me out because she had another client, and interrupting me as I spoke. We had agreed to an appointment for 6 pm, so it is not my fault if you overbook yourself. Then, she proceeded to double back and say that after her next client she could give me a lash lift today, after she had just told me that my lashes were too damaged to do anything before 2-4 weeks. I decided to just leave, and I asked her if I could curl my lashes or use mascara, and she said that my lashes are now too damaged to touch for at least a week or two. I am so disappointed by the treatment that I received at Nice Brow. Besides not receiving the lash lift that I paid for, I am also left with thin and damaged eyelashes, and they wanted me to come back and pay again to redo the service. This is completely unacceptable. DO NOT TRUST NICE BROW WITH YOUR EYELASHES. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

It's now been over two months and my brows still haven't recovered -- they're brittle, wiry, and curling in unnatural directions. I reached out multiple times for help and to get information on the technician's license and the product they used, but they ignored me and eventually blocked me. Nice Brow is the best. My eye brows have never looked better. They are beautifully shaped and expertly tweezed. They also do thorough, but gentle, waxing. They are the only people I use for my brows and lip. There are a lot of places you can go to in the East Village for waxing services. Believe me, I have tried them all. None are as good as Nice Brow. And the best part is that they do tweezing. Many other shops don't, and they push threading on you instead, which is very painful and irritating to my skin. Go to Nice Brow! Awful experience! Avoid at all cost! I left the salon with crazy looking brows on 10/5/19. I couldn't leave my apartment until I got an appointment with another, more reputable brow place to fix the botched job the following day. Even after the pricey correction treatment, my brows were too dark and it took months before they returned to the original very light brown color. Treatments received at NiceBrow: - Brow shaping treatment - They barely removed any hair, but they literally removed bits of my skin during the waxing process leaving the area red and sensitive / irritated for days. Why they used waxing instead of tweezers is beyond me. - Brow tinting - They talked me into getting a brow tint, and then used the WRONG TINT, leaving me with almost black eyebrows (FYI I'm a blonde with pale skin). The salon didn't charge me for tinting because they know they messed up. - At the time I didn't want to question their methods being the first timer at the brow salon... you would think the professionals know what's best. Go figure! Additional point of frustration: I originally found out about NiceBrow through Classpass while searching for Fitness classes. Because I've had such an awful experience there, now I literally cringe every time I use Classpass... They are classifying their service under Fitness instead of just Wellness, where they belong. I complained about it with Classpass multiple times. It's been very annoying and frustrating. Update on 2/14/20 - message to the NiceBrow manager: Attaching the image of the receipt as the proof of visit. Per our Facebook chat on 2/4/20, if you really want to make me feel better, please remove your listing from Classpass, so I don't have to be reminded of this awful experience every day! Really enjoyed my facial session here! Booked a session through Classpass, the hydration facial. Linda very gentle on the skin and did a great job with the exfoliation. First started off with washing my face, then applying serums and a 10ish minute face massage which felt sooo relaxing. After was the exfoliation, painful but necessary. Last was a face mask, left it on there for 10 minutes? My skin was so smooth and glowing afterwards, would def go back!
