I've never written a Yelp review before but I love Carol and want to help spread the word about how wonderful she is! I've been going to Carol for over 15 years and after every single visit, I get complements about how my skin just glows! In fact, multiple friends have gone to her after simply seeing my skin and all have been just as happy with their results. As a result, I really do trust Carol implicitly with my skin. She has alerted me to issues (birth control, for example, was causing melasma and thanks to her intervention I was able to reverse it) and she is incredibly thorough, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with her facials. I have been here a few times to do the 45 minute "Triple R Revitalization Facial" with Angela. They have always been prompt and done a great job. The facial mostly focuses on facial and shoulder massage along with applying a cleanser, a scrub, a rubber mask and a lotion to follow up. I would consider this as an express facial as it does leave your skin glowing and soft but they do not do extractions for this type of facial. read more

The facial was thorough and very relaxing. I had a few extractions and Angela was very gentle. I typically have extraction marks for a week, but Angela's extractions only left the marks for a day. I just went for my 2nd visit at SkinSpoke. Carol, the owner, is soft-spoken and modest, but she has some very well-known clients (top beauty/fashion magazine editors, celebrity fashion designers and actors,...) who have been coming to her for up to 20 years (I saw their posts on Instagram). On my first visit, she analyzed my skin and said it was very dry. No one told me that, and I thought my clogged pores were from oily skin, so I was afraid to use too much moisturizer on my face. Taking her advice, I have been moisturizing daily. On my 2nd visit, she noticed big improvement, and adjusted my treatment plan to rejuvenate my skin (vs. intense hydration on my first visit). At SkinSpoke, facials are performed with medical-grade equipment used at dermatologist offices. SkinSpoke has a menu of facial treatments. Carol identified my skin issue, then chose specific treatments that my skin required on my 1st visit, vs. my 2nd. ** SkinSpoke also sells their own line of skincare products --- I like their OxiProof COQ10 Essence and Profusion Hyaluronic Serum. Facials at SkinSpoke are not like facials I have had at other beauty spas. My treatments were about 2 hours each time.
