Had an amazing relaxing time! Carol spent time customizing the facial and understanding what was needed. You cannot go wrong here!

I was visiting NYC from Los Angeles and was told to get a facial from SkinSpoke. I met Carol, who is amazing and so well informed--also gorgeous--and she recommended the HILU for my skin. The results were incredible and I already booked my trip back to NYC in Oct to receive my next treatment. I'm 53 years old, and my skin looked stunning afterwards. Highly recommend! read more

I went to see Carol for the first time the other week and it was such an amazing experience! She talked me through everything she was doing and made specific suggestions and customizations based on my skin. It was such a relaxing facial but I could tell it was effective. I can't wait for my next appointment! Which is already booked. read more

I have been trying to find a good facial in NYC for 3 years and have spent thousands of dollars trying to do so. From med spas, to derms, to spa chains, to smaller spas, I have never been able to find something / someone to pay attention to my skin and its needs - something beyond transactional. I am so happy I found that at SkinSpoke! I actually booked one service, and after review of my skin, a different service (price reviewed) was recommended and discussed. I was so happy with the transparency and attention to detail. The results were literally amazing - I had not seen my skin so clean, glowing, and hydrated in years. They also recommended a routine for me to continue my skincare journey. I already have my next appointment booked and am so grateful to find them! 10/10 service, cleanliness, calm /peaceful vibe, and amazing results!!! read more

I have been a client of Mary's for well over a decade at Ling, when she left recently I was devastated. In her absence I tried a number of other facialists but no one was as good. When I found Mary at Skin Spoke I was elated. She is truly the BEST. She has a magic, caring and experienced touch. Every facial is deeply relaxing with a face and shoulder massage. She is the queen of extractions. I always leave with a glowing complexion, super clean and moisturized skin. The facility is clean and welcoming. The services and people are next level. read more

Had an amazing salt facial here before and after comparing other facials in the city might have to say it's my favorite ! Will be booking again soon read more

I've been visiting SkinSpoke for a few months now and it has really transformed my skin!! I used to have really bad acne and I was recommended to come here through a friend and they did not disappoint at all. I usually get the organic salt detoxification with angela and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. The first time I came here, we talked about my skin problems and she recommended the salt facial. I definitely recommend to ask for her. I wanted to write a review today about the hydra peel facial. It was honestly so soothing. My face is definitely so soft and bright now. I feel like I've been wearing so much makeup and it's been clogging my pores, but this facial definitely took everything out. read more

My child and I have both had the SkinSpoke Signature SaltFacial with Angela and I can't begin to explain how wonderful the experience was. We both have extremely sensitive skin so I was nervous, but we were talked through each step of the process. We left GLOWING. Wonderful for both acne-prone teen skin as well as aging skin. We will keep coming back. Worth every penny. read more

So glad I found this place! Just moved to the city from California. Haven't had a facial since February! Was in dire need and I researched so many places as I really want to make sure I get a great experience. This was one of the best facials I've ever had. Very clean. Angela was my facialist. She was very kind and knowledgeable. It was such a relaxing experience. I had the Make Me Glow facial. My feel really felt so clean, soft and glowy afterwards. She went IN on the extractions and took her time. That's what I needed! Would totally come back and highly recommend. read more

I have been going to this hidden gem of facial treatments in New York at a quaint salon owned by Carol for a year! The microdermabrasion session leave my skin feeling rejuvenated and glowing. Overall, my ski has improved significantly in the last year! She is like magic! Carol's expertise in eyebrow shaping and waxing is great too, making it my go-to spot for all things skincare. It's been more than a year since I've gotten a facial, so my skin really needed some tough love. My skin felt super congested! But when I walked out of SkinSpoke after my Salt Detoxification? I felt like a new woman. Angela did such a wonderful and thorough job. She gave my skin the tough love it needed. She also gave me some advice on a new skincare regimen. The staff at SkinSpoke are incredible and professional. I felt comfortable and relaxed thanks to the atmosphere they created. I'm glad I found this place because I certainly plan on coming back here. It's pricey for sure, but I think it's worth it to have my skin taken care of so thoroughly. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks for a relaxing day to myself. Highly HIGHLY recommend SkinSpoke! read more

SkinSpoke - My new toner and blemish ointment - Skin Care Near Me - New York, New York

As a fashion model in New York City, I am always hesitant with facials and letting anyone touch my skin. I have been visiting SkinSpoke and am so happy with the results and their services, and do not trust anyone else for a facial. Angela went above and beyond - she gave me tips on how to care for my skin and I have incorporated their products into my skincare routine as well. I see such a huge transformation in the overall health of my skin and recommend it to all my friends! If you are looking for someone who knows what they are doing, look no further!! Got the triple R facial and it was super nice and relaxing! They were very nice and I plan on coming back for the salt facial.

I've never written a Yelp review before but I love Carol and want to help spread the word about how wonderful she is! I've been going to Carol for over 15 years and after every single visit, I get complements about how my skin just glows! In fact, multiple friends have gone to her after simply seeing my skin and all have been just as happy with their results. As a result, I really do trust Carol implicitly with my skin. She has alerted me to issues (birth control, for example, was causing melasma and thanks to her intervention I was able to reverse it) and she is incredibly thorough, which is one of the reasons I fell in love with her facials. Her extractions are amazing and her face massage is just heavenly. I honestly think she has magical fingers! Besides her technique and deep knowledge about skin care, she is a really good and caring person who has a naturally warm and fun-loving personality. She is always fun to talk to and our visits remind me of seeing an old friend. I also appreciate that she's always honest and I know that whatever she tells me my skin needs is on target. Never will she try to sell me on a treatment or product that I don't need as she genuinely cares about her clients and their skin. Also, I should note that have a very hectic schedule and she is always very accommodating and understanding. Again, I think the world of Carol and give her two giant thumb's up! She really is the best! read more

Run don't walk to this calm and peaceful and cozy Greenwich Village spa. I have been going to Carol for a few years for eyebrow, lip and chin waxing and in the last couple of years have added a regular facial to my treatment. The atmosphere is professional and relaxing and the treatments produce terrific results. A regular make-me-glow facial keeps my skin bright and my confidence up! Their products, which are offered but not pushed in any way, are also wonderful. read more

This is one of my all-time favorite spas. I've had several facials from Angela and have always been impressed with how knowledgeable she is about my somewhat dry but also acne-prone skin and dedicated to finding just the right services and products for my skin. After hearing a rave review of SkinSpoke from a friend, I decided to try the 24K Ultra Therapy facial. This facial was an amazing experience that made my skin look firm, toned and beautiful! The quality of the service is the highest among the luxurious beauty service niche. The unique and personalized approach of Carol Chan towards her clients makes you feel like a queen during and after the treatment. The place is also adorable, set in a quaint Greenwich Village townhouse. This was the best and most thorough facial I've ever had. I'll definitely be back! read more

I don't know why it took me so long to get a facial at SkinSpoke because it was awesome! Angela did an amazing job. From start to finish it was a great experience. She was very kind, and knowledgeable. I had the Organic Salt Detoxification Facial and left with glowing skin and feeling refreshed. Can't wait for my next appointment! read more

I have been here a few times to do the 45 minute "Triple R Revitalization Facial" with Angela. They have always been prompt and done a great job. The facial mostly focuses on facial and shoulder massage along with applying a cleanser, a scrub, a rubber mask and a lotion to follow up. I would consider this as an express facial as it does leave your skin glowing and soft but they do not do extractions for this type of facial. read more

This is a great place for a relaxing and luxurious facial!! The interior is very beautiful and clean, and they have oil diffusers set up so the place smells very nice as well! Simply the best! I have been going to Carol for several years and my skin has never looked better! I started going to Carol at a time when I was particularly stressed, and was noticing lots of new wrinkles and fine lines that aged me. Now, I look younger and always feel so good when I leave. My friends have all noticed how young and healthy my skin looks! Highly recommend!!! read more

So I first discovered Carol through my cousin. My cousin somehow always knows the "next best thing" before everybody else finds out. So she started getting facials before her wedding and I was amazed at how her skin was just glowing! I've know her for years and her skin never looked like that. Then she told me about Carol. Prior to seeing Carol my skin used to always break out every month, and it would leave dark marks on my face. She was able to tell me exactly why I was breaking out and recommended the right treatments and the right products. After following all her advice, my breakouts only occurred every 6 months, at which point I'd go back for a cleanup and advice on my regimen. That was in my early 30s, and now it's been 8 years strong. read more

A friend recommended SkinSpoke to me about a year ago, & **WOW** ~ am I grateful. I can actually see my skin improve each time I visit! I've tried several of the different facials offered & I've only had great experiences. After my first visit with Angela I was so blown away that I insisted my husband pay her a visit ~ and he loved it too! It's rare to find these kind of special places in NYC these days ~ true professionals, great service, and a lovely, calm environment. I can't recommend SkinSpoke highly enough! read more

I left here glowing and refreshed. Good service and very knowledgeable stuff. I will come back again soon.

The facial was thorough and very relaxing. I had a few extractions and Angela was very gentle. I typically have extraction marks for a week, but Angela's extractions only left the marks for a day. She also noticed my skin was dehydrated and recommended the Skinceutials retexturing activator, which has done wonders on my skin. I'll definitely be coming back and taking more of Angela's expert recommendations. read more
