It's been a really long time I went for eyelash extensions only because I had a pretty bad experience the first go. I decided to give it another try, but I wanted a reputable, reliable place. I came across Masterpiece on Yelp, and the reviews were all pretty positive. I've been to Masterpiece twice so far, and it's been only a wonderful experience. My lashes haven't looked this good. The main reason I also wanted to try Masterpiece is because they offer Japanese sable, which is lighter and looks a bit more natural. I've been seeing Maya for my lashes, and she's fantastic. The first time was for the Japanese sable, 80 lashes per eye. The second visit was for a refill, but I upgraded to 90 lashes for more volume. They also offer mink lashes. They show you a variety of curls and lengths before application. So far, I'm loving the results. After about 3-4 weeks, the lashes start to naturally fall out. I haven't had any allergic or adverse reactions to my lashes. I really love how light my lashes feel; it's like I don't even have extensions on. There is some maintenance and care involved, but it's pretty low key. I originally just wanted to try the lashes, but now I'm legitimately hooked. I will keep going back to Masterpiece, and I highly recommend Maya. This is a definite recommend if you're considering lash extensions. read more

I felt all my options were explained to me and they helped make suggestions based on my style. The studio was homey and serene. The service itself was about 70 minutes, and was simple. I got the plump lash lift about two and a half weeks ago and I'm mostly satisfied. I mainly got it so that I could forgo mascara during a 2 week vacation while still looking relatively awake and fresh faced. I have very straight Asian lashes that kinda grow downward, so curled lashes definitely make a difference on my face. That goal was achieved. The process was relaxing, Yuri was so sweet, and my lashes came out perfectly curled and not overprocessed. Now 2.5 weeks later my outer lashes are starting to straighten. The middle lashes are still nicely curled but it's slightly disappointing to shell out $$ for the treatment only to see it start to lose effectiveness so soon. Maybe my outer lashes just grow super fast, I dunno. At any rate, if I were to get another lash lift, I'd do it here. Other lash salons may offer the same, but Masterpiece really listens to your needs and they won't fry your lashes. read more

I was super excited to attend this lash place because it had so many good reviews. For first time customers they give $10 off on your visit if you write a Yelp review, and another $10 off your next visit. After getting my lashes done, I quickly realized why it had so many great reviews- a lot of these 5 star reviews were for the purpose of getting they discount. I will say, the lash techs are so kind and the vibe is so calm and peaceful (hence the 4 stars). I'm only taking one star away because the lashes fell off so quickly. After 2 weeks, 85% of the lashes had fallen off. They also do really natural lashes so if you like your lashes to be more dramatic, this is probably not the place. read more

I love, love, love, this place. Love it. I have been getting lashes for a looooong time. I have had major disasters (lashes way to heavy that ripped out my natural lashes. I have felt like I was not listened too. I have thin, sparse, lashes and so I know it's just difficult to work with what I have and Lashes by Chito are the ONLY place where I have never left disappointed. I've been wanting to get my lashes and brows done for quite some time but was hesitant as I wanted to find the right spot. I finally made the move and had my first brow lamination, lash lift and tint done yesterday by Chitos. I'm so glad I did because I couldn't have asked for a better experience! When I came in, I didn't have to wait at all. I was immediately greeted by Chitos who led me into one of the treatment rooms. The atmosphere was personal and super relaxing. The space was spotless and beautifully set up! Before we got started, Chitos took her time to explain each procedure to me, clarified my history of lash and brow treatments, and asked for my desired results. We started off with the lash lift and tint, and proceeded with the brow lamination. I was a little worried that the products might burn or irritate my skin but that was not the case at all! The treatment was actually very pleasant, so much so that I was at the verge of falling asleep in between. Chitos was SO gentle and caring!
