I wanted to love this place because it is within walking distance to where I live and commuting to the city for lashes at my previous place is just not ideal. Let me start by saying the atmosphere is very nice, and the receptionist was very welcoming and kind too. However, my lash tech didn't do such a great job. My lashes were going in different directions and the ones at the outside of my eyes were sticking to my bottom lashes when I blinked. My left eye was a little uncomfortable due to the positioning of the lashes but I figured they would fall into place as they're more worn in. But what really has me here is the fact that I woke up today ( only 2 days later) with a huge bump on my bottom lash line that hurts. I have never had any type of eye infection/ stye/ whatever during my years of lash extensions. So this obviously has me really worried and freaked out. A few things happened during my appointment that made me question the sanitation of my lash service. I'm wondering if this is why I have this bump under my eye? I've been doing my lashes here for approximately two months & I really like it. i waited to make an accurate review.I've been to two lash techs and one of them is ginger. I really love the way she does them and you can barely feel her doing but they last me a reasonable time. I do YouTube videos so I put on heavy makeup 4 times a week and I go to the gym 4x a week. When you first get your lashes the weirdest feeling is them blowing in the wind other wise I don't really feel them and they don't bother me. It's usually quite in there and relaxing. Their prices are fair in my opinion and gingers speed is really fast as well. My mother introduced me to the place. Also they offer 10% off if you pay cash! The only complaint I have is when they text you your confirmation or appointment notice it's always a different number. read more

Hands down the best and only lash extension place that I will ever go to! Renee is such a doll and is extremely great at what she does. Instead of putting generic extensions on your eye, she customizes lashes for each client depending on your eye shape and length you want. I've been going to her for awhile now but the first time I went she put 3 different types of lashes on me; I believe it was the C, J and D curl. Renee's lash studio is located on a quiet block inside a commercial loft studio building. Just make sure to look for the wooden sign "lazy lash" on the side of the building and you can buzz yourself in. Her studio is a small space with two beds, one of each side of the wall (sometimes she has another lash lady there working too who is also great) and is decorated with a very sweet, rustic sensibility. All the decor is done by Renee down to building the cool light fixture that hangs on the ceiling. I find her prices to be reasonable, especially for the great job she does. I see her maybe every 3-4 weeks and it's really relaxing and sometimes I just end up falling asleep. My favorite part is looking in the mirror after and seeing how glamorous it looks! I'll have to make sure to take some photos next time! She takes credit cards as well (square on iPad). Note - Texting her is the best way to get a hold of her as majority of the time she is working on clients and can't pick up the phone. But don't you worry, she will text you right back. Also - I've noticed a few yelpers complaining about the lashes falling out within 24 hours. I haven't really had this problem but it would help if you do NOT shower, wash your face or do any heavy activities like going to the gym, running right after. I basically try not to touch my face the next 3-4 hours. I also use a clean eyelash/eyebrow brush to keep my lashes in line after I wash my face or take a shower. read more

Hands down the best lashes I've ever had. The atmosphere was lovely and I paid about 80$ for a new set of extensions, which is about what I've paid anywhere else. The differences between these and every other set I've had(worn extensions for years) are significant. 1. The look and feel are incredibly natural but have the dramatic effect I was going for. 2. The glue never irritated or stung, even in the shower. 3. I've been in saunas had facials and several messages as well as traveled to subtropical climates, and these babies still look great a month later. Could they use a couple of fillers? Sure, but they aren't at a point where they look ragged or have gaps missing. I'll also mention I sleep on my stomach and use face oils as part of my skincare routine-(allI lash extension sins no doubt), and I continue to get compliments. It's bonkers. Very pleased, I gave this place a chance, though my experience has certainly ruined me for any other place. I'll be back whenever I'm in NY. read more

I went to lazy lash out of convenience not to travel to Manhattan. The atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, I am not pleased with the results.. the lashes are too long (I asked for a very natural look) and after 2 days the lashes are bending in different directions despite caring for them as instructed. This is very upsetting considering I have to go on vacation next week. The prices are relatively high for theservice. Update: Following a week long vacation the lashes look terrible. I was truly embarrassed by the appearance. I cannot wait to get these off. I left 1 Star for atmosphere and 1 Star for ease of appointment scheduling otherwise, 0 stars for the service. I would not come back again unless I really need to get them down immediately since I live near by. I like the atmosphere so I wanted to check so I went. But first, They don't have many Types of extensions. The First time I went was ok. My technician was very nice and did her job really quick which was less than an hour. But they lasted only 2 weeks. They usually last 3-4 weeks. Second time I went was terrible. My technician was a guy which was totally fine if he would have been professional. However he wasn't. I ordered volume lashes (2D). While he was doing it, my left eye got hurt (I think glue got into my eye. As a result, both eyes looked very different especially The outer corner of my eyes. Also this guy could not speak English AT ALL. So I called right after I left and went back to fix the same day. I mean, it's fine that he can't speak English if he is professional. I came back to fix but he didn't even apologize to me. He didn't even speak ONE-WORD. Come on. Say something. Learn English. He didn't say "thank you" as well. At least say these two words. If he is professional ? I'm actually a bit scared to go there. Atmosphere is nice tho What a shame. read more

I've been getting lash extensions for about a year now and this past weekend, I needed a new set badly. My regular place is in the city and isn't open on Sundays so i thought i would give lazy lash a try since they're only a few blocks from my apt! I'm so glad that i did because i'm in love with my lashes! I got the full set and it took about 1.5 hours since they removed my all my old extensions and put on a whole new set for me! The price is a bit more than i'm use to paying, but i was basically going to a budget lash place before. We'll see how this new set holds up and i just might be convinced to switch over! They were so gentle in removing my lashes and the environment is relaxing! Each tech has their own little cubicle with real walls, pillows and blankets are provided. An hour session is standard but the super minimal drying time with no stinging is the bonus. I had my lashes done by Renee almost a week and a half ago. She took her time and was very thorough. I don't typically wear any eye make up so I expected them to last longer. But 10 days later I have hardly any lashes left. And the few strands that are left are very hard. I am still giving her 4 stars because she was professional and was very welcoming which made me comfortable. It was my first time ever having lashes and maybe they are just not for me but I'm not sold either way. Just got back from an appt at Lazy Lash. The building is a bit nondescript and hard to find in the dark, but go by the numbers and it should be fine. Once in, there was no wait at all and we started immediately. She put on some music and my whole appointment took only an hour. I definitely appreciated the care and detail with which each lash was applied, then checked up on, then brushed at the end. Also, I had forgotten to tell her that I bought the deal for 125 lashes (I just assumed all the deals had been the same amount) until after we were done. Since she had only done ~90 on each eye, she quickly offered another session with only a minimal charge. I was very happy with this and will be back soon to visit! Overall, it was as painless an experience as it could be, esp for someone like me who can't ever stay still for anything.
