Worst experience ever! I,ve been here many times and everytime it is a hit or miss with the threading and some of my worst experiences happened the last 4 times I went here. I always ask the lady to just clean my eyebrows and thread my forehead so they don't ruin the shape of the brow and she always touch the shape and make one look smaller. Last time i told them again to not touch it since the last lady ruined my brows and I am growing them back and she respected my request so my brows were looking like normal again till today when i asked another lady and explained to her everything and she still made one brow smaller but taking a whole line from one of my brows!!!!!! Idk how this salon and these people are operating and what part of my request they don't understand. I keep paying the full amount plus tip to get horrible brows that last for months!!! Never go here!!! read more

I've been getting my eyebrows done at various salons for about 25 years, and I'm always pretty satisfied. Today I came in and Anji did a very messy job, leaving lots of stray hairs and basically having missed a bunch of spots. I asked that she fix it, and she proceeded to try to re-wax the same spots. After doing this and beginning to irritate my skin, I asked that she use a tweezer instead of rewaxing. She kept on re-waxing the same spots but not removing the hairs. After my skin was really starting to hurt I just stopped her and said I will clean it up at home. I don't know if she has difficulty seeing, is inexperienced with wax, or just needs more training, but it was by far the worst eyebrow treatment of my life. About 5 hours later my face remains red and irritated. I have had a good experience with other technicians here, but be careful since the skill level is inconsistent. read more

Rose Beauty Studio - Five hours later my face remains red, In pain, and irritated. In decades of eyebrow waxing I've never had this experience. - Threading Services Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

If I could give this place Zero stars I would! The worst facial of my life I called for a Organic Seaweed facial and what I got was neither organic, nor it had seaweed. This place is NASTY, not just bad! I entered and my first impression was the foul smell throughout - something between mold and filthy unwashed towels. That should have been the moment I turned around and left but I wanted to give them a chance. No kindness goes unpunished as they say... Then I go to a filthy pink room with bright white light like a hospital light, just super bad and unpleasant for the eyes. Then a woman comes in and gives me a disposable paper "robe" more like a cover and asks me to put it on. She leaves the room and I notice this thing has STAINS like makeup stains. I was like Ew, no way I'm putting this stained nasty thing on my body. She comes back and I point out that this is dirty she pretends nothing happened and brings me another paper "robe" that is also wrinkled but no visible stains on it - I would not be surprised if it's also been used :( Gross She then says that Priya will come in and start the facial. Then the torture begins as she starts wiping my face with cotton balls saturated with what feels like a very dry astringent (I later checked the products and it's indeed what it was), and keeps on dry rubbing this irritating thing on my face as I'm cringing from the uncomfortable feeling. After about 10 minutes of rubbing my face with cotton balls, she wipes me with drug store facial wipes (again, after she left I checked and have photos of them). Eventually the "esthetician" took out a (cheap!!) sheet mask and put it on my face for 15 minutes. Then she takes it off and rubs some more astringent-soaked cotton balls on my face. At the end of this absolutely awful "treatment" I was left with dry and brittle skin and disgusted that I had allowed this to happen to my face. I had a bad feeling walking in this smelly and unsanitary space, and should have trusted my gut. As I was paying at the end I confronted Priya that there was NO seaweed in my Seaweed Facial, nor were there organic products used - and she said "yes; it was seaweed." Lady, I can read and have photographs of the dollar store crap you put on my face! You can't just slap the word "Organic" on subpar products and charge people premium - this is beyond the pale! The whole experience was by far, the WORST facial of my life - I don't even have anything to compare this to, just a low of its own. These people have never done a facial in their lives and obviously just wanted to take my money. I am appalled that this establishment even exists- complete liars and so unethical. read more

I've lived in the area for a while, and I'm very grateful to have found my new go-to spot for eyebrow threading! My brows were lookin MESSY during lock-down. Luckily, the women at Rose Beauty were professional, considerate, and kind. I'm usually cautious about my eyebrows, but I decided to take a risk and was worth it! I paid $11 (not including tip), and very happy with both the price and the service. read more

Awesome head massage - which is a rare find to be offered solo, but primarily where I need it. Priya was a sweetheart and also massaged my temples and jaw. The oil feels very nice and nourishing. It's not a spa so no frills, but easy to get in and out! read more

What happened to Saira? She was very talented. The new eyebrow woman, Anji, is nice but she took off more of my eyebrow than I wanted the last two times I was there. It's not worth the risk of going back. It also recently smelled of mold so I'm going to stop going there. read more

Rose Beauty Studio - Eyebrow threading - Threading Services Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I found Rose Studio through ClassPass and grateful for that introduction. I scheduled threading, deep cleaning facial, and a hand and face massage. Ambience: Visiting the salon is similar to walking in to a temple or yoga studio. Incense and bajans/ mantra singing. Not updated but efficient. Products: All were rose scented products. I have severe allergies but did not react to any of the products. With Anji's pro techniques, products performed much better than the high end brands I have used (Osmosis, FaceReality, PCA, Dermatologica, Clinique, Lancôme, etc). Technique: Focused on lymphatic drainage, lots of massage (even for acne prone) at every interval between product application. Worked the back of the neck, chest, jaw area and addressed the key acupressure /Marma points. The pressure was firm and intentional but not painful. As a therapist this was more of a detox facial. Nothing was done that would cause inflammation or harm the skin. No extractions but Angie used an ultrasonic skin spatula. As having acne Prone skin, never had a facial massage within any facials. She also massaged the thin edges of my hair and applied oil to it, and gave a complementary head massage. I had a full face threading before the facial, but she addressed my area of concern massaging and retreading my chin for another 15 minutes! Although I have never had a facial without extraction, my skin was not inflamed, calm, and hydrated. I have never had such an effective massage that improved the hydration and quality of my skin. The owner of the salon is a love. She has difficulty with English but we were able to communicate with some effort. She has excellent energy and is focused on providing excellent service. She trimmed my eyebrows, threaded where appropriate and tinted them (tinting was $18) It's cash only, but honestly was the best experience. I also got a hand and foot massage and it was similar in focusing on energy and lymph flow vs muscular relaxation: I honestly can say I prefer what she did better than any of the high end facials I have received. Anjie, the is humble, honest and an amazing individual. You will not be disappointed!! read more

So glad this place opened right across the street from my job. Such a convenient location and love how clean it is! I am super detailed with my eyebrows and I never really found a place that did them the way I want except in the city which wasn't convenient at all to travel to for eyebrows living in Brooklyn. I leave so happy with how great my eyebrows look and they take their time, you don't feel like they're rushing you to get to the next customer. Couldn't recommend enough. I called the salon today to go over the price list for waxing. The lady was not the kindest picking up the phone as I heard an attitude. I was a bit taken aback when she abruptly cut me off as I was speaking and stated "I have a customer. You need to come in to see the prices" and just hung up the phone. I was planning to go in today as a new customer but living in a different neighborhood I wanted to confirm prices as it did not show online. Needless to say I will be going to a different salon that has more professionalism and better customer service. read more

I wish I found Rose Beauty Studio earlier. Their service is seriously amazing and the price is fantastic ($9). I only had a five minute wait and the woman who worked on my eyebrows really listened to what I wanted and made sure to get it right.
