Came here right after my move to Brooklyn recently for a mani pedi and was really happy with the way they turned out and their service. I moved from LA and I hated getting my nails done for a while now because of how careless the nail salons do your nails nowadays. Spending your money on shitty results is so infuriating. Bina (or is it Rina?) is my nail tech here at Fabulous Brows and Nail Spa. She does good work and I'm pleased with her. I mostly come for the massages so when Bina isn't available I don't mind other techs attending to me. They all seem to know their stuff. I've had no issue with their threading, my facelift. Temperature check and contact tracing is practiced here. There is flexi between staff and customers at the mani tables but none at the pedi stations. Clean place with quick and consistently good service. I usually come for a regular pedicure and nail shaping/cuticle cleanup on my hands. They're done in under an hour and my nails always look good after (FWIW I've gotten my nails done every two weeks for the past 12 years and am pretty picky). I've also done gel manicures here, which have come out nicely. I used to go to a different "luxury" nail salon nearby, but honestly, my nails look just as good coming out of this place, and the other salon would take over two hours because it was more of a spa-like experience. The potential downside to this place (depending on what you prefer) is that it's no frills. Bottom line: I'd recommend coming here if getting your nails done is more of an errand for you. Lady messed up my brows. When I brought it to her attention & even showed her she says "everyone's eyebrows don't look the same" I said "mine do & you messed them up". She got an attitude & said she's been doing eyebrows for yrs. Literally took no accountability with me even showing her how she took too much off of one. This has been my go-to nail spot every 2-3 weeks since pre-COVID and throughout. The women who own and staff this spot are all so solid: super nice, courteous and professional, and my nails are always done really well no matter who does them. They consistently do a great and efficient job. It's also quite chill - I don't feel like I'm constantly being upsold a back massage or more expensive pedicure or whatever. Personally I like that they don't really do acrylics, i.e., it doesn't smell really chemically in the shop. COVID stuff: the staff is all consistently masked (both nose and mouth), and fellow customers also seem quite considerate / consistently masked. Seems like they get a bunch of fresh air in every time people go in/out given the way the front door is designed. read more

Im disappointed to say that I showed up for an appointment and walked out due to unprofessionalism of Bina and staff in general. No one greeted us when we arrived I had to speak up and ask for Bina. She then said it would be 2 mins, I waited 8 mins and walked out. There was no apology or concern from her either. Time is precious and shouldn't be wasted, honesty is always better if you cant accommodate a patron say so. read more

Third time coming to this salon and have definitely found my new neighborhood spot. I'm impressed by how clean it is - they do it right with pedicure tub liners, single use file boards etc - and the manicurists take their time to make sure your nails come out looking great! Just moved to the area a few weeks ago and was searching for a reliable place to get my nails done, thankfully this place opened recently and they are fabulous like their name :-) I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure done, perfect job and great little back/shoulder massage while the gel was being cured! The ladies who work here are all so nice and work hard to provide the best service. They also happen to do waxing and threading which I will have to try out next time I go. A new salon on Fulton St in Fort Greene with AMAZING SERVICE! Highly recommend for friendly service and reasonable prices. I had my eyebrows and lip threaded and the lovely technician was very thorough and friendly - and my brows look FABULOUS! The salon also offers other services - eyelash extensions (mink, silk and regular), manicures, pedicures and facials (I haven't seen any other shop in Ft Greene offering facials, so I'll be back to try it out!). This is my new spot! While I am a bit of a salon hopper- this place has me coming back. Brows/lash- I got the real mink extensions which looked amazing- I didn't keep them up because I lived in fear of losing them- but they were amazing. I get my blonde brows threaded and dyed dark every two weeks and they are perfect! Nails - they are often a bit slow- but they are committed to perfection. I have never said I was in a rush- so it is possible they are just giving me a great service and extra time because I am there so much! The ladies are wonderful. I scheduled an appointment a week ago for a pedicure and short message. I prepaid with tip over $70. I showed up on time to my appt and found all of the pedicure stations filled and all having just started their pedicures. They said it would be a 30-45 minute wait. This was very disappointing because I had other plans later in the evening and could not wait. I had been looking forward to this for awhile (it was going to be my first one since covid). Yeah ya also my husbands 40th birthday party this weekend and I wanted to get my toes done before then. This is the last day I have free before then. The woman was unapologetic and just kept telling me that other people walked in right before me. I had made an appointment and prepaid so that shouldn't have mattered. The icing on the cake is that when you book an appointment, they send you at least 5 emails and text messages letting you know that they accept absolutely no cancelations at any point in time (like not even a week ahead of time) and make you pay up front. I will not return to this place and do not recommend others to go. read more

Solid, cheap spot for a manicure / pedicure. Everyone is really nice, and you can't beat the convenience (right across from the G, few blocks from Ft Greene). Took a star off because it's not very updated, and my wax wasn't the most luxurious (read: they use the same strip over and over again), but it was all pretty good. And again, it was well-priced. Bina is the best - she used to do my lashes in Park Slope since before the salon opened and now I am thrilled to have her right around the corner! The staff is super attentive and sweet and through and through a great neighborhood salon experience. Been here twice since I moved to the neighborhood and like it so far! Good prices, good color selection and clean place.

I went in for the $30 lash extensions a few weeks ago, and the glue made my eyes water profusely, to the point where I had to hold a fan to my eyes to dry them out, which isn't that big of a deal. The extensions lasted about a week, and when I went in for a fI'll, they initially told me it was a 25 min wait, which I was totally fine with. However, the lash tech apparently didn't want to make me wait that long, which in theory, is nice. But she came out of the back room where she seemed to be tied up with another client, did a VERY rushed job filling my lashes (literally like 2-3 min), my eyes were watering like crazy again and she didn't stop until I asked her to, even though my eyes were watering so much to the point I couldn't see, and didn't even let me look at them before she went back. When I did look at them, they were uneven and some of the lashes didn't even adhere properly. Fast forward another week and a half, which brings us to today. I woke up this morning and my eyes were BURNING. I had to soak my lashes off with baby oil and a cotton ball, and even then, they ripped about half my natural lashes out. Moral of the story is: do not ever trust cheap lash extensions. You will regret it. read more
