Sarika always makes me feel like a million dollars despite my poor ability to come back as regularly as I should. I, and my face, are forever in her debt. read more

I absolutely love this place! I am not a huge fan of threading (I used to swear by waxing) but because Saarika is so efficient and talented I can muster up the courage to sit through the 5 minutes. My eyebrows are always on point and o get compliments the moment I get out her chair. It's so worth it! read more

The worst eyebrow threading experience: 1. The staff didn't even bother to remove my eyebrow makeup to properly assess the natural shape. 2. They shaped the top lower than the middle, creating an uneven look. read more

Unfortunate to write this review because before today, I would have said Sarika was pretty good with eyebrow waxing and threading as in the past few months Ive been visiting she has always done an ok job and has been friendly and pleasant and willing to listen to my preferences - even did facials for my kids and I. HOWEVER, when people show you who they are - BELIEVE them. She showed another side of herself to me that is vindictive and ill-intentioned after I refused to have her thread my eyebrows at her strange insistence (I never thread much) and instead wax and pluck as we normally do. I also asked her to brush and scissor before waxing which appeared to irritate her, which I also thought was weird because we have discussed this before and its never been a problem. Well, I would have never refused or made the request had I known she would go so far and take an entire chunk of hair out of my natural long and thick eyebrows! She then let me discover it myself after smiling and saying "take a look!" and when I immediately noticed it she had the nerve to suggest I must've had a scar there that caused it which was totally not true. *sideeye #shame This is a rookie mistake that she is too trained to have made. This was no mistake. This was indeed intentional. She didn't even apologize and actually laughed. There is obviously something wrong with her. All good though. ***Every man is a chain in the link of my good. My eyebrow will grow back and her karma will come around. She has also set me on the path to do what my intuition has been telling me to do anyway-find a new salon! Her work has just been ok and convenient and I noticed she had been taking too much off the front of my brows anyway. All is forgiven but lesson learned. May this serve as fair warning to anyone seeking her services - be aware! She is not as sweet as she pretends to be. read more

Top threading experience I have had in NYC. I have been going here for months for my eyebrows, and every time I go, it is a pleasant experience. It so reasonably priced and quick! If you are anywhere in the Boerum Hill/Fort Greene/Park Slope area, there is no question, this is the place to go for eyebrow threading. read more

Wanted to really like this place since it was close to my house, clean and not crowded. Sadly the woman (Sarika) who runs it is super painful, left cuts under my eyebrows and when I asked her this time for a bit of shape to my eyebrows her response was "that's your problem, why don't you like your eyebrows". Definitely taking my business one of the other threading salons around. Seems like her attitude has been an issue based on other reviews here. read more

Amazing job! She is so fast and so precise. Honestly the best threading I have had EVER! Will definitely come back :)

I come here frequently and always have a great experience - the service is consistently friendly, quick and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done, and look forward to trying the other services as well. read more

Sarika is the best!! I've been going to her for years and I would trust no one else with my eyebrows. I introduced her to my mom and sister and they both agree. We've all become regulars! :) She is easy to be around and creates a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. read more

My eyebrows turned out awesome. And I'm scary about letting new ppl touch them. So I usually wait wayyyyyy to long to get them done lol. She did great with my bushes. read more

This is for eyebrow threading: First of all, the lady that threaded my eyebrows was not gentle by any means. I've been threading my eyebrows for over 15 years and usually find it soothing (so soothing that I start to doze off). However, this was not the case. The lady who did my eyebrows was going at my brows so hard that my lip was trembling because of the pain. Luckily, she was very fast. The end result was decent. My eyebrows look clean but she lost the arch which I loved about my eyebrows. They just look round which isn't great. Surprisingly, my eyebrows did not turn red or get bumps the next morning which my eyebrows are known to do after threading. So that's a good thing! The lady who did my eyebrows was very nice but I highly doubt I'll come back purely because of losing the shape of my eyebrows which I'll have to grow out again to get them fixed. read more

Recently opened and great addition to the neighborhood! Had my eyebrows threaded and they look great! They also offer waxing, facials, massages -- definitely recommend! read more

Creative Threading Salon - Waxing Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

After a long day on my feet, I stopped by creative threading salon for a quick polish change and an eyebrow tint (....and a little TLC seeing as my sleep hasn't exactly been peaceful due to our new president elect haha ha... hmmm....) ANYWHO ---- Sunita did a wonderful job on my nails and was very friendly (unlike most folks in the city ..... it's like I'm always talking to myself lol!). Sarika made me look like a rockstar-- shaping and tinting my off centered distressed eyebrows into Kiera Knightly Esq. Perfection. Lovely ladies, good vibes, cozy salon, and great prices. I'll definitely be back! read more

Creative Threading Salon - Love my eyebrows !! - Waxing Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

The short story is that they did an excellent job and the prices are good. I came in to get my eyebrows and lip waxed. The two lovely ladies there suggested I go with threading for my eyebrows so they could better even them out. I decided to defer to their expertise. I have to admit it: it worked out well. They did a very careful job, kept my desired thickness, and it didn't hurt as much as threading has in the past. For the lip we stuck with waxing--quick and thorough. And my face is not on fire. And my total was $14 (before tip of course, and when the prices are that good, you need to up the tip). I don't know if I got extra care because I walked in when there weren't other customers, or if they're always that good, but I guess I'll find out because I'll be returning. Tips: there's a loyalty card so you can earn a free service; they also do nails (haven't tried yet), and they take credit cards with a $10 minimum. read more

Most painful threading experience I've ever had. I was whimpering in pain, and I've had my fair share of threading experiences. Would not return. read more

Did my eyebrows just as I wanted them. Very polite. Found this place by mistake. Best mistake I've made yet ;). My eyebrows came out sharp, gentle didn't hurt anymore then a regular thread hurts. read more

Not excellent, not bad. Just okay. The threading was the fastest threading job I'd ever had, and a few of my lip hairs were left. To be fair, my standards are super high because my lady back home is extremely detail oriented. But for a quick job in a clean place, I would give it a 3.5. read more

I always get a nice shape, good service and she takes care when doing your brows. Friendly.

I go here every 2-4 weeks for eyebrow threading before my work shift with Sarika. It takes about 5-7 minutes, she threads, then trims and will put on lotion with a short 15 second massage. I go at 6:30-6:45pm and I have never waited more than 10 minutes. Eyebrow threading is $7. There is tax if you use a cc. read more

Ive been here twice and I've loved how my eyebrows looked! But does anyone know where they moved too?

sarika is the BEST, and after some mishaps at other eyebrow threading places, she was a staple. i'm so sad it seems like they may have closed or moved. if anyone has any information about where sarika is now, please let me know!! read more

I love this salon! I moved to Park Slope in May, stumbled across it one day walking home from the train and have been obsessed since then. I have my eyebrows threaded every 2-4 weeks and have had great experiences every time! The woman working there is so friendly and very quick! One time I even stopped by 3 minutes after closing and she re-opened the shop just for me! Truly a wonderful gem of a place with excellent prices! read more

Maya was so attentive and took her time making sure of every detail and that I was completely satisfied. So happy to have a great threading salon in an area that was lacking. read more

Was not satisfied. Stopped in for a message after work and asked how much. First Lady said $10 and the other said $11. That should have been a sign of trouble but I needed a knot worked on in my shoulder blade that she never got to. I have a full body massage at a spa in Manhattan frequently so I know what a good massage is. Regretfully this one was no where near good. No technique. It felt like she was working on pizza dough. Light slapping and uneven pinching. My neck was in pain from not being supported and when she started on my shoulders I had to tel her to get in deeper. It's was a 10minute massage that event over 15. However I felt more slapped around than anything. Kind of like the massage you give your Spouse when you really don't want to. Very amateur. Also didn't appreciate the ladies talking in another language that was not english. Their giggling was not conducive to relaxing and with the poor performance I had a nagging feeling that the knew something I didn't. I was offered a full body massage at check out but honestly not considering it. Maybe if I need my eyebrows done I'll come back. read more

Creative Threading Salon - Jus in case there was any doubt I was there. - Waxing Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Mamata is the QUEEN of threading!! I am super picky about who threads my brows and this is my go-to place for threading now. She carefully threads by meticulously measuring angles to form the best shape for my face, and she really takes her time! I feel like so many other threading salons rush through their customers and are already taking their next customer before they finish with you, but Mamata takes her time to make sure your eyebrows are perfect! I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for 10 years and they have never looked as good as they do now, all thanks to Creative Threading Salon! read more

Absolutely love this place, I will no longer go anywhere else. I have been in and out of town for the past few years as I'm attending school out of state, but I make a point to come here every time I am home. She can always tell when I've let someone else touch my brows because no one else can do as good of a job! read more

Did my eyebrows here since its close to my job & I haven't been able to go to my regular spot. (I adore my eyebrows with everything in me!) So the woman started doing them & showed me and I asked her to stop because I could already tell she wasn't doing them how I wanted. She proceeded and told me she had to "trim" them to get them how I like. She kept stopping to show me & I kept telling her "no, please just stop now, I dont want my eyebrows ruined and i'll just pay for the one eyebrow (LOL). But she wanted to finish to get them how I wanted even though I was already clearly unhappy. In the end I allowed her to finished & she "trimmed" way to much off, my brows are raw & i'm miserable about my eyebrow. They aren't terrible (someone could've done a worse job of course) but they aren't amazing like I'm used to. Safe to say I won't stray away from my regular spot anymore. read more

I got my mani and pedicure done here recently. The service was great. I really liked how my nails were done. People are also nice here. They had a special offer going on ( I believe they said it was on Monday - Wednesday) and I was able to get mani+pedi done for $20. Very happy with the service. This is definitely going to be my regular place to go from now onwards. read more
