It's a nice space that kinda reminds me a bit of a modernized salon-like barber shop. Once it was my turn, I sat down and she got right to work, confirming I wanted a clean. She didn't ask many questions after, but hey, I'm not picky with my brows, I just want them to look nice and even, and she definitely delivered! The service was fantastic throughout! Also, at the end, she put some soothing aloe and gave me a temple massage -- it was so lovely :). They have a loyalty punch card so you can get a free wax after coming 7+ times I believe. I go to check out and I'm told the total will be $30! Lip threading is $7 so I question it and she tells me that I'm being charged the eyebrow fee of $22. I question this again as not much was done and was told there isn't a reduced fee for a clean up. She won't budge so I show her their website quotes $25, but refused to honor it. Something to keep in mind if you go. I'll only be doing my lip from now on with my preferred person.

We asked her for designs from their google and Yelp photos. She said that's too complicated. She called someone, not sure what was said and then says she can only do something simple. We would've left but my niece was so excited about her first henna. We showed her a very simple design of flowers (please see the photos of my niece's hands, she could've done that herself and she's six). She then "gave us a discount" by only charging us $30 for both hands. I didn't want to make a scene because I didn't want to make my niece cry, so we paid it. Never again. Beware of this scam. I suggest moving forward you indicate on your website that you are by appointment only, and perhaps let your coworkers know that as well so they can answer questions appropriately and not wait people's time. When I moved from Chicago to NYC in 2018, I was so nervous that I wouldn't be able to find anyone to do my threading and waxing the way my ladies back home had been doing for over 15 years. Surprisingly, I found this gem of a place, even though it's across town from me, and I haven't had to look elsewhere since! Himalayan has the best service, chillest vibe, and they are always on point! Sonya is my go-to lady and she's kind, funny, and efficient! I love that I can be in and out for a leg wax and threading in less than 30 mins! I'm pretty sure my commute takes longer than the services, but it's always worth the trek across town.
