Service here was cool but the quality of work is probably the worst thing I have ever experienced! I get my nails done on schedule so I have a variety of experiences to judge from. My dip extension gel nails started peeling about two hours after I left here. Within 24hrs a few more of nail had the polish fully peel off and starting cracking. One the cracked nails bumped my luggage and completely cracked and started bleeding. I get my nails done every three weeks or so and have NEVER had this happen. Will not be returning! read more

I went and asked for a basic gel French manicure, she tried to convince me to get powder and I had to tell her twice no , and the she replies with a rude whatever. I think these might actually be the worse nails I ever got. The French lines are all crooked and the gel is thick in some area. I asked her to fix it and she filed it for two seconds and said okay done. And it was still terrible. It's only been two days and the gel is already peeling off. Avoid this place at all cost. Really enjoyed my visit! I got the gel manicure and regular pedicure. The salon is very clean and the staff was super friendly. I had a really great conversation with the staff. For the gel manicure, they give you moisturizing gloves, which I thought was a nice touch. I came on a holiday Monday and was able to book my service through Classpass. And I agreed it did look nice but it was too long for the type of work that I do. She says she will fix everything at the end! I said ok! MAYBE 3 minutes passes by and she said she's done.. and I'm confused because I JUST said I would like it shorter and one nail was just COMPLETELY OFF! I asked nicely if she could make them shorted and she filed the sides and I told her, I'm sorry I meant shorter and showed her how short I wanted it... when she filed the sides again I just waiting till she was done because at this point I felt like I was asking for a lot! This time only had her shape them. For the wax, Dear aesthetician's PLEASE hold down the skin as you're pulling off the wax strip. It was sooooo painful even with me taking Tylenol before hand which usually works!! I also notice a large strip of hair left right where my stomach meets my Mons pubis. (Guess they consider this the stomach here ). $47 the most basic pedicure you could imagine with gel color. I thought she said $27 which is why I agreed to do it. There was a bit of a language barrier and she had a mask on (but the price is posted so that was my fault It came out nice and neat but I def would have never paid $50 for a usual $30 service. $60 for such a horrible full set. I asked for coffin shape. Entire time she kept complaining about the length. (Plz check the picture!!!!! ) I should've left then. They're very bulky, uneven, bad shape, bad cuticle just all around NO. Planning to soak off and go some else. I started soaking my nails in cold acetone and they left me to soak for 50 minutes my fingers almost fell off from how cold it was. She came back and I informed her after almost an hour of soaking I needed to leave without getting my manicure. She left my nails with a lot of acrylic on them and when I let her know she was upset about it. I paid $20 for the worst experience ever. I've been coming here for about a year. They have a great color selection and the salon is very well kept. My favorite technicians are Cici and May. I was in a ton of pain one day and while giving me a pedicure, May noticed my spider veins and a bump I've had on my leg for years. May pointed this out and schooled me to a massage technique that would help. By the end of my session, the pain had subsided and the lump pretty much gone! I continued the massage technique as she recommended and my leg is getting better. I only go to see May. She's full of jokes and does look out for you instead of just offering services for the pure benefit of "making money". Cici is always smiling and just "knows" what works for you every single time. These are the only two nail techs I see. Everyone here is pretty good, but I've bonded pretty well with May & Cici and would never "cheat" on them! I have to say I've been in nyc almost ten years and always have fake nail extensions on. So I've been to a lot of places..but I had an extremely bad experience here. Which sucks because the place itself is nice. The ladies as well. But the nail job was not good. I asked for acrylic extensions and without telling me the woman decided to do something similar to sns. She gave me an extremely wrong color and I wasn't aware because I thought it was just the base not the final color. She did the wrong shape and I had to have her reshape at the end. Which led to smudging and then she said she'd fix it and wouldn't give me my hand back. As I hated the color and figured I'd do it myself at home. On top of all of that she took about an hour and Half to do it. Took ages! Waste of my time and money. Oh and yes she charged me in full. read more

I've come to this location multiple times for pedicures and they always come out great. I've recently started doing my fingernails here and the first experience was not so great. I asked for tips and they highly recommended gel powder because it's softer on the nails which would cause less damage. I agreed not knowing much about it and desperate because I was going away in a couple of days. During the process my cuticles were screaming from how close they brought that drill machine to my sensitive cuticles. I showed the lady a picture of how I wanted them and the end result missed the mark hard. They were lumpy.. yes lumpy as in the nail bed was not smooth from where the powder didn't adhere to the nail polish enough. Even with using the drill at the top of the nail it did not come out smooth. The color was uneven, again because of the powder process. The powder did not reach to the end of my nail, perhaps because there was no polish there, but in just 3 days the base of the nail (near the cuticle) was raising and it looked like I had them done for 2 weeks and not 2 days! I thought, okay, maybe let's try Gel manicure next time. The first attempt I came back after a week because my entire middle finger polish peeled off. Now, the last time getting gel, I have two nails that are chipped, the color is way off from what I selected and they are streaky AF. It's $35 for a gel manicure. When I asked the nail tech to fix some of the nails (sides not painted, uneven smudged coats), she insisted that they were not right because I was "moving around too much." I've been getting monthly gel manicures for years and have never had this issue before. She also used dirty instruments and used disposable buffers despite what it says on the wall ("we autoclave instruments and use disposable buffers"). I should have left based on the confused staff alone. I wanted a manicure with a heart beat design since I'm graduating with my nursing degree. The first person was confused what I wanted then told me she cannot do designs and that I had to wait for another lady (Lisa) the manager to get there. So I waited until Lisa got there and Lisa was annoyed so she kept yelling at the first person to do my manicure and she'll come to do the design. I didn't want to have two people working on my nails and I told Lisa that I would rather have her just do my nails which she then rolled her eyes and said fine. That's when I should have left. So Lisa does not know how to do designs either and it took her redoing my nails 3 times before I said fine. She couldn't do a heart, it looked like a messed up circle and she was very excited about it saying, it's good! I wasn't impressed and told her just to do another heartbeat. May has done an amazing job treating my nails which are healthier now and with the SNS powder gel I never chip. The other ladies are also very professional and friendly. I've come here several times for eyebrow threading. The wait is usually 5 minutes or less and they do a great job. The ladies here work hard and are very good at their trade. I would have give them 5 stars if I didn't just try to get a facial and have one of the worst facials I have ever had. Now I admit I went in in my post soccer clothes and didn't look the most posh but I still expected a clean environment and decent service for the price. My facial started out with them giving me a dirty cover for modesty. I do not wear any sort of make up and I found that the edges of the had smudges of some weird yellow gunk. The next stages of facial massaging and smearing the normal compounds on your face were marked by a worker who didn't think to take off her bracelets (3 on one hand, 1 watch on the other) and having them flop onto my face. She continued to massage the normal set of compounds but unintentionally rub them into my eyes. I can forgive a few accidents on that part because I do have sensitive eyes, but she ended up rubbing some of the exfoliant material into both eyes. When she tried to correct her problem she wiped my face with wet towels as I would expect, but she then cleaned out my nostrils and then kept wiping my face with the same towels. It is my snot, but I'd prefer not to wipe it all over my face mid facial. Alright, whatever. Let's keep going on. How was the extraction? It was sub par at best. So normally when I have my face extracted, I expect that any particularly hot spots have the potential to bleed. This was the case, as usual. The problem I had with that? She wasn't wearing gloves. Okay, fine. Next part, ending facial mask. So she put on a facial mask and told me it would take about 10 minutes and that she would be back to take it off after. Hard to mess up, right? Nope, she ended putting on the mask by throwing some cotton circles over my eyes and missed. Let's just think about this for a second. You missed. There are two empty spots for you to put those cotton circles. Alright, sometimes I can overlook this stuff but I had my phone on my lap and wanted to take a picture just out of curiosity. Lo and behold, pile of trash next to my head. Well, that doesn't seem sanitary. She came back after a few minutes and took the mask off and then tried to help me out of the disposable top which I appreciate but was unnecessary. I got up and put my clothes back on and she had left a pile of trash, including the mask she just took off my face just sitting on the bed. Dissatisfied, I also took a look around and found that the roll of disposable paper that lined the table was also sitting on the floor. Great. So clean. After this, I'll reconsider getting my eyebrows done here ever again given how disappointing the facial and how unclean everything was. If you want proof, I have pictures. Just ask. read more

I came in here for eyebrow threading - it's a convenient location for me, as I usually do a Target / Trader Joe's run at the same time. I came in a weekday night. There were two women doing threading, and the one finished with her customer very quickly and welcomed me to sit down. Price is very cheap - $7. She was very sweet, and my eyebrows look okay (though I had expressly said just clean them up, and follow the shape I already had. These are quite thin) but as soon as I came home I noticed I had scabs under my eyebrows. It's several days later, and I still have scabs under my eyebrows. I didn't know this could happen, as I prefer threading because it doesn't bother my skin (like waxing). Maybe this place is okay for nails, but wouldn't recommend it for eyebrows, unless you like a little scabbing to go with your new brows. read more

The ABSOLUTELY liar salon and very UNPROFESSIONAL. UV gel set got broken within couple days and no customer services at al!! I went to the store on my birthday weekend, the night before i go out. The boss took me over and promised me this is the right store to do everything. Turns out, their promising worker "15 years experience" one did my nail for 3+ hours, and right before the polish was going to apply, I realized all of the gel part on my nails are open. They were trying to fool me if I never asked at that moment. Still, they chared me full amount of the money, and my UV Gel nails were opened within one week. I have gone back to the salon, and they promised me to come back and fix it, but whenever I go back, they always busy and they did not even try to apologize for their lying behavior. They did not have the right material to glue the gel on my nail (UV gel process), but they said they can do it, and when its broken, they don't care and no customer services at that point anymore. The owner was very friendly, warm and inviting. The nail technician, not so much. For $45, I expected a better pedicure given that I've gone to other places and left with a great look and feel. I felt as if my technician was ending her day and cheapening my experience. Amy, which is her name, was not friendly at all and I often wondered if she knew what she was doing. As she applied my polish, I watched her make mistakes and as I reached to point it out, she hastily responded.
