Fulton Nail Bar is right my neighborhood so, convenience is always a plus. I used to use another local nail salon for many years, but I found that recently it shut down. I'm not someone who likes change. Although, change can be a positive experience. I've gone to the Fulton Nail Bar four times this far. They are a bit pricey. The facility is clean, modern and sets the tone for a relaxing experience. The staff is very nice and they have done a very good job on my manicures and pedicures. They don't rush which, is a plus. They also offer waxing, messages. They don't pressure you to get extra services. It will be my go to neighborhood nail salon and waxing salon. read more

Tried to pick the color but the reciptionist was adamant about the wrong color & slams the book shut saying, 'tell me the color then?' Umm, I'm trying to! I work nearby and like to squeeze in a quick mani on my break and used to go to a local nail salon that just closed. I have now come here twice. The service is OK. The prices are high for a simple manicure. Also I see it as very rude to ask for a tip before even doing my nails. That being said I am back to work and my nails are not done well. Do NOT go here for gel manicure. My nail tech was sweet but did a terrible job on my nails. They started peeling one day later and after 5 days, are a complete mess. I have a very busy work schedule and I was finally able to call after day 5 to see about a discount to fix them and was told no. I'm fed up with this place. The owner is so rude. Nasty attitude. The girls are usually great but she has a horrible attitude. I was lured in after peaking in the window and seeing the beautiful interior. I walked in had a glass of mint infused water and picked my colors. The pedicure felt rushed, even though I was five minutes early. I was not asked what shape or how much I wanted cut down. I did have my headphones in but I was communicating with them. They left dried skin on my big toe. The "free scrub" with the basic pedicure was very rough and the tech was very aggressive. The tech did not wear gloves. No base coat was put on my toes, I made a comment and nothing was done. They place your shoes on a shelf and if I didn't get up to ask for them I would not have gotten them. (I dried for 20 minutes, watched f1 qualifying while drying) There was something in the nail polish that created a weird bump I'm my big toe as well. Instead of them filing it down they just put more polish on and no top coat. It looks lumpier now. Most of my toes are lumpy and have too much nail polish on them but this is the worst. I as well was over charged. The others in the shop were charged 37 with changed I was charged 42. I asked for my receipt twice but they had thrown it out already. I tried to tip with cash (as tips are only cash or venmo) but the nail tech disappeared. I have been getting my nails done for YEARS and never had an experience this poor. I also very really make comments about being unhappy but i made a comment regarding this experience and it was brushed off. read more

Well, for starters, this place only received 2 stars because the nail tech (Jessica) who worked on my nails was nice, gentle, and gave me the best experience. I got my nails done 12/30/2022 and by 1/1/2023 3 were chipped. I called the salon today (1/3/2023) and explained to whomever answered the phone, about my problem. I wish I would've gotten the females name, but she proceeded to tell me that they only fix nails within two days and she doesn't know what I was doing with my hands. Almost too stunned to speak, I told her that her customer service was horrible and GEL polish should never chip within 3 days of being done and instead of the response you gave, it would've been nice for you to say, "I'm sorry this has happened, how can we fix this". I then proceeded to tell her that I will not refer this place to anyone else and whomever I did refer to them I will tell them about this. She said okay and hung up. Horrible !! I spent $85 in this establishment, GEL mani and regular pedicure for me and a regular manicure for my 6 year old daughter, plus a $20 tip for my nail tech and a $10 tip for the nail tech who worked on my daughter, threw this in there as I was talking, and to get this kind of response from the employee, it was disgusting and tasteless. GEL polish should never ever chip within 3 days of being done. I'm no construction worker, so my nail polish should last exactly how long the ad says, 2 WEEKS !! I'm shocked by the horrid $40 GEL manicure that started chipping and peeling after 2-3 days. I had it done for a business trip where I didn't want to worry about my nails... the opposite happened. I honestly never seen anything like this happen with gel nails which usually last until your nails grow. The owner was the one who did it as everyone was busy. I went back to inquire, I wanted my money back, but one of the girls said - "it depends on your lifestyle too"... say what? I didn't even wash dishes or went to the gym on those days. Why did she blame ME for their horrid service? After she saw my outrage she said they could try to fix it. No money back though. I came back home and easily peeled off each of them myself. And gel manicures are usually impossible to take off at home. The space renovation looks good and they have many colors, more than other salons but believe me - it's not worth it, you're going to get irritated if you go here. The good reviews are probably one offs and people got lucky. I had posted this on Mirai salon - apparently someone bought it out and renovated it, and there's new ownership now. But they kept the Mirai old sign for some weird reason. Now I understand why they are so expensive - they have to pay for the expensive renovation. The (probably) manager lady did my nails but it seemed like those 2 times I said something she was annoyed by it (that I would like a different color, bc that was see through, also didn't show me if I like it) and the length of the pinky. My toes came out cute but that's one of the employee's job, she was sweet and did a good job. It seemed like the employees not getting treated equally, which made me feel bad for them and uncomfortable.. on top of this I paid $125 +tax +tips for a gel manicure + gel pedicure. Without realizing the ownership change (the old signs are still up) I walked in thinking it's the people and same services, only to realize that new owners have bloated their prices to pay for the renovations. 50 dollars for a simple mani-pedi, plus tip. Since I live bicoastal, I can compare it to Hollywood. There is a place on Sunset Blvd where stars go to and it's 32 dollars for the same and better service. I recently got my gel manicure and it was wonderful. They have very nice space, all the staff were very nice, and love that free massage. I was worried about the bad reviews but I would definitely go there again because how they did with my nails it looks clean, smooth ( I had bad gel manicures before and it doesn't look great like they did) they also use home made scrub which smells amazing. I'm gonna come here again with my friends! P.S I saw the reviews about they still have Mirai sign and I asked them about it why they still have Mirai sign and they told me they were just waiting for the technician to come and take it off so I feel like that part of the review was unnecessary tbh. Before covid, Leon did my nails to a perfection. This was my number one spot to go to. I finally gave in two and a half weeks ago and went to get my nails done. I just felt like I wanted to do it again and it would make me feel a little bit better about my hands, which were not looking so good these days. I spent $60 on nails and within two weeks they were lifting. I have globs of polish at the base of my fingernails. Although it was not the style I asked for, I accepted it. When I stopped into the salon to show the proprietress what was happening to my nails after 2 weeks, she made me an appointment for a week later. I have nails that are lifting. My hair is catching under them in the shower and there is water under the nails. Today I was told that there is only one nail tech working at this salon and she is sick. I found this nail salon while doing some research and my oh my did I have one the of the very best experiences here!!! I must say I invited my cousin to join me on a girls day. As soon as we arrived the receptionist were very welcoming and inviting. One of the young ladies assisted my cousin on removing her coat and hanging it up for her.. which was very nice... then we began choosing our polish color with no rush to hurry up and choose. We both had the lemon ginger pedi with lemon scrub and lemon scented lotion which included a 6 minute massage was heaven!! I had Ms.Alicia and she took care of my feet omg I love her. She also did my manicure and it was amazing especially the hand massage including a mini shoulder massage she gave me it was AMAZING!!!
