    Two apres x nails fell off after 1 week

    I had really high hopes for the salon after reading reviews online. I had a very nice salon experience my nail tech was thorough and conversational. I got apres extensions and gel polish for a wedding. I went to last weekend on June 29. These photos are from today two of the nails have already fallen off one week later.

    My sister is a beauty and spa enthusiast. She told me about this place because she read about their organic gel that supposed to be healthier for your nails. She came all the way from Maryland just to try this spot out with me before we took a family trip to the Caribbean. She made the appointment one week before we arrived at our scheduled time and then changed the time on March 30th. They sent a text to confirm the new time a day before (April 1) and we did just that. The appointment was 5pm today, April 2nd. When we showed up ON TIME, the receptionist told us that we did not have an appointment but they had availability in the next hour fifteen minutes. We have dinner plans with family we haven't seen since pre-Covid tonight and we are flying out tomorrow so this was deeply inconvenient. My sister showed her the confirmation text and it didn't matter. To make things even more annoying -- they make you give your card information just in case you're a no show. There was no resolution, remorse, or anything. We left because no solutions were presented outside of waiting for an hour. Again, my sister drove 4.5 hours from Maryland with her mind set on this place and we didn't plan on a back up. No where else has availability since it's late on a Saturday. Very frustrating experience. EDIT: The owner reached out and let me know that when we rescheduled we called the Williamsburg location. That's a fair point, so now my critique is of the system the company uses. What I find odd is that they acknowledged the then current appointment at Fort greene but didn't note that they were the Williamsburg location or that the new appointment was for that location. That part isn't adding up for me, but ‍.

    I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure yesterday and left visibly upset due to the poor execution of what I asked for which was a simple square nail. The nail tech completely filed off the sides of my thumb nails and the gel looks very chunky like I got a bad dip powder service. The receptionist could tell that I was not happy about the service but I did not have time to stay to fix anything (which wouldn't have been able to be fixed because you cant put back my nail that she filed off) so I left. When I contacted management I was hit with "our services are non refundable and you can come back this weekend." I made it very clear that I would not be returning because once again you can not fix the problem the nail tech created and I the fact that I spent nearly $100 and received this poor of a service is just unacceptable. She continued to tell me that the service in non refundable and she spoke with the nail tech who said she didn't file too much off because my nails were already uneven when I came but she will "check the security cameras to see her job." A security camera WILL NOT show you up close details of what my nails looked like before she filed them all off and my nails were very long and VERY SQUARE before she touched them. Not to mention she told me my toes were completely dried and when I took my shoes off the were completely smeared. Im beyond angry and extremely disappointed with my experience at p H 7. The customer service is baffling. When someone is spending this amount of money for a service you would expect for the customer service to be top tier and this is far from the case.

    First time going here and very impressed! Lovely atmosphere! Very calm and welcoming. I took my 6 year old niece and they did a great job with both of our manicures. Love the clean organic philosophy. Will definitely be going back. Point of note - it is more of an adult/quiet/spa relaxing space so if you have a more 'high energy' child I would not take them there.

    This sugaring spot like many I've been to, have no hot towels. You really can't sugar without hot…read moretowels. No matter how talented the technician you will leave sticky. Also there was no pre-care. They do a Brazilian facial, but it's just like a scrub, which you should never do at the same time as a Sugaring or a waxing. Those processes are already physically exfoliating. With no hot towels, there is no way to open up the pores to loosen up the hairs so I had a bunch of breakage. I had regrowth within the week. Sugaring should give you about 2 1/2 weeks hair free. My technician was talented, but she only had a firm paste available to her so it was incredibly painful while she molded the sugar which shouldn't be painful at all. It was like dragging silly putty over my hairs. The walls needed another coat of white paint. You could see faint purple paint behind it. The bed is so rickety and narrow. There's no padding, I could feel the frame under my body. It was like laying on a wooden slab. My butt cheeks hung off of either side of the table. This is definitely not a double bolt treatment table, so all of the weight rests on a single bolt that could break. No windows no Plants. Nothing comforting.

I WAS a member for a little over a year when I learned that I had some health complications that required I have a FEW procedures to address 5 fibroids which were the size of grapefruits. This led me to be out of a few months but during this time my fees were still drafting. When I was healed, I reached out to ask if my future payments could be paused so that I could catch up and begin renewing again. I was denied that request and was told that I would no longer be given the membership pricing on what was already paid, in turn losing out on the discounted benefit that was paid out already. After receiving the less empathetic draconian policy driven response via email, I was left upset, annoyed and confused as to how could this be a women owned business? Sadly, the Manager at the time Samantha couldn't care less about my situation but I continued to use my credits and scheduled with the same person. Fast forward yesterday...I scheduled an appointment on Sunday with my Sugarista for Tuesday. Respecting their policy and wanting my service...I left my home in Manhattan early to be there on time. Paid my congestion pricing fee and rescheduled my workday based on the availability they mentioned she had, only to be told she's not in! WT!...? Where is the communication at? As soon they knew she wouldn't be in and that I requested her specifically someone should have picked up the phone to notify me. I've scheduled appointments with this location only for them to be cancelled by S+B on the same day via text a few times prior, so what made today any different!? I hope you Courtney see this....As a women owned, women service based business, you really should revisit your policies when it comes to women issues, specifically related to health! No it to mention all the invisible labor we have to endure as mothers and care takers. Getting sugared shouldn't be a stressor! Are you not a woman? Or is the financial driver more important than then the human side of business for you? There is no way I could have utilized the services after having repeat fibroid procedures in concession. As a customer who still paid during her recovery that should have counted for something. Getting Sugared is an intimate process and one that should be deem sacred. The fact you feel it's should be standard to have random people playing around near your vagina each month baffles me! I've done my trial an error with the different Sugarista's at this location and I'm satisfied with one. Based on that, I should have autonomy to choose and the very least I should be valued enough to be notified when my choice isnt available! Building relationships should be what you want with your clients & memberships; not a revolving door of freebies to lure customers in, then you treat them like trash when they've been captured in your membership. Stopping or pausing a membership for medical or health reasons without penalty should be standard instead you've chosen to lose a customer completely. I am so turned off I don't even want to use my credits anymore. S+B DO BETTER!

Super even and a nice shade of tan- not too dark or too light. Haven't done a spray tan in a decade and I'll definitely be back for my next occasion!
