I had an overwhelming sense of Deja Vu visiting Reedchy today for the first time. Perhaps it was their minimalistic design similar to another neighboring nail salon with an R name to it. This isn't your ordinary in/out nail salon where you hope they're sterilizing tools and keep a sanitary practice. Their focus is on using non toxic toiletries and the prices reflect it. First time customers (that would be me today) get 15% off. I chose a Lavender Pedicure which included the usual foot soak, nail trim and cuticle cutting in addition to callus removal, lavender lotions and soak and finally a 5 minute calf/foot massage. The woman who pampered my feet and brought them back to civilization did her work methodically and with precision. The salon was clean and spacious. Water or tea was offered upon arrival and there wasn't a heavy nail polish odor permeating the space. Some of their equipment such as the pumice pad were disposable while others had a careful run through the autoclave. It's often said " you pay for what you get" and I tend to agree. Satisfied customer. read more

I got the nail place confused I am going to give this one a try so this was not Reedechy nails I went. So very sorry about the bad review.

I didn't encounter any issues during my time here. The setting was comfortable, and the staff appeared experienced and organized. The process felt routine and efficient, making the visit feel predictable in a good way. read more

Reedchy Nail & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Reedchy is a very nice salon. The technicians are very good and it is a nice, very clean environment. I do think it is overpriced. There are equally nice salons nearby that are much less expensive. read more

I walked in looking to get a spa pedi and they accommodated without hesitation! The facility is clean. The staff is nice. My toes still look great! I was even able to book an appt for my mani the following day - no problem :) The only issue I had was that they didn't honor the 15% or 20% off (I don't remember the exact %) to me for being a new client, even tho online it was advertised as such. When I brought it up they said no we gave you 10% off, and wouldn't hear me even when I showed them their online advert. So that wasn't cool but the person who did my nails was lovely and the Japanese gel was pretty even tho today the thumb nail broke. And they're all my nails. And they are long. So I'm not pleased about that. But here we are :( Weirdly enough, I'd still recommend them lol... read more

I have been going to Reedchy for years. I used to come with my mom when we lived in queens. I moved out of state for a few years and moved back to NY last year and I live in Manhattan but still go to reedchy when I'm working in the area. They do a great clean paint job and pay attention to detail. It is also very clean and sanitary, so important when getting your nails done. I've tried many Manhattan locations but none offer the quality of Reedchy. I started my pedicure at 620pm and it was taking a while to dry and my nail technician used the dryer on my pedicure while we finished my mani. I felt so bad because the mani was still not done after 8p ( their closing time) so the owner and technician had to stay late to help me fully dry. But they didn't rush me and were very helpful making sure I didn't smudge like helping me with my shoes and bags. Reedchy is the best in NYC and I wish they opened a location in Manhattan read more

This nail salon is absolutely horrible. Ive seen her reply to one review which was a total lie. I can agree they forced to pay tips and she is completely lying. When I called I called and asked for French tips which is quite obvious I'm talking about acrylics, They did it with nail polish. I could've done this at home I even went up to the desk asking if there gonna do acrylics, not to mention the fact that it wasn't even French tips it was a full on line, it looked like dirt was in my nail tips.I can do these at home with a 5 minute tutorial. They even forced us to pay tips, but yet she's on here lying on how tipswere optional?? Yeah this is a horrible nail salon $110 for nail polish is diabolical,I couldn't recommend it here. Also the nail Polish didn't even last a hour it peeled the second I walked out , it's horrible. And wendy u still have the audacity to go on here reply to a comment lying ,just shows on how much of a horrible salon this is , I want my money back. I didn't pay for nail polish OR FOR IT TO EVEN COME OFF WITIN A HOUR. Don't go here not recommended read more

They were nice enough to fit me in but wow - more expensive than many other salons and my pedicure is really terrible. The gel manicure was good (though pricey) but also didn't cover my entire nail and is a little lumpy/too thick. You know when a tech doesn't apply the polish all the way up to your cuticles and you walk out with a fresh mani that looks like it is a week old? I just paid way too much for that, plus truly bad lopsided and extremely messy toes. The way she cut my toenails is strange and the two feet have different shaped nails now, plus very objectively sloppy polish. I am shocked and frustrated given how much they charge! read more

Saturday 7pm. Solid, clean and modern nail place that offers non-toxic polishes. Lots of colors and brands. Staff is really attentive and takes their time to be thorough. Love how they offer hot tea. Spa pedicure is worth the extra especially in this dry winter. Relaxing atmosphere! The one thing I didn't like was that my aesthetician cut my foot on my toe and heel with the edges of the scrubber and then said the cuts were already there. Clearly, I would have known if they were there prior and they were not. Would come back but would try another girl. With cash you get a slight discount. read more

NOT friendly. Showed up 5 minutes early and they would not let me soak my feet. High pressure on the "up" sale. Next.

Came here for a gel manicure, it chipped within days and they redid my entire manicure for free. 5/5 star customer service. I will be back! I've also gotten a pedicure at the downtown studio and had a great experience read more

Reedchy Nail & Spa - Milky white - Nail Salons Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Reedchy is a great neighborhood nail salon with a hip vibe and reasonable prices. I always call ahead for an appointment, and I'm almost always able to make one same day at the time I want. It's super clean, the manicurists are easy to communicate with, and they have a reasonable color selection. So why not 5 stars you ask? -They only do regular and gel manicures. I WISH they did SNS powder also. -Mani/pedis are usually great, but can also be hit or miss depending on your manicurist. -I wish they carried OPI (not a huge deal). Overall, I'm thankful Reedchy is in my hood and will continue to enjoy my pedicures here. I'll be awaiting the opportunity to update my review if/when they get SNS powder! read more

This salon never disappoints! I called last minute for a Gel Mani a bit over an hour before closing and they accommodated my appointment without hesitation. The young lady working on my nails did such a great job & did my nails exactly how I like them! I stopped coming here due to moving into Manhattan when they first opened. Now that I'm back in BK, they definitely have as a regular customer now! Definitely recommend. read more

I've only been here twice and I'm already the duchess?! LOL. My girlfriend brought me here for a pedicure treat an I'm glad she did. I'm digging the minimalistic ambience of this place. Reedchy Nail & Spa - Galentines Mani! Whitney did a good job - Nail Salons Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

This place is pretty mediocre. I came in for a mani-gel pedi for my trip. I will say the shop is pretty clean so they get 3 stars instead of 2. They take your temperature at the door and ask you to sanitize your hands, major plus. What I didn't like is that I booked a specific person online and was not given the person I booked. I can tell the person that did my mani and pedi was just starting out. She pretty much rushed through my pedicure. I'm a runner so I like for them to do a good job since I'm always on my feet. It's crazy how pricey it is for the job that they do. read more

Your not so typical nail salon and much more modern. They pride themselves on a clean and modern spa. The pedicure chairs are benches with cushions, and their pedicure sinks are actual marble sinks. They have a variety of polishes, including gel, and depending on the type of polish you get the price varies. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and the total was $78. It's a bit more expensive than your usual spot. But the place was clean and the nail technicians paid attention to the tiniest detail. I love the little gloves they keep on your hands during the manicure that moisturize and soften your hands. read more

Reedchy Nail & Spa - French gel mani - Nail Salons Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I have come here two times already. What i truly appreciate abt this location is that every time i send a message for an appointment via yelp they always respond within 5 min and there is always something available near the time i requested. I have only received pedicure services here and both times i have consistently been pleased with the quality of my pedi. A basic pedi is 31.50 and cash tip only. They charge 3 bucks extra for no eco friendly polishes. read more

I just moved to Tulsa and decided to visit Sweet Mia (south Tulsa) and I am so glad that I did!!! I got the Citrus Pedicure which includes a shoulder & scalp massage: Cost French manicure64 & Time 50 minutes! It was absolutely AMAZING!!! It is hard to explain but their massage chairs (they vibrate only) lean back to where you are laying flat and your legs and feet bent outward while they massage your legs & feet, shoulders and scalp! It felt wonderful!!! For my manicure I got the Bio Sculpture Manicure!! Cost French manicure55 & Time 45 minutes! It also includes a hand & arm massage! I loved this manicure because they don't remove your cuticles and they don't use the drills to shape! It was nice! They also don't add extensions/fake nails to this type of manicure so it will be your natural nails! I have never been to a natural nail spa that uses non-toxic products and I have to say that I am impressed! There were no harsh chemical smells AT ALL and was just a very pleasant experience! San took care of my nails and toes and she did AMAZING!!! She took her time to really take care of me and make sure that my nails and toes looked fantastic!! Heads up!! There are a couple of differences than going to a regular nail spa! Bring your own drink! They do not offer soda or wine! They do have a water dispenser though! Honestly, it's not a big deal because since you are laying back for half of your pedicure, you won't be able to sip on anything anyway! Also, they do your manicures and pedicures separately and not at the same time like a lot of spas do now so just make sure you give yourself enough time to be there!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY EXPERIENCE!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SAN AND SWEET MIA!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!! Services Pedicure, Manicure read more

Wonderful gel manicure! My normal place couldn't fit me in for an appointment so I found Reedchy via Yelp! They got me an appointment fast and they were so nice. The gel manicure is $45 which is a bit pricey but the service was amazing. I enjoyed hot tea and got to wear gloves with moisturizer. They also had a large variety of gel colors. My nail technician, Milly, did an amazing job. The place was very clean and everything was packaged in sterilization bags. If the price was a bit lower I would probably come back more often but I will definitely come here for those weeks where I decide to "treat myself" read more

This location is NOT wheelchair accessible like they say. I made an appointment and even included in the notes that I use a wheelchair. But when I showed up for my appointment, there's a huge step to get inside that is absolutely not wheelchair accessible. I couldn't even get inside for my appointment and had to leave. It's humiliating to have these experiences and unfair to customers to promise something so simple that you still don't deliver. A small, inexpensive, portable ramp would fix this problem immediately. read more

Reedchy Nail & Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Just to update my review. I had reached out to Wendy and she told me they guarantee gel manicure for 7 days. I did go in on Saturday and Wendy evaluated my nails and said the nail bed was soft and that is why the polish didn't stay and peeled off. She replaced 7 nails (by Saturday 7 were all chipped) and used a hot gel base coat. She said I shouldn't use gel manicure and get a regular manicure. So far nothing has chipped. read more

Reedchy Nail & Spa - This is a gel manicure just barely 6 days old. - Nail Salons Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Got a pedicure done here, but honestly it looked like i did it myself. Did not look polished or professional. You can see the clear gel was only painted on half of the nail. Sloppy cuticles. Just not a professional job. Gave two stars because they are clean and the color didn't chip. But i wouldn't come back. read more

This is a sophisticated and chic salon that validates the cost. The salon is considered to be non-toxic as they use high quality/clean polishes and care about the health of your nails as well as the appearance. When I get my mani's here, whether its gel or regular polish my nails always look healthy once the mani wears off. However, one thing I do not prefer is that they use a mini drill to remove the gel polish. My personal preference is to use a nail file... But 98% of the time I have my nails or toes done here the work is flawLESS, regardless of how short my nails might be. (And they always do exactly what I ask, so if I ask for square; they give me square not squoval) I've had a couple mani's where the nail polish chipped the next day, hence the 98%. Still this is a fairly great salon in a convenient location. (5 min or less walk from Bergen St. station, and maybe 15 min from Atlantic Terminal) Also, the employees are extremely nice, especially the woman at the register, I'm not sure of her name or what her exact title is but she provides such an amazing customer experience to everyone that walks in...One of the reasons I keep coming back, and also something I deem hard to find in Nyc nail salons. This salon has just a very calm and soothing feel to it that I really appreciate. The mani and pedi seats are super soft and comfortable, unlike some salons that put you in a chair that you can't even comfortably lean back in. Another thing: they take covid very seriously, so when you walk in they will spray the bottom of your shoes, check your temperature, and make sure you sanitize. You should definitely make an appointment before you go in, and I do prefer this location over the 5th ave salon. Actually, I love this salon! read more

Updated review. I find the manager picks favorites in terms of regulars or just even customers. I don't get the same treatment of being a loyal patron, I'm disregarded. This salon is so cute, and very clean. Other then that their work is garbage and it was the worst manicure /pedicure I have ever received. the nail tech had NO IDEA what she was doing, but man did she try for 2 hours. I give her credit she did put effort. The "spa" pedicure was nothing more then her opening an individual packet of lavender lotion and using that... nothing spa like about it... not worth the upcharge. My toe nails are all different shapes, there is nail polish all around my toe nails, I can't wear sandals with a pedicure like this. My gel nails chipped within 5 days... ALL 10 NAILS chipped within 5 days. They were bubbly by day 2. My nail shape/length was inconsistent, my cuticles are raggedy looking, and I was cut on at least 3 nails, without even acknowledgment. A waste of $90. I will never return and encourage others to not be duped by the pretty esthetics. read more

Went here for gel manicure and gel removal. Terrible service and very overpriced given the quality. $15 just to remove a gel manicure (most places it is complementary), and then they harass you if you do not pay in cash. The staff is also incredibly rude. Strongly do not recommend. read more

I really like this place. It's really clean and quiet. All the ladies are very considerate. The polish selection is really nice. It kind of gives me Ruchki da Nozhki vibes without the hefty price tag. The pedicure was very meticulously done. I think Bella was the girl that helped me out and she did a great job. She also added in a minute shoulder massage at the end of my pedicure just for shits and it was the best thing ever. read more

This was one of the best gel manicures I've received in NYC. The place is clean and modern and the staff is very friendly. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment and they happily took me. Claudia was so meticulous and patient with me when I didn't like the first color I chose. She took her time and didn't rush through it like at other places. I also love that they don't try to up sell you or hide prices like other salons. At they end they give you a little card with your color on it and tell you to come back if you have a chip! I love this. The gel mani was $45 and so worth it! read more

Reedchy Nail & Spa - Gel Manicure $47 with tax - Nail Salons Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Super clean and definitely a gorgeous nail studio but my gels started chipping after four hours. For $45+tax/tip that is 100% Unacceptable. It also doesn't make sense that a manicure is $15, gel additional is $20, but a gel manicure is $45? I digress - you'll have the same amount of luck with gels with a much less expensive place. The staff was nice at least. Edit: Went back for a fix and it was dull. Came back for another fix and it was looking amazing. It wound up peeling again after about 4 hours. Edit again: nails are still chipping like crazy and it's only 3 days later. Will NEVED be going back and will be requesting a refund. I got these nails for vacation and had to take them off because they looked so bad. read more
