I have received two services here. What I like about this location is it quiet, clean and they do a great job. I had a pedicure and nail buffing and also brow waxing. They treat you very nicely and they explain the differences between the services. Even the people that come into the salon look nice and all the employees are clean and professional read more

I usually get good manicures from here but today I asked for square and the person couldn't do it at all it also took 3 hours for a pedicure and gel nails it was insane. I am not sure what shape that even is round/squareish? read more

Staff was very nice however, I paid $136.50 before tax for gel removal and builder gel manicure. Two days after one of my nails chipped all the way off. I had it fixed and then a few days later, another two chipped. Nails at this price point should not last less than 1 week. read more

Jen was really professional and did a great job on my nails that needed help. They took me as a walk-in and glad they did.

I go to Reedchy for spa pedicures and shoulder/neck massages. All the nail aestheticians are good and friendly. And there are quite a few who are VERY strong and give great shoulder/neck massages. They have a good selection of colors. I usually get the Dazzle Dry which is extra but dries very quickly, so I'm less likely to ruin my nails walking home. I've never had an infection. The people who work there don't look miserable like they don in a few other shops. read more

Ada absolutely killed it! I've never seen such a perfect manicure. She recommended the perfect shade of nude/pink, and took so much care to give me a flawless French. All gel, my own nails! Also, the spa itself is very nice, the music is quiet and instrumental, the place is very clean, and the benches are padded and comfortable. read more

Reedchy is definitely the nicest nail salon in Park Slope. They take appointments, and appointments start on time (other salons in this and surrounding neighborhoods pretend to take appointments but still treat appointment holders as walk-ins as of the time they walk in). This salon is spotless and offers brands of polish I haven't seen elsewhere, including Kur and Dazzle Dry. The latter was promoted to me as something that doesn't chip for two weeks and lasts longer than Essie Gel Couture, and the claims have held up. They no longer carry Chanel polish, so BYO Chanel. I will definitely be back. read more

I wanted to love Reedchy like most and was hopeful that I'd found a new nail salon within walking distance, but unfortunately the search must continue. For what would've been a $40 gel manicure (without the $10 off for new customers promo) my nails chipped a sad 4 days later. The edges were bubbling on day 2 and the polish on my right index finger completely fell off as the tips on the other nails all began to chip. It hasn't even been a week which is insane. The pedicure wasn't much better as it was smudged after removing my shoes and not the neatest work. I think quick dry should be standard and baked in to the price. Can't say I'll return and definitely not for $40 dollar polish job that won't last me til the end of the week. read more

Peaceful, clean, and consistent. The women working here are all lovely. They take their time, which is why my pedicures and manicures always look immaculate. This was a walk in and I am glad we did. From the front desk reception this I had a good experience. I brought my daughter for a mani -pedi so I'm very cautious about where I take her. The salon is very clean. The staff is really nice. The music was jazzy and perfect for a relaxing mani pedi. My and my daughter's nails were beautiful. I will gladly come back here. read more

Service is always on point! I went this week for a gel manicure & regular pedicure. They check your temp, sanitize you're hands and bottom of shoes before you enter. At the end I was a little thrown off by the 2.00 extra Charge for cleaning services. They should let all of their customers know ahead of time, and weather it's when you call to make an appt or on their online appt booking. But I besides that little hiccup overall I was so happy they we're open again! read more

I've been here before for a regular manicure but yesterday I decided to get a gel manicure. The service was stellar and I was blown away by how many precautions the business was taking to protect the clients and staff during COVID-19. Not only did they take a survey for screening (cough, fever, etc.), I got my temperature taken (forehead device), was given hand sanitizer, and the bottom of my shoes were sprayed. At each desk, there's a plexiglass separating the manicurist and the customer. Of course everyone wore masks. Really awesome effort!!!! The gel manicure was excellent. Tina took her time working on my nails with the utmost care and attention to detail. She was very nice. read more

This is a very popular salon in my neighborhood. I was first curious to visit last year when I walked by and saw how cute the interior was. No one really mentions how important a spa like atmosphere is in a neighborhood nail salon. I was not used to getting my nails done when I first started going to Reedchy a year ago. I will not say that my regular polish mani's have been perfect but I decided to still give them another try recently wen I needed a monthly pedi (regular) and gel removal and gel mani. Rosa did my mani and pedi and she was wonderful. She applied my gel removal foils during my pedi and was thorough with scrubbing my feet (I'm an athlete so I am on my feet a lot and need it) especially being that it's the winter and my skin is drier than usual I was surprised how well she did with my pedi. I've been to other salons in the neighborhood and they did not do as well. I also found Reedchy to have a nice atmosphere. Even though it's a busy salon (clients always walking in asking for appointments) it did not feel chaotic and felt relaxing instead. FINALLY a salon that doesn't play loud pop music and music videos when I'm trying to relax for once. I came in with my nails long so she could shape them and she did a great job. Onto my gel mani. I grew out my nails and a few of them were cut down due to breaking. She offered to glue one of my nails that could be saved and I was relieved about that. Overall she was very precise and speedy. I've had quite a few gel manis and some have chipped on me or I've noticed tiny details that were missed. Rosa did a perfect job and I've never gotten this many compliments on my nails. Reedchy's prices are very affordable and the staff is really wonderful and friendly. I like that they have Been very consistent with sanitation and temp checks all throughout the pandemic and have never stopped. The only thing is they removed the plastic dividers which I really think is a smart decision because when they were up it made the salon feel small and stuffy (and dividers don't do anything for COVID transmission really). Will definitely be back to Reedchy! read more

$24 for a STANDARD MANICURE??? Are you f-ing kidding me? Get real. My fancy SoHo nail salon charges $16 and quick dry is included! Plus my manicurist caused me to bleed while cutting my cuticles. Never again. Plenty of reasonably priced nail salons in Park Slope who do a fantastic job for almost $10 less. Try Origin Nails on 7th. read more

Wonderful gel manicure (Kitty is awesome)! NOTE: Cash tip only Came here around lunch time without an appointment and didn't have to wait. Chose my color and Kitty went to work on my nails. She was meticulous and detailed with each step. She even made sure all of my nails were the same length, which was something I've never encountered before. She also soaked my hands in these keratin gloves throughout the manicure, which get weird but actually is great for hands & nails, so it was a nice touch. The gel was $39 without tax or tip and they have an iPad for credit cards which for some reason makes me happy :) They also handed me their card with my nail polish color & Kitty's name so I can come back to get any fixes done as needed FREE of charge. read more

This is honestly the BEST experience I have had at a nail salon. The girls are so sweet and nice, the place is very clean and they are on top of Covid by checking everyone temperature, having you sanitizer your hands, and they spray a disinfectant mist on the bottom of your shoes. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and I got exactly what I wanted but not only that, I was happy that they really took the time to do my nails nice and was very thoroughly done. Great selection of polish, including Deborah Lippmann gel color which is my favorite. Very clean with modern decor. They have Gelish, Perfect Match, and Shellac. Limited OPI colors though. Their regular pedicure really does not compare to the other salons in the area. Maybe it was the person I got, but it took 20 minutes max and was very basic. I had powder gel on and it cost $15 to soak off. I don't understand how the regular gel soak off price was half as much. The lady explained that "it's thicker and harder" as the reason and she seemed pretty surprised when it came off easily after my pedicure. Might return for basic manicures in the future. read more

I made the mistake of going to the wrong location for my appointment on a Monday morning and I'm so glad I did. I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. What an exceptional experience in the Big Apple. I must say you can't judge a city by its reputation. My husband is born and raised in Manhattan and me being a Chicago girl I understand the hustle and bustle which really is no compare to NY as the population is quadruple. I searched for a nearby nail salon on Yelp while in my hotel room and several popped up with great reviews which promoted me to actually look at the photos and read some reviews to narrow it down. This place Won so I took an Uber over and was immediately greeted by Wendy (the manager I believe). She was very nice and welcoming and relayed the message of a pedi and gel mani to Kitty who was my nail tech as I looked over the colors and there are hundred I tell you to choose from. I was lead back to the pedicure bowl by Kitty & we began to talk which is always nice when you get to learn and stare life with a stranger which builds one network. My pedicure (spa pedicure ) was EVERYTHING & then some. The massage was sooo good I tell you and Kitty paid close attention to my toe nails and I like the timer process where the tech turn the knob to 5mins to inform her when she is done with the massage. Next up Kitty helped me up and escorted me to the table for a mani. The back massage that accompanies the mani as well as the hand and arm massage was AMAZING. I absolutely adore that the tech give you a card and say "This is my card, if your nail chips within a week I can help you just come back with this card and have it repaired FREE of charge". That's cool they provide a guarantee on your gel polish :-) read more

On the way home from the office I've been watching this location transform from the cycle studio to a nail salon in about a weeks time. As I peeked in a day earlier, I decided to stop in the next day if they were open and try them out. To my delight, the next afternoon I stopped in for the grand opening and I was told that the full salon would be open on June 1 but the manicures were free for the next couple of days. Awesome! I received a complimentary mani with Chanel, loves it.. The price list is a bit more than the other less attractive salons nearby but if the pedi is as meticulous as my mani I'm officially a regular. 5th avenue was in need of a higher end nail salon, and now we have it. read more

Clean and professional would come back here again prices aren't bad at all and they strive to give you the best possible service.

Finally, I found a nail salon that is SANITARY! You can see the employees cleaning the tools after each customer. There are many sets so the ones recently cleaned have time to dry. My friend and I came in for a manicure. Very nice place with relaxing music. Not that many shades of polish to pick from but you can still find a color close to what you wanted. The employees are very professional. They don't gossip about customers in another language. Manicure lasted over a week! Polish is not chipping. read more

Had my gel manicure with Mandy. I walked in with long natural nails, asked for a little trim and to keep the shape (square, no rounding of the corners). Mindy was pleasant, she gave me a nice little back rub, but other than that I have nothing positive to say about my experience. The end work looks really sloppy, and my nail shape was completely changed. I'm upset. Will never come here again and I recommend you to stay away. read more

Nice service, great music! I got a gel removal and basic manicure with color. Always a good start when the owner doesn't pressure you to get a gel or high priced service. Average time spent for a relaxing visit; didn't feel rushed or like they were taking their time at all - just perfect and focused timing. I ended up getting a nice and relaxing 10 min massage which was very affordable after my manicure (I'm glad cause I hate drying wait time) I had one technician / masseuse for my entire services which was consistent. Seems like they do it all! The space is clean and modern, simple and comfortable. Overall experience for a first time visitor was great. Pricing was very affordable for my basic services; I can definitely see myself returning! read more

The gel manicures last and they are clean. However, I had a pedicure done today and they wanted to charge me $18 just to change the color (after I realized the color didn't match my manicure) I've been to several nail salons and they've never charged me to change just the color if I wasn't satisfied with it. Wackkkkkk! I asked for a simple red french and a blood drop design and was told it could be done before we even got started. After the nail tech tried over ten times to do and redo a blood drop design, I asked her if she was sure she could do it and then she told me no. I asked if anyone else could try it and she said I would have to wait 30 minutes if I wanted someone else and that she was the one who does all of their designs. I was still charged $90 for nails with no design at all not even a french, just plain white nails!!!!! Literally $30 just to have her take my old acrylics off with a damn metrocard, like goodbye. It will be disputed, just trynna save anyone who thinks they can get a "fancier" design from them. Dont go ya'll not worth the scam!! read more
