The staff is friendly and precise in their work, and you can usually walk in and get a mani pedi or massage right away. They can be a bit pushy with upgrading your services with packages, quick dry polish, and other extras. read more

The woman cut my nails down without asking and made them a terrible shape. She then made three fingers bleed, and didnt even take off the old polish so you can still see it. She not only charged full price despite this, but charged me for my previous dip removal as well which they normally do not to. See photos for before and after. I'm mad because it was such a terrible experience every time. The first time they insisted on doing my mani and pedi at the same time... which would be understandable if I came in right before closing, or they were super busy or something... but there was no one else there when I got there, shortly after they opened... and then they began rushing me (and being rough while rushing me) so they could take the 3 girls who walked in together while I was suffering thru the most painful and unsanitary pedicure of my life. They don't even put a towel down - they make you put your feet directly on the thing... if you're lucky they put one paper towel down (select a size panel - not even a full paper towel). SO NASTY. Then they were scraping off my old gel manicure (while I was getting my pedicure), and let all the shavings fall on my black pants (a towel would have been appropriate here, too). Then, I shit you not, she starts to brush the shavings off my pants, and has to brush several times... so she rubs the shavings into my pants, which then had white and red shit all over them, and I had to go home and change my pants, after I was finally out of this hellscape... and my pants? RUINED They also upsold me "quick dry" for my toes... I was wearing sandals so it wasn't even really needed, but I was taking extra precautions... later, they wrapped my toes in plastic wrap with the oil, which should have been one final safety precaution, and assured a smooth pedi... but when I got home I realized my pedicure was smudged to hell anyway... WHAT QUICK DRY? They either blatantly lie about it and sell you regular top coat... and/or their supplies are fake/tampered with. NO EXCUSE I hate them, I actually hate them. I only went back 2 other times because I was desperate for a quick manicure that's close to my place... painful and disgusting conditions every time. They only ruined my pants once... but that's enough for me -- NEVER AGAIN. 10 Colors is one the cheapest in the hood for a reason -- stay the F*CK away. read more

I have given this place many chances. It's close to my home and the prices are not as steep as some of the other salons around me. I have bled from one of the manicurists being too aggressive. He was apologetic but it was still a painful mess. The lack of cleanliness is also a concern. I got a pedicure and my feet rested on a folded paper towel the entire service. The tech would drench it in the foot bath and use it to clean the area and my legs every once in a while. They also charge an extra 20$(!!) for gel even though It isn't specifically noted anywhere in the salon or menu Overall if you need somewhere reasonably priced in the area don't go here as you will probably be disappointed. :( read more

I saw how convenient this new place was to where I live, and how it was another one of the couple of nail salons on Dekalb in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene area. Thus, I desired to take a visit. I went to get my routine eyebrows and upper lip wax last night. The place was very small, which was expected of a newly opened place in New York City. I was not brought to a separate room for my waxing and instead had to rely on a portable chair at the end of the salon. Again, it was a new place and I did see a couple of doors in the back. I hoped clients who were waxing more private areas had to go in one of those rooms. The worker who did my service cleaned me up nice. However at the end of my service, she asked for a tip. That left a bad taste in my mouth. Tips are supposed to be earned. I felt like she cared more about money that the well-being of her customer. The work she did was an average outcome I could have received anywhere else. I could have had that and more respectful service on Myrtle Ave. read more

I got acrylics and they are the worst I've ever gotten. The ladies talk shit about you in Chinese. lady says she's been doing nails for 20 years, but is still horrible at shaping nails. Great salon! Walked in on a Friday afternoon for a basic mani/pedi and they saw me right away. Super sweet and quick and did an amazing job. just moved to the area and was excited to check this place out. i made an appointment for 11am once i got there, all of the nail techs were busy. this happens sometimes so i was okay with it. they asked me to sit outside bc the small space was packed. after 20 minutes of sitting outside, i went in to ask how much longer and was told another 30 minutes. completely defeating the purpose of making an appointment. i was really hoping to have a great experience and become a regular at this place. i cannot speak for the actual work itself but i can say DO NOT COME HERE unless you have time to waste. read more

Had a perfectly pleasant experience here--I called in the morning to make an appointment for that evening, and when I arrived I was promptly taken. I had asked for a gel French manicure with rainbow tips on the phone, and the nail technician let me pick out the colors I wanted. She quickly chose a nice base color. It took about an hour from start to finish, and the nail technician even helped me choose a different purple when the polish I chose was too light.
