I have been coming here for about 5 years now consistently ( they used to have a different location before moving here ) The reason I come back here is because of the high quality , price , cleanliness and efficiency. Monica is the best, she knows exactly how to do your lashes the way you ask her to. She's very quick and it's always quality . My lashes always come out so beautiful and hands down you can't beat this quality and price anywhere in NYC. I almost always request a cat eye here which Monica does perfectly. I do suggest to call and book an appointment. I travel about 2hrs to get here but it's defintley always worth it! Thank you Monica for always doing a terrific job! This review is defintley overdue! Wow! Really loving my lashes from Brow n' Lash. The last time I got eyelash extensions was 3 years ago, and I had a reaction to the chemicals in the glue that the tech used. I'll admit I was slightly traumatized by this experience so I resorted to the occasional strip lash. I finally decided to give this local spot a try and I'm really happy I did. After reading the reviews and checking out the customer photos, I decided to make an appointment and was taken promptly at that time. I went with the wispy lashes and 13/14 length which is perfect for those with bigger eyes. My lash tech was awesome. I was in and out in under an hour which is pretty incredible. I have a friend that recommended me to this place for my lashes. My previous lash spot was too far and the lashes would get scarce very quickly, even though it was more affordable. I've been doing my lashes for at least 3 years. This place, although they don't offer packages does a fabulous job. They even clean your lashes before applying new ones! I've been getting my lashes done on and off since 2017. I was a loyal customer at shop in midtown east until the pandemic. I rarely go to manhattan anymore so I decided to try this place recommended by a former coworker. The lashes here are less expensive than what i'm used to and the shop is no frills. I liked how Amy did my lashes but I didn't like how red my eyes would get after. They switched me to Monica and i liked how she did my lashes too but the problem is they barely last two weeks. I know how to care for my lashes as I have been getting them since 2017 and I am used to them lasting at least 2 weeks before any significant fall out. The last two times I went here within a month, my lashes barely lasted a week. Monica continued to say it was only me who has this issue and implied there was something i did. This was upsetting because I haven't done anything different from what i've done all these years. I was charged for a full set the first time I came back after a week& she tried to charge me again 2 weeks later but reduced the price to $80 which is still more than the 3 week price. Those lashes barely lasted a week so I gave up going here & found another shop. If you want your lashes to last don't go here. read more

My girlfriend saw Brow N Lashes opened up recently and one of her friends said they do a pretty good job so my girlfriend made an appointment to get microblading last week. She always wanted to get it done, but was hesitant because she wasn't sure about how painful it was. We called and Monica reassured her it would be fine. She explained the process of how it would work and we booked it for the following evening. We arrived past the business hours but Amy was very sympathetic of our situation and very professional. She painlessly microbladed my girlfriend's eyebrows and they came out amazing. She loved it! She plans on getting her lashes done here next time too. My lashes lasted me for ~ 1 month without having to fill them and that's pretty impressive for someone who gets sweaty running 30+ miles a week! I got my eyebrows micro-bladed by Amy! Amazing prices!! She did such a great job of making sure I liked the shape of it and took her time with the whole process. I had previous eyebrow tattoos, she was able to go over my old brows and help me draw a new shape that matched my face and made it look natural. Had my eyebrows done two weeks ago. My procedure was called an Ombré. It took three hours to apply. I was pleased with the initial outcome however the after care instructions were not made clear. I was given an envelope with several sterile vials of saline and some gauze pads to apply along with neosporin . After the third day I ran out of saline and went back to ask for more. I was told I didn't need the saline to just continue to apply (moisturize) with neosporin. I have now developed an allergic reaction to continued use of neosporin! My eye lids were swollen, inflamed and itchy!! I went to my ophthalmologist and he diagnosed my neosporin allergic reaction. The staff should be clear about the aftercare of this process. I would not go back. read more
