So far, thanks to her facials, peel and laser procedures I got rid of terrible breakouts I had all over my face. When arriving, they said they don't take Groupon anymore because they switched management. "The old manager canceled the Groupon account." They said I can contact Groupon with this number, which didn't work. They tried to call for me but the number wasn't even the right number. They kept insisting that they will give me a good deal instead of helping me to get my money back from Groupon. They also said I can call the old owner and ask them to help. Basically I was left there to work on this issue myself. They didn't even apologize. Also they didn't speak English. I had to speak to them in Mandarin. Horrible management.

If it doesn't hurt perhaps nothing is coming out. I had no bruising and my noise was softer than a newborn baby. And my interactions with the managerial team was excellent. If you have any problems, I'm sure the manager will rectify them and honor your feedback. Yelp is the last place you should grumble. I've had some subpar 60-minute facials, and the aestheticians still weren't able to expunge all of my pores. Most likely because I had to rev up my routine at home. As for the rodents, this is NYC and there's so much construction on Smtih St and I wouldn't want to live downtown period. I hope the issue was solved. At least some mouse traps. I purchased a groupon bundle for a colonic, massage for colonic (not sure why that is a separate…read moreservice), and aN ionic foot detox. So I call to book and everything is fine. They give me a follow up call the day before my service to tell me that they will charge me an additional $10 for a cleaning fee for the colonic. The esthetician was nice and made things comfortable. Now on to the ionic foot detox: I go in the other room that has a plastic lined foot-basin on the ground in front of a chair. The same woman hooks me up to the machine, shows me the basics and leaves (no issue with her at all). There is a microwave in the room. There's no evaluation of the colors given by the esthetician, just the paper sHe handed me. The machine had an attachment that was wrapped around my wrist and it burned me. I mentioned it to the esthetician when she came back in the room. She checked the machine; it said error, so she re-strapped me and pressed some buttons. She didn't take me seriously when I mentioned being burned aNd went on to explain electric currents. At the end of the session which was cut short my 7 minutes I see the burn on my skin, show here and she says sorry. Now I'm checking out, I mention the burn to the receptionist and she doesn't even acknowledge it. Not going back. I recommend that they offer wipes to clients after foot detox and not just paper towels. Also never expected to be BURNED.

The studio is located near Sunset Park, which is a little far for me, but I gladly make the trip every month to get microneedling done. I have pitted acne scars on my cheeks that I have spent yeeeeearsss trying to get rid of and tried microneedling before at another studio with minimal results, so I decided to try it again. The studio itself is very clean and quiet since it's not located on the Main Street. For your first appointment, they ask you what kind of results you are looking for and do a quick skin analysis. I was told that I would only need 2 (!!) microneedling sessions to get decent results so I was excited since I was expecting at least 5 sessions. If you have sensitive skin like me, you can ask them to use a stronger numbing cream for the microneedling session. I highly recommend getting a stronger numbing cream even if you don't have sensitive skin because it does kind of hurt after a while. My skin looks so much better after just 2 sessions but I'm planning to schedule one last session after summertime! Prices are also very reasonable here - I would definitely come back for a massage in the future.
