I'm very happy and it was well worth the cost! The only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is that for me personally, the procedure was quite painful which I was not prepared for. That being said, for many people, it's a breeze and really easy, so most likely it had something to do with my body's reaction to some of the numbing medication. It's something to maybe ask about during the consultation.

Nadia is fantastic! Actually, the entire staff is great!…read more I come to Yukie to get my nails done and was offered a gift card to their medispa upstairs the last time I was there for a manicure. I decided to book a consultation since I used to get Botox in my masseter (great treatment for TMJ!). They were able to squeeze me in and on the day of my appointment I filled out some paperwork and was on my way to meet with Nadia. Nadia was honest but not pushy whatsoever. She explained how the whole face works together so by putting Botox in my jaw again it would also affect other parts of my face. Overall, she gave me a facial anatomy lesson in 20 minutes. Since we had time I decided to have her perform my treatment right then and there. She was quick, it wasn't painful at all, and I was in and out in under an hour. The prices are fair and they do not try to push you to do anything you're not comfortable doing. My jaw feels great since my treatment and I have the added perk of no more lines in parts of my face.

Just one word of advice that applies only to Gilt customers: the facial you're buying is supposed to be 75min (check her website for treatment time for the deep cleansing facial that costs $110) but my actual treatment time was 45min. So, it's not really "discounted". She reminds you at check out that tip is not included and the voucher suggests that you tip on the total value of $110 which is the full price of the 75 min facial, not the 45 min facial I received. So, it's not really a "deal" after all.

In hopes of kickstarting my gym routine, I decided to get an emsculpt package from Groupon. This time it was a two body part two sessions. No hidden fees or anything. You pay the Groupon and you get it, but to be honest, just call them. Save yourself the time of going through a third party. They will honor the Groupon rate. This place is so close to my apartment so it was so convenient to go there. I technically was not allowed to do my waist and torso as part of the package, but Marissa let is happen. I just had to pay $20 more. Speaking of Marissa, let me just tell you how attentive and sweet she is. She checked in on me the entire time to make sure I was comfortable and she kept me company while I was in the facility for an hour. My last session, I had a very difficult day at work. I unintentionally let my entire feelings spill out and the poor lady had to deal with my personal problems. However, she gave me great insight and comforted me a great deal. Talk about full service. I don't normally go to the same facility for emsculpting because I want to try out different places and see what I like best, but this may be the best so far. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Marissa :) For those considering emsculpt, check this place out. Especially if you live in the area.

When my primary esthetician in other place was out of commission for a while, I needed my favorite hydrafacial urgently & this place looked promising thanks to their "heavy " marketing via social media. But they did not offer the particular service so I just picked a service that seemed identical. Once I stepped in to the spa, there was no one but a lone esthetician who led me to " one" of the rooms right next to a huge advertising poster with the Hydrafacial! So I questioned- why the advertisement if they did not offer the service? She said that the advertisement was for another spa who shared the space with Kas! The space appeared to be shared with two or three other different spa owners, understandably, considering the high cost of the rent in Manhattan but I was used to be greeted by a receptionist, water, or tea, in a serene spa space where I could wait & relax, not a space with a few different spas. Kas was occupying one tiny room sharing the space and I was not comfortable with the concept after prepayment of $250.00 for one-hour service. Albeit I did like the esthetician ,who left the spa already , I had never returned. I went back to my primary esthetician who had returned to the spa since. The space, two stars. The service 3.5 stars . The cost, the same as the rest of others in Madison Avenue.
