He listened to my concerns and made me feel extremely comfortable with the procedure. He ultimately did an excellent job and helped me get a very natural result with little downtime. Dr Miller is an absolutely genius at what he does. He understands balancing the facial features, and his first priority is to keep things natural looking and safe! The best test I can give to his skill is that I told my family I had a rhinoplasty and when I saw them 6 months later they didn't even notice. It wasnt that there wasn't a huge difference there was. If you want a tummy tuck with your navel off center, (like an alien, or something?), then go ahead and let this dr. miller do the surgery for you. I won't even mention the dog ears on the sides, that I mentioned to him and he just sweared that he doesn't see anything wrong. He also yelled at his assistant, who was in the room. She noticed a lump right near the incision line, and asked me if it hurts. He yelled! "Are you stuuppiddd!!! Looked like he wanted to do more than just yell though. Oh, and while your naked and being looked over, that's the opportune time for his surg sales person, (and a couple of other non medical staff too), to come in and starts to harass you about your need for other surgeries to improve your look, because you know, don't look so good, he said. He's not a medical personnel, yet he's in the room with a completely undressed female patient, trying to sell something while the patient is in a very vulnerable position, and humiliates the patient, as is the patient is dumb for not wanting to agree to addtional surgery, right then and there, which he, a non medical personnel, says you obviously need this. He stayed for quite a while haranguing the undressed female patient. Disgusting! Shameful! Not Recommended! Permanent botched surgery, humiliation and intimidation, while the patient is naked, having a high pitch pushy sales proposition, while being ignored by the doctor regarding the actual legitimate concerns of the patient. read more

He told me he would do another small surgery to try to get some results and then emailed said he wont. do a lot of research before you pick a doctor if you notice on his before and afters on Microlifts they look the same and he turns off comments so people can say it. I never write reviews, but I have no choice. I have to express my tremendous dismay and disappointment in this place. Dr. Miller is a fine surgeon and a nice person, but this review is geared towards the medical esthetician Jill Badalamonte, who I recently found out no longer works there...no surprise there. I had scheduled a facial in November of 2021 as my regular facialist was not working at my usual place due to covid. I was familiar with Gotham because of work done previously with Dr. Miller, so I trusted that whoever he hired would be trustworthy. This turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. I had gorgeous, glowing skin that I had worked very hard to get with my regular facialist. When I arrived for my appointment for a facial, Jill says, "well, I actually don't do regular facials...I mean I'll do some extractions, but really I can do something with Laser Genesis to help plump up your collagen..." I trusted her, had come all the way from New Jersey and I thought well I might as well have something done. While she was doing the procedure she commented that my skin was very thick and that my skin "can really take the heat" so she cranked up the frequency....long story short, she completely and permanently burnt my skin. Ever since, I have spent thousands of dollars trying to get this fixed doing everything from peels to microdermabrasion, microneedling...nothing is making it better. When I called the office after some time to see if maybe time would heal it, Jill told me that it must be my skin and that I should have come back to her to see what she could do to fix it. As if I would ever go back to her and trust her with something else. I was able to get back whatever I paid for the treatments but they would not compensate me for all the money I have spent trying to fix this. But, its not about money at this point. I will never get my skin back ,but what I can do is leave a very, very bad and completely true review. I am extremely upset that Dr. Miller did not do a better job of making sure his employee was well trained. She was completely and totally incompetent. Stay away from this woman. She absolutely destroyed my skin. Shame on Gotham for not hiring a competent person. I this review will do enough to teach a lesson to not be so irresponsible with human beings just to make more money. YOU DESTROYED MY FACE- SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. Find another profession Jill. It's taken me what will be four years as of July, 2020 to both move forward with the corrective surgery and stem up the courage too write this review. That said and as elective surgery lifts as of the 15th of May, 2020 (Covid-19); I will be moving forward with my decision to correct what was a botched "Abdominal Etching," surgery performed by Dr. Steinbrech on me. I spent $13k to not only be in a position where I have to have it entirely undone and spend thousands more to do so, but I've also spent the past going on 4 years in embarrassment over my entire abdominal area/back due to both a surgery and Dr. Steinbrech's work. I've suffered in silence for years because I'd be outing myself for having this surgery done and it being made public, but I've endured enough; both mentally and physically due to the post-surgery results not at all being what I wanted nor was anticipating. I'd like to note that I haven't been back to Gotham Plastic Surgery's office since my first post-op appointment where my body brace, etc. were removed. There were ex amount of others leading up to my 1 year date, but due to how both the office and Dr. Steinbrech handled my post-op complications; I no longer felt appreciated for business and I especially did not feel that my safety was any longer their concern/care. Aside, from a lovely nurse whose name I've honestly forgotten at this point, but also would leave out for discretion reasonings. The OR team post-op was both verbally and physically acknowledging of my negative reaction as soon as I woke up from the surgery table; I saw in their faces what I was feeling and it was confirmed by the amount of time I was in recovery (prior to leaving the office). I remained in recovery for hours; due to turning "Green," followed by loosing all body color (entirely white). I threw up 4 times between waking up from surgery and leaving the office before the most unexplainably painful drive home from anywhere in my entire life to date. My healing time for me to be "Back to normal," was three days; which is why I have myself and entire weekend to recover. However, I was physically bedridden for 2 weeks before I could even begin my road to recovery. Those were the scariest two weeks of my life from a physical standpoint. My partner and his mother who aided me back to health; had no, idea what they were in for and there were ex amount of days during those weeks when they nearly had to have me admitted into the ER out of fear of me bleeding to death, etc. The entire office was made aware of the severity of my at home "Recovery," but downplayed it from the moment I wound up in the recovery room at their office. Eventually, as per my request; even the communication between the office them/I and I came to an end as per my request and I never heard from anyone at the office after my initial post-op appointment that is mandatory for the removal of my body brace, etc. Played for a fool, taken both advantage of and for granted; etc. is how I feel to date due to the position I'm currently in. I could write a novel in regards to my experience collectively. But Google only allows four thousand characters per-review. But what I must include as well before I run out of characters is that I've consulted with not only one., but two plastic surgeons offices since then and they've both said that same thing about me having undergone "Botched Surgery." One of which, even stated and I quote; "I can see that the Dr. that did this work was trying to emulate a Colombian Dr.'s work whose known to have started Abdominal Etching, but unfortunately wasn't able to duplicate his expertise. I'd also like too add that the amount of scarring that I have, etc. is not acceptable either and both surgeons agree as well. "Unnecessary amount of drains, too large of drains, sloppy placement, etc." Even more so disheartening for my feelings to be confirmed by other medical professionals, but I look forward to the day I can put this ordeal behind me. read more

Dr Steinbrech is a true perfectionist he takes pride in his work and his patients he will not give you nothing less than 100%. I'm giving four stars for the results of my filler and the Dr that did the procedure. Very likable and I looked very natural. The general staff however is extremely lacking. Reception is ALWAYS rude (Ive been 3x) and a "nurse" asked me too many intrusive questions during my visit, of which had noting to do medically...Wouldn't necessarily stop me from returning, but hopefully upon seeing this review they will have a refresher course on professionalism with the reception especially. read more

My son had a severely deviated septum that had affected his breathing his entire life. I had brought him to see a pediatric ENT when he was around 10 who said corrective surgery had to wait until he stopped growing. Over the years, it got worse with his nose becoming visibly crooked and countless sinus infections. Finally, years later, when he stopped growing, I began researching doctors to perform corrective surgery. My concern was that he needed both an ENT for the septum and a plastic surgeon to make sure his nose was straightened. After quite a bit of research, I came across Dr. Miller of Gotham Plastic Surgery. He is both a board certified ENT and a plastic surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty and septoplasty. His credentials are extensive and exceptional. I immediately scheduled a consultation. Everyone in the office was so nice and accommodating. Dr Miller and his physician's assistant put us at ease and answered all our questions and concerns. I didn't need to look any further and scheduled the surgery on the spot. Because the septoplasty was medically necessary, the office worked with my insurance company to keep my out of pocket costs minimal. The staff were extremely helpful. The surgery went perfect with hardly any bruising, which shows what a skilled and amazing surgeon Dr Miller is. It was a complete success. My son can finally breathe clearly and his nose is straight. I can't say enough good things about Dr Miller and his entire staff. I was interested in hiring Dr. Joseph to do my surgery until I wrote him about the type of cosmetic procedures I wanted. I contacted him through his Playstore app and asked a few questions about the procedures I wanted. In response I got a single, one line, rude response that didn't even remotely address my questions, expectations, health, or anything else. I see no sense in wasting thousands of dollars at a place that treats clients with such a lack of appreciation and respect, particularly since what I want would be multiple procedures with some of them, such as laser treatments, being repeats over the next two years. I'd rather take my money to a surgeon that can communicate with me like a person and cares enough about their reputation and my well-being to address my questions thoroughly and without a rude attitude. read more

I had cool sculpting done on my lower abdomen, and my experience at Gotham was really great. Kaylan performed the procedure on me, and she was extremely pleasant and professional. I assumed that I would need to purchase 2 small areas, but Kaylan told me that 1 small area procedure would work for me. I really appreciated her honesty when she easily could have gone with the more expensive option that I thought I would need.
