After much research I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Paul. I am beyond thrilled with the results. As a fellow medical professional who specializes in esthetics, I am very sensitive to even a millimeter of change. I had a consultation with Dr Paul who works as an associate of Dr. David Rosenberg.. My understanding was that Dr Paul in ADDITION to doing hair transplants, was also board certified as a cosmetic surgeon and performed facial plastic surgery. To be frank Dr Rosenberg's fee was very very high and that Dr Paul as his associate was also qualified to perform the same procedures as Dr Rosenberg but, being an associate, would charge a much lower fee. My close friend, an experienced OR nurse did advise me to consult with other cosmetic surgeons whose work she was familiar with. She was not familiar with Dr Paul's results, only with Dr. Rosenberg's. Her advice was actually the correct advice, but my thinking was when Dr. Rosenberg had a very good reputation that any associate of his would also meet excellent standards of surgical expertise. To be very brief I did have a necklift with Dr Paul. The results were not very satisfactory. . I' then consulted with three other cosmetic surgeons as to what could be done as a revision procedure, because they all agreed the results of the neck lift were not satisfactory. however I decided against a surgical revision (which under my contract with Dr. Paul he was supposed to do with no surgeons fee) because the problem with my neck lift was too much removal of muscle and tissue, which is very difficult to correct. My only other option was to try fillers to even out the very uneven results. I went to an excellent cosmetic surgeon to get fillers to try to even out the hollows etc. in my neck, even though I had to pick up the cost of those fillers. Unfortunately, this is only a temporary fix and as a result, I am left with a less than satisfactory neck lift. My only caveat is to have several consultations with different cosmetic surgeons before deciding on any particular one, and also to pay CLOSE attention to how they advertise their work. In this particular case, dr Paul emphasized hair transplants in his website, although he was indeed, board-certified in facial cosmetic surgery. And many of the reviews I read about him mentioned, excellent hair transplant, results. They did not emphasize neck lifts, facelift, or facial surgery. My advice is research very carefully to whom you are going for any cosmetic surgery and do not assume that because they are the associate of a well-known cosmetic surgeon they will absolutely have the same level of skill. read more

I went to Dr. Paul for a hair loss appointment. He looked at my scalp for a few minutes and told me there was nothing wrong, I'm just young and am worrying too much. He did cut my $300 appointment cost in half because there was "nothing wrong" with me. Since then, I've gone to Dr. Osei-Tutu in BK and she diagnosed me with early AGA, put me on medication, and one year later my hair is growing and thriving. read more

I am convinced Dr. Paul is the greatest plastic surgeon in the world. I went to so many other surgeons for consultations and they were rude, didn't take the time to listen to me, and even told me I shouldn't proceed with rhinoplasty because I am too much of a perfectionist. Dr. Paul on the other hand strives for perfection and actually takes the time to listen and study your nose. He noticed things I didn't even notice myself! I am now three weeks out from surgery and couldn't be happier with my nose, it is truly perfect and everything I wished for. If you're thinking about rhinoplasty I couldn't recommend Dr. Paul enough. Love my Botox results! Having been in a car accident at 14yo and having lost sensation and movement in 2/3 of my forehead I was weary about Botox above my brows where lines started to form for fear paralyzing the muscle there would make my eyes droop. Dr. Paul kindly addressed my concerns and made me feel reassured that the amount and area he was injecting would give me natural looking results with the wrinkle prevention I desired. He was right! I would give 7 stars if I could. Dr. Paul has been one of the most pleasant, thoughtful, and kind doctors/surgeons I've been to in the past few months (I've seen 10+ for various reasons). He was late 10 minutes one time to a FaceTime and then gave me a free in-person consultation because of that in addition to answering all my questions virtually before we met. The in-person experience was phenomenal and the staff was excellent. I'm a new me with so much confidence, all thanx to Dr. Paul. I'd been losing hair for years, which is something women don't talk about. A friend, who had gone to Dr. Paul, recommended him to me. I'm so glad I went! Dr. Paul explained that my hair loss was permanent. No steroids or any other topicals were going to help. He explained the surgery, the process, the recovery, what I should expect & what I shouldn't expect (immediate results or hair like I was 18). Did I want faster results? Sure, who doesn't? SIMPLY THE BEST! I had a consultation with Dr. Paul two days ago. I did a lot of research, and I was confident that Dr. Paul was the best surgeon in NYC (and perhaps the country) for hair loss procedures. I was all prepared to do PRP or even grafts to fill in the thinning areas. Dr. Paul told me that my shedding was not extreme and I didn't need either procedure at this point. He recommended special hair vitamins and said to wait six months and come back to see him (no charge) because "why spend thousands on a procedure when these vitamins may take care of your problem." Wow! What doctor talks you out of an expensive procedure? Also, while I was there, I asked him about two other surgical procedures I was thinking of doing and he said absolutely not, I don't need it. I have never, ever met a doctor with such honesty. He is also so nice and likable and makes you feel so at ease. You immediately get the sense that he is looking out for what's best for you and not how he can get the most money out of you. I am so happy I went to him because had I gone anywhere else, I probably would've had procedures done that I didn't need. I was so vulnerable when I walked in that I was probably willing to do any procedure to remedy my hair loss. Dr. Paul could've taken advantage of that vulnerability and sucked me into thousands of dollars of needless procedures, but he didn't. Instead, I walked away with a supply of hair vitamins. I am not saying that whoever goes there will have their hair problems taken care of with vitamins. But, you can be sure that the decision Dr. Paul makes will be based on what's best for you rather than how he can get the most money out of you. If anyone is reading this review and they have questions with hair loss, transplants, or cosmetic surgery, do not waste your time and money going anywhere else. You will walk away with such a great feeling and a smile on your face knowing that you have found the best doctor for your needs. Oh, one last thing. His office is super modern, comfortable, and spotless. It has a serenity about it that makes you feel so good and relaxed. Probably the nicest office I have ever been to. Although I know hair loss is not a life threatening condition, as a mother of three children, two of whom are loosing their hair, I can emphatically say that for them it is no less traumatic. My daughter started loosing her hair as a result of female pattern baldness at around 18 years of age. At first I dismissed it as natural shedding, but when her part, either middle or side, became extremely noticeable and about a finger size thick, I knew I needed to do something. She was devastated and her confidence plummeted and very often she didn't want to leave the house not wanting to go out with her hair in a ponytail to conceil the hair loss as she felt that was a juvenial hair style. That was when I hit the internet and read about PRP treatments and ACELL treatments. I'm writing this review as I too read the reviews of past patients and they were ultimately the deciding factor in my choice of Dr. Paul. I had recently moved to NYC and went in to see Dr. Paul after having had another consultation in my previous city. My main concerns were functional. I had been unable to breathe out of one side of my nose for many years and it had started to impacted my lifestyle. I wanted to select a doctor who had great reviews in both plastics and non in the event that I elected to go under the knife. His treatment of my condition began with an appointment where Dr. Paul patiently listened to my concerns and performed an examination. From there we elected to try a few different non-surgical treatments which provided some relief but proved to be only temporary solutions for me. Once I made the determination for surgery to repair the functional issues, I inquired about correcting two small cosmetic concerns I had related to my nose. It was very important to me to still look "the same". Fearing the images of bruising I had seen all over the internet, I expected the worst for my procedure. Dr. Paul and his staff provide VERY detailed instructions for pre and post surgery. In addition to the office appointments, they will make telephone calls and send emails to make sure you understand these instructions and ask if you have any questions. I followed each of their instructions exactly as written and healed quickly and with minimal bruising (only slight yellow in the corner of my eyes). What an incredible journey this has been! I will never forget the feeling I had after the first time I spoke to Dr. Paul on the phone; safe, understood, and most importantly empathized with. I have had my fair share of experiences with doctors, and I simply could not believe that a plastic surgeon would take the time out of his day to call a person he has never met to learn more about their past experience, goals, and what got them to this point. Dr. Paul understood me and I immediately trusted him. This is not something to dismiss given the last plastic surgeon I allowed into my life 12 years ago butchered my nose. Over time it became more and more distorted; cartilage was "growing" on the tip, I developed a bump on the bridge of my nose, and the left side completely collapsed due to lack of support. This experience left me completely scarred and while I wanted to fix my nose, I didn't want to go through the emotional experience I once went through. I originally reached out to Dr. Paul in regards to a non-surgical nose-job and remember at my first consultation how much I hoped he would tell me a few fillers here and there would fix the disaster on my face, saving me from the recovery of a surgical procedure. He told me I was definitely not a candidate for a non-surgical procedure as the fillers would create more scar tissue that would ultimately do more damage. While I was devastated, I also trusted him, and he gave me the confidence and boost to move forward with the surgical revision. If I only knew how much easier this recovery was going to be I would have done this years ago! The recovery was a BREEZE. He performed an open rhinoplasty, and I was able to breathe out of my nose as soon as I woke up from anesthesia! I couldn't believe it because the last doctor put packing in my nose which is gruesome, uncomfortable, and now I know, unnecessary. I had very minimal bruising, slept through the night, and just couldn't get over how much better this experience already was in comparison to my last. His staff is also incredible. They call you frequently throughout the pre-op weeks to remind you of your self-care and medication schedule. The team truly operates as a family by supporting each other, and as a patient nothing is more reassuring as you are about to be operated on. This week I got my cast off. I was finally able to see MYSELF looking back in the mirror. I could not be happier! First of all, the practice itself is amazing. Centrally located - the staff is not only gorgeous and full of smiles but sweet and knowledgeable and I barely waited in the waiting room. Dr. Paul is absolutely incredible!! It took a bit, at 36 for me to decide that I needed to do something about the wrinkles on my forehead. I met with Dr. Paul a few months before I pulled the trigger and he took the time to discuss at length the best option - Botox - easy! Though I'm terrified of needles or that it would hit the wrong spot or freeze my face - none of this happened. The wrinkles are gone - the precision with which he administered the pain free injections was incredible. You can really see his thought process - and if you stumble upon his Facebook or Instagram you can see how much this doctor truly cares about making people happy! My wish was granted and I look like my old self and better yet like nothing was done. I left his office after the "procedure" and there was barely evidence. I'll admit waiting the 48 hours (standard time) for the Botox to set in felt like a while but OH MY GOODNESS once it did - wow! Upon my two week check in - he tweaked one area before I could even point it out! His eye is incredible, and he's sweet, smart and funny! He takes the time to answer all questions and does not rush you in anyway? Thank goodness he will be in practice for a long while because I'll never go any place else!!!
