If I could give Sarah a million stars, I would! Sarah is attentive, warm, and easygoing, all things I look for in a practitioner. She's easy to communicate with and was even able to tell when my hip hurt (even though I didn't say anything about it). Sarah Seely...she is the real deal when it comes to Thai yoga massage. Immediately upon meeting this warm and gentle woman, she welcomed me into the massage room where she made me feel at ease albeit my mood and body were beyond tense. Over the next 60 minutes, with attentiveness and sensitivity to chronic conditions and injuries, she relaxed and released my hips, IT bands, calves, quads, hamstrings and the soles of my feet. Although she also works on the upper body, she gave the TLC my lower body needed this session and kindly suggested that in the future I should go for a 90 minute massage to allow time to cover more ground. Some may be annoyed that they didn't get the whole body massage, but I'd rather a therapist not simply "go through the motions" (pun intended!) during the session. My boyfriend and I did the Thai Yoga Massage Couples Workshop as an anniversary gift to each other and absolutely loved Sarah and the workshop. It was very intimate - just us and Sarah in a cozy room - so we really got that true one-on-one experience. Sarah is super sweet and very gentle. She's also has a great energy about her. For the first hour Sarah would demo Thai yoga massage on one partner then let the other partner try what was just demo'd while Sarah would coach and give adjustments. Then after an hour we switched. Obviously being the one to give first and then receive is the way to go :) The bf and I are in very different states of flexibility (one of us does yoga while one never has) but Sarah was able to easily accommodate our varying limitations and so that we were each taught the best massage moves for the other.
