I had a special event and I wanted to get my make up done professionally. I was concerned because in the past, when having my make up done it was just "too much." Instead of looking great the makeup was overpowering and unnatural. I had an appointment with Jenny on the afternoon of the event. Jenny was a sweetheart. She was patient, really listened to what I liked and didn't like. I had shown her photos of my dress which was helpful. I was stressed when I came for my appointment and Jenny and the other beautician's went out of their way to make me feel relaxed and at ease. My make up looked spectacular! It wasn't overdone, it was absolutely lovely and glamorous. I plan to make another appointment with Jenny to do a make up tutorial. I know I won't be able to do my own make up as flawlessly as Jenny. I spent $380 (+ tips) for one hour treatment at this place I'm immensely dissatisfied with the experience & the result. 1. See attached before and after photo of my face. After photo was taken 24 hours after the facial and you can see how my skin is really red and pores are enlarged. I believe my skin was damaged during facial but I waited and see if my skin improved. My skin did not improved and I ended up getting a laser treatment elsewhere after a month. I reached out to the owner at later date and her answer was basically I reached out too late and nothing She can do about it. She said any damage to skin is not possible with this treatment I feel she did not trust my experience which is very insulting. 2. Room I was assigned was extremely small that the bed did not fit with the width of the room and had to be diagonal. I felt claustrophobic and did not feel relaxed. Also they play R&B music during facial which I find it distracting. My room also was next to the front desk and had really thin walls and I could hear phone calls or even couching noise from the receptionist. 3. Many important details are missing during facial. My facialist had very cold hands which felt uncomfortable. I found their light to be a bit bright during extraction so asked for an additional protection on my eyes. They just added additional layer of tissue and I wished they have more proper equipment for protecting light sensitive eyes. I asked her to apply a lip balm at the end of the treatment and was told they ran out of the lip balm. I don't understand how they could run out of a lip balm or they could just apply eye cream over lips.

I got the forehead and elevens done, as well as the recommended brow lift. Was quite happy with initial results, but needed a top up on my right forehead area and brow, which they did for free. Brow lift looked nice, and was pretty subtle. Things I didn't love: the upper part of my forehead still had a good bit of movement, which I will discuss with them for my next round; the Botox only really lasted about 2 months, while I was told it would probably last 3-4, so ymmv. I don't know if that was due to dosage or my body's metabolism. Will discuss with them at my next appointment.

Lies and says she is sick when she isn't or doesn't want to see a client. Or blames the receptionist for her mistake. Have heard a lot of stories of "sensitive" receptionists because she makes them cry. She shouldn't be allowed to run a business I wouldn't trust her to do anything on me.
