After seeing your incredibly unprofessional, uncaring and downright RUDE response to another person who experienced sexual assault at your business, I have decided to reply to your request on my previous review. I didn't respond to you because I didn't want to give you my details. The fact you said it was 'shocking' put doubt in my mind that you fully grasped how easy this stuff can happen, and the fact that you asked if I had put in a police complaint showed me your lack of understanding of how something like this with no evidence is basically completely overlooked.
I visited your spa the Monday before my previous review. I was taken just past 7pm (I had to wait around 5 minutes as there wasn't an available therapist). I will not provide you my contact details as I don't want to be harassed by you the same way you harassed the other person. I called the NYPD who didn't even provide me a case number, because when I explained what happened they said there would be no outcome if it was pursued because it was a 'my word against yours' situation without physical evidence. They even said businesses will most likely try to turn on victims, to protect their business & profit.
If you think there is a standard reaction to being sexually assaulted you need to clearly broaden your understanding before you even start trying to communicate with people who were assaulted at your establishment. I stayed for my full time because I DIDN'T FEEL SAFE TO STOP HIM. I feared for my life. I didn't know what this person was capable of. I was naked and in a vulnerable position. He had all the power. My body's natural survival kicked in which is a freeze response. 'You are in danger, you don't have the upper hand, you are too weak to fight him, no one will believe you, go along with it until you can escape without further harm'. And yes, I also tipped. Obviously you're unaware people can get yelled at by staff if they don't tip for a service like this. I didn't want to face an even further uncomfortable situation by prolonging my time there because of $20.
I can absolutely assure you that this happened to me here by your member of staff. I can assure you it was prolonged and 100% intentional. The man who did this was aroused and continually pressed his erection on me.
Your reaction to the other person who had tried to keep others safe by leaving a review like me is incredibly disappointing but not at all surprising. I hope no one you know ever experiences something like this, and if they do I pray to any of the deities that they don't get treated the way you're treating other victims. You should be ashamed of yourself for your reaction to this situation. Someone expresses how they were attacked in your establishment and you think it's ok to speak to them the way you did? This is exactly the reason we DON'T report these things, we don't deserve further abuse from someone who'd rather call us a liar to protect their profit than try to enact any real change. read more
