Talk about stylish. Came here for brunch on a rainy Saturday. I ordered the short rib chilaquiles add avocado and loved it. Lots of mole and it filled me up after a workout class. My friend got the breakfast tacos that she said were good. We sat in the corner booth which was very comfortable. It's a clean place and I can tell they upkeep it well. It was pretty empty during our dining which we appreciated. There is a long bar with seats with backs and an upstairs for private parties. The high ceilings and windows give the space a beautiful setting. I would definitely come back for dinner or drinks.

Came here for a friends birthday brunch and the restaurant was super cute. Everyone loved their food and their cocktails -- the bartenders clearly know what they're doing. Loved my poke nachos but also heard incredible things about the burgers, double fried fries and fried chicken

Look no further when you are in Greenpoint Brooklyn. Exquisite service, cocktails galore, and impeccable foods with superb service. What a great place to chill, have a drink and just enjoy the vibe.

I went to celebrate my best friends son engagement and truly liked the atmosphere at this place. They provided a nice room with a great bar and some good apps and a relaxed atmosphere to relax and share with good friends. The service was excellent and the apps were decent. They served some platters of fresh fruits, smoked salmon, pita chips and skewers that were very tasty, it just wasn't enough and so we left hungry! We went next door to Gotham Burger and enjoyed some burgers and fries. lol but we had a great time either way. The ipa's were fantastic and oh so cold. The place is cool with a hip young crowd and plenty of outdoor seating too. Parking can be a challenge though, you have to be patient and just drive around until you find one.

The drinks here were nice, but the real selling point for me was how cool the inside was. Servers were really nice and prompt. A great place for drinks of any kind. I wish I tried the food because it looks incredible.

Hands down LOVE this location. Funnily enough found it on my commute over to another location nearby and decided to give it a shot with a friend. Was not disappointed. The ambiance and interior design of the place amazing and loved the addition of the art and plants (would make for a cute date night spot). The food and drinks tastes wonderful and were portioned in a way that was great for sharing. The staff was warm and welcoming and overall thought the service was great. 12/10 experience - can't wait until my next occasion to come back in visit :)

Cozy Season: until the room spins

A must visit. Beyond the welcoming and electric ambience, you find cocktails to die for (Cozy Season - in a league of its own) Everyone who has found their way to Madeline's is there for the very best reason -- to have a comfortable yet memorable night. If you see Brenton, ALWAYS say hi. He's a gift to the bar scene. Amazing place, amazing space

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

Watching soccer, pretending as if I had been looking forward to Germany playing Curaçao for weeks. The occasional glance at the Chrysler building across the East River. As I worked my way through my beers, the amazing bartender perfectly timing my refills, I felt as if this may be my new place. My "get away from all the noise" safe haven. That was until I was halfway through beer three. It all got dark. I mean it literally got dark. A waitress began pulling down all the blinds, taking away the sun haven I had found myself loving. Taking away the joy I had worked so hard to achieve. That is when I knew that that beer would be my last. I did not come to a bar with a wall of windows to end up in a place darker than the Rikers Island cells mere miles away. So I ask this one question to the waitress, why? Why ruin the joy of light? Why ruin it?

A full hour passed, my party arrived, ordered their food, and received their meals before I ever saw mine. When I asked our waiter what was going on, he was confused and said he would check with the kitchen. Finally, the kitchen brought out my order--except they only brought ONE bao bun instead of the two I ordered, and it was completely cold. At that point, I told the waiter I didn't even want it anymore. He apologized and insisted they would make 2 fresh, hot bao buns for me quickly. I gave them one last chance, but another 20 minutes went by and nothing ever came. After 2 full hours of waiting and watching everyone else eat, I had to cancel my order entirely. I ended up having to leave my own party hungry and find a local pizza shop just to get a meal. The lack of communication and complete failure in service was unacceptable. I will not be returning. Oh and mind you my friends pointed out on the receipt it said customer didn't like food to cancel out the order rather than. Food never arrived.

The BK Sliders (3 pc) were solid: thick applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, Russian dressing, and pickle on mini brioche buns. Simple, satisfying, and nicely done. The real standout though was the Calamari with shichimi pepper, jalapeño, lime zest, and herbal dipping sauce--absolutely amazing. Crispy, flavorful, and the seasoning had just the right kick. It is too bad Yelp doesn't allow half stars as I would honestly put this one at a 3.5 and am rounding up. While the quality of the elevated seafood bites is immaculate, they are just that: a bite or two of food, for an elevated price considering the amount of food you get. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind. Our waitress pointed these two out to us and we're grateful for her guidance because it was spot on. Paying for bread at a Solomonov joint is odd. No dessert menu is odder. Wheelchair access details: The bar is on a terrace. The accessible entrance is through the Hoxton hotel. A staff member will take you through the k'far kitchen and up via a service elevator. No barriers once you are upstairs and plenty of accessible outdoor and indoor/outdoor options, including a small length of wheelchair height bar.
