I got married at 74 Wythe on 8/27/23 and it was an amazing experience. A few things: 1. The venue staff were awesome. From the bartenders, to management - especially the amazing Chloe (who dealt with us for years) and Jaida - everyone was professional, kind and helpful. 2. The venue is incredible. From the terrace with sick views, to the retractable roof above the dance floor, to the speakeasy adjacent to the unique cocktail hour room - it's epic. 3. The area is amazing. It's across the street from Brooklyn Bowl and a 2 minute walk from a ton of hotels, bars and restaurants. It's perfect for any guests. If you're thinking about booking your wedding or next event here - don't hesitate. They handled the most important day of my life like absolute champs. read more

Just attended a wedding here and honestly the vibes are great! So many event space options and it's cozy/speakeasy was a nice touch for the after party. The food vender that was hired was awesome and I thought the staff was very attentive. The atrium/glass room was a little snug with the long tables but the whole wedding vibe was amazing! They had a stage for DJ/BAND which I loved as it provided more dance floor room and also a Photo Booth. My only critique is the bathrooms and the amount of stairs everywhere - this space used to be Output (a night club) and the bathrooms show it. They are airplane small- beyond impossible if you were in a black tie dress/wedding dress. I imagine the bridal suite area had a massive / handicap bathroom because the regular ones were tiny. The fire alarm has gone off twice in the three hours we've been here, with no indication from the venue as to what's going on. The space on the third floor is overcrowded and an evacuation would be horrible and unsafe. Fingers crossed this isn't how I go -- it won't be worth it. We had our wedding at 74 Wythe this month, and we are so happy that we chose this brand new venue! Chloe and Tiana, the VP of event sales and Director of event ops, respectively, were incredible to work with. When we began planning our wedding, 74 Wythe was still under construction, and we would be one of the first events held when they opened. Chloe and Tiana were kind enough to keep us informed throughout the construction process and allowed us to visit the venue several times leading up to our wedding. It was somewhat nerve-wracking to be one of the first to host a party at a brand new venue - we were concerned that the staff would still be figuring things out and might have some kinks to work out. However, all of these fears turned out to be completely unfounded. Our wedding went completely smoothly thanks to the professional staff and we had an amazing night! 74 Wythe's rooftop and event spaces are absolutely gorgeous. The venue has panoramic views of Manhattan and, as it faces west, the sunset over the East River and NYC skyline create a stunning backdrop for your event. 74 Wythe has a unique indoor/outdoor feel since most of the rooftop is enclosed in glass but open to the outdoors. This setup is perfect as it still has a completely outdoor feel, but you do not need to be as concerned about weather. They even have outdoor heaters (and air conditioning, I believe) to control the temperature on the roof. 74 Wythe provides the drink package and furniture for events. The drinks and bartenders were great. As for furniture, they had both round and rectangular tables available and beautiful cross-back chairs. They also have nice lounge furniture in the other spaces on the rooftop that can be used for cocktail hour. It was really nice to not have to rent furniture from an outside vendor as is the case with a lot of other event venues in the area. This venue is a stunning wedding spot and one I actively inquired about for my wedding in 2023 - but my unfortunate experience is their New Year's Eve party at the rooftop due to which I'd absolutely never consider this venue or recommend it. My group of 15 friends and I purchased their $230/pp tickets for the rooftop, which was advertised as a higher tier ticket than their regular "superior ingredient" area for $80. The ticket included admission and open bar, with what was supposed to be a diverse selection of DJ's. The admission line was an hour + all night. The open bar was non-existent. It was a safety hazard to even stand in line due to the surge crowd pushing. After the one hour wait in line to get drinks while being physically suffocated, the bar has no juice or mixers of any sort. Disgusting "cocktails". The "rooftop" that was different than the cheap tickets was a wet outdoor area that had no bar of its own. Everyone was in the same crowded venue space and there was no distinction to be made. Every one had access to the same areas, so why falsely advertised at $230 VS the same $80 package is beyond me besides corporate greed. Not to mention, the DJ's had zero variety. We watched from the rooftop deck at how one of the DJ's literally talked to her friend the entire time and wasn't actually mixing. 30 years + of NYE spent here and I've never been somewhere that didn't do a count down or acknowledge the new year. The 15 of us simultaneously agree to this being a gross rooftop venue and personally the worst establishment I've visited. I'm sure it works for the transplants who were all drugged on NYE, but not for any sane individual looking to receive their $230 worth. PS: We were only able to receive one gross drink each the entire night from the open bar that was offered in my $230 ticket - that's how bad the bar was. It's a big fat no from me and ruined our entire evening and new year. PS: I've noticed in reviews that the manager responses in a grotesque manner to any review that slightly criticized this venue. Please stop harassing guests whom you clearly mistreat. Just stop it. Otherwise, this venue's got 15 big fat business bureau complaints coming their way ;) read more

74Wythe was truly the most amazing wedding venue we could have even dreamed of or asked for! When my fiancé & I were looking at wedding venues - my Type A self had us go to 'em all. We saw over 20 venues in person in Manhattan & Brooklyn but we knew as soon as we went to 74Wythe that both the space & the team were IT for us. When we first toured the space - they were doing some additional remodeling after having only a handful of weddings so far - there was literal sawdust on the floor and we still were both absolutely in love with the space and team. The rooftop cannot be beat!! It is truly a magical space and I was so thankful to have the built in weather plan since the roof is glass & retractable (which we ended up needing since it was unseasonably rainy on our day). I wanted a venue that had both inside & outside components & the rooftop of 74 was our dream come true! In addition to the show stopping rooftop - the other spaces were incredible as well. We had our cocktail hour in the main room & the two level space with multiple bars & built in stage was incredible for our cocktail hour. We also were able to have our late night in the SPEAKEASY (how insane is that?!) aka jbird. We were able to have our full day there - they had spaces for everything we needed & wanted. The venues proximity to the hotels in the area also made for such a seamless weekend for us & all of our guests. The beauty of the spaces gives you such an amazing jumping off point for bringing your event to life. There is beautiful wallpaper, greenery, murals, furniture, lighting & more that we were so thrilled to have. In addition to these beautiful spaces - the team CANNOT be beat!! Chloe was our absolute wedding angel - coordinating with us & our planner every step of the way. We also got to meet Katy & Tiana on site visits & emails who were also so on top of everything for us. Our guests were also raving about how phenomenal the day of staff was! They kept everything running so smoothly better than we could have even imagined. From the porters to the bartenders to the venue coordinators (s/o to Jocelynn & Conrad!) to the bathroom attendants - the flip from ceremony to reception was seamless, lines always managed & guests & wedding party incredibly well taken care of. This is coming from a corporate event planner that finds and vets venues for a living. 74Wythe was everything I was looking for and more. My husband and I got married there on 8/27/23 and it was honestly a perfect experience. We first looked at 74Wythe before the pandemic, but life had other plans. Over time we kept in touch with the INCREDIBLE Chloe (she's a freaking superstar... seriously the best) and finally pulled the trigger with only 3 months to plan the big day. Chloe and the entire team were so helpful, kind, flexible--they went above and beyond to make the day a success. They dealt with me asking 10,000 annoying questions like "where's the firstaid kit?" (who does that?!) but Chloe and team were so patient and truly carried out the vision I had for the space. The venue is a jaw-dropper between the service, views, and overall vibe. Our guests have been consistently saying it was the coolest wedding they ever went to (humble brag, ha!!) but I will be back to 74Wythe for corporate events to come. All their spaces are stunning and offer their own unique character; "The Roof" is flat out epic and highly recommend retracting the roof down for a wow moment mid event, their downstairs room "The Room" is spacious, clubby, and cool, and their fantastic speakeasy "J-Bird" is where we had our afterparty, it was the perfect place to have a nightcap. 74Wythe is an incredible new space in the heart of Williamsburg Brooklyn. The views are absolutely breathtaking. You have a direct view of the Empire State Building and cotton candy sunsets from the rooftop. I attended a corporate event tonight and it went so well that our company stayed till they told us they were closing. The bartenders were great and poured a strong vodka soda for me. There are multiple rooms for different functions, and they are all great, but nothing beats the rooftop views and I can see a lot of people coming from Manhattan to have their events here in the near future. read more

Beautiful venue and view of manhattan, but the sound system was bad (speakers in the back half of dance floor weren't working). I got treated like a moron for asking where the alternative bathroom was because the bouncers wouldn't allow us to form a line at the rooftop bathroom. Since I was visiting from Chicago, I thought the staff were just typical, rude New Yorkers. It was after the event that I found out other people were being harassed by a drunk security guard with "cool" hair. Other people complained that the doormen were b*tchy too. We had our wedding here, and it was a beautiful venue. Margaret and Tiana are great to work with. The venue is modern and new- felt much better than anywhere else we toured. The views of the city and water and beautiful, and it's in a hip part of Williamsburg. The venue has plants that are kept up well and add to the fresh decor, which we really appreciated. My wife and I were incredibly honored to be one of the very first weddings booked at 74Wythe. We wanted an outdoor venue with a view of the New York City skyline, and 74Wythe delivers this and FAR more. The space has a beautiful art deco-meets-speakeasy vibe and is absolutely stunning, incredibly dynamic, and just plain fun to be in. It is also flexible and interchangeable enough that you can have nearly any seating or socializing arrangement you can think of. The sound system is amazing, the vendors and staff are impeccable, and the entirety of the experience is simply unforgettable. Our friends and family have been raving about our wedding weeks later. The best part of the space is the retractable roof. Planning a wedding many months out, the weather can be a constant form of stress, having no idea that far in advance what the day's clouds might bring. But with 74Wythe's dynamic roof, you can have it any way that you wish. Having a Rainy Day Plan B is hardly necessary here. The downstairs event space is equally impressive, as is JBird, the secret cocktail bar attached to the main room. You just have so many options with this building, it being so freshly rebuilt and thoughtfully designed. Working with Tiana and Chloe was fantastic. They understood every last desired detail of our wedding, and were more than accommodating for each need. They were so thoughtful and enthusiastic throughout the planning process, and we would easily recommend working with them for any event. Not sure how their events are usually run (weddings, corporate, etc) but they hosted a NYE event/party and I have never seen a more poorly executed party. The staff was doing their best, and I have no complaints about them, but they massively oversold tickets for their event. $120 tickets to wait in line 45 minutes to even enter the building. 30 minute wait to use a restroom (they had 4 single stalls for the entire upstairs ~1000+ people) and while they advertised an open bar it was another 30 minute wait to get the weakest vodka cran I've ever had in my life.
