I attended a party here and it was an ok place to attend. They had no sign in the front of the building so it was easy to get lost. They had a paper sign in the window that said mask are required for entry which was a good idea with covid. Thank God we found parking right in front because there is no parking lot. It was a little tight for the amount of people that were there. I would say only 50 people fit comfortably. It was a pretty space and it was too floors. It was located in williamsburg area. Would I recommend this place for a party? Only if you are going to have 50 people or less. The decor of the place was nice and the lighting was great. 3.7 stars. read more

I came here for a friend's family party and it was beautiful. The layout is bare bones so you can decorate any way you like. The string lights crisscrossing over the table created a warm glow making the whole room feel welcoming and happy. The location supplies folding tables and chairs and its huge. The family had a big turnout send it was a lot of fun. There is an outdoor space in the back with a picnic table that's small but private. read more

Free wifi. The atmosphere: Quiet, with classical music in the background. Outdoor patio in the back - a nice place to take personal calls. A single cat was spotted on the stairs - but it didn't seem to visit with people unnecessarily. Staying productive: Mexican food two doors down, espresso half a block away. Ground floor so you don't have to leave your bike outside, which means less worrying about your stuff. Some books (Dune, Snowcrash, Atlas Shrugged, etc...) in the back if your brain needs a break. With a day pass cost of $10, this place gets my vote. I will be there again tomorrow. read more

Bat Haus is a fabulous venue. My wife and I had our wedding there, and it could not have been more perfect. First of all, Natalie (the owner), is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accessible. She wants everyone to have a good time at Bat Haus, and is remarkably accommodating. Her pricing is affordable, and helped us keep our wedding costs way below average. Secondly, the venue itself is very flexible. It can be transformed in multiple ways on short notice. Their supply of onsite chairs and tables make setting up and breaking down easy; the string lights that are permanently installed make the room warm and inviting (and festive); and the upstairs kitchen area easily serves a number of purposes, from staging area to dressing room to actual kitchen prep. It's fantastic. Plus, the backyard space is incredibly helpful for event photos (we took the majority of our official wedding photos out there). Finally, the venue is easily accessible via public transit and by car. Our guests had no trouble getting there. There is an L train station right on the corner, and from there it's about a 30-second walk to the front door. My wife and I had a great time here, and so did our guests. Friends and family alike kept saying how much they loved the venue, and I could not agree more. read more

Honestly, I cannot express how great yesterday at bat haus was! Natalie is seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met and more helpful than I can put into words. We booked the space a year ago and hadn't been back in several months so I walked in Saturday morning with my guts knotted up over all I thought I'd have to do. But it was already beautiful! Hanging glass orbs, string lights, long pretty tables. And everything was designed with ease in mind. It was really really a perfect day and wouldnt have been possible without Natalie's help. The whole venue just gave my party theme that extra glam. Most importantly, Natalie was such a sweet and kind person to work with. She was very accommodating and even gave us advice. She also helped me decorate on the day of the event. They're very flexible with the food policies and their rental prices are very reasonable. I had my wedding at Bat Haus on Saturday 5/14/16 after seeing our good friends get hitched there a year earlier. Natalie is a consummate professional. She is cool as a cucumber, quick to reply to all your questions (and trust me, I had plenty), flexible in terms of meeting you to see the space and just over all, felt like a close friend in our planning process. We wound up having about 78 people (though we bargained for 100) and the space was the PERFECT size. The dozens of little string lights on the ceiling added a whimsical, romantic touch -- and made for gorgeous photos! There are little rooms upstairs where I got ready before walking down the aisle and having that quiet space to just chill, get my makeup/hair done, have some champagne and greet some of my family before the ceremony began was clutch. If raw space, DIY and hands-on weddings are your style, then go for Bat Haus. I'm still getting texts from friends who said it was the best wedding they've been to! (No one likes the stuffy catering hall and fog machines anyways.) You will NOT regret working with Natalie. Bat Haus was a great space for our wedding. It turned out beautiful and the coordinator, Natalie, was amazing and very sweet! It is a very versatile space and looks amazing with minimal decorations. I would highly recommend this space in a heartbeat and Natalie gets my highest recommendations. With that being said, our only downside from the venue was that it was dirty. We swept before the wedding because the floor was dirty. The bathroom was actually very dirty and my husband scrubbed on his hands and knees the day before to clean up the bathroom before our big day. This was the only downside. The coworkers are all smart, independent, and interesting people, the space is big, bright and open, and the price is unbeatable ($175 a month for a monthly coworking membership!). Since it is under one block from the Jefferson L stop, there are tons of restaurants, cafes, bars and anything else you'd want just a minutes walk away. Every Thursday, the owners, Cody and Natalie, throw a happy hour where most of the office gets together for drinks, snacks, and general fun in the backyard. Afterwards, those who want to go out to party at one, or many, of the awesome bars on the block. Every few months, there is a party, which without fail, is amazing. The space is also used for all kinds of great events, like film clubs, Drink 'n' Draw, and much more, so if you hang around after work, there is always something fun to do. I highly recommend the Bat Haus to any freelancers or anyone else who works from home. You'll make as many friends as you want, and you'll spend less money than you do on coffee working at your neighborhood cafe. read more

AMAZING! I just hosted my daughter's first birthday here and I cannot stop gushing. It was perfect. Even before I met with Natalie to see the space I felt like this will be the place for the party not only because it's pretty and huge, but because Natalie was so attentive to my questions and was so fast to reply to my emails. She was so accommodating and when we met we fell in love with the space and Natalie. We didn't want to leave lol. The price was not astronomical and I felt was worth every penny. The place is huge and on a snowy winter's day it was nice and toasty inside. Here are some of the things I adore about this space: 1. Blank canvas. We had the opportunity to decorate it to make it look the way we wanted. It's very white so bringing in color makes the color pop so nicely. 2. The string lights above are so pretty. All my guests loved them. Gives a nice extra glow. 3. It's huge and we could position the tables however we wanted and had an area for kids where we put out an inflatable pool and a ball pit which was a hit by the way and the area at the back was used for the buffet food and drinks. 4. The tables are on wheels so it was very very easy to move them around. The folding chairs were light so they were easy to move around as well. 5. Cody, who is Natalie's partner and who I met the day of the party was very accommodating and friendly and helped us arrange the tables and chairs and made sure we had everything we needed before heading out. I had his number in case we needed him. 6. We had control of the heat. 7. There's a kitchen area and small conference room upstairs with couches (great for breastfeeding mamas). This room is also perfect for changing baby's diapers! (I brought in a changing pad so my guests can be extra comfy with little ones). It was also a great place to store jackets. Since it was cold everyone had one and I didn't want to have jackets all over the place, but some did end up on the backs of some chairs. (just a tip: assign someone to do a coat check if you can.) 8. The bathroom was stocked and clean. 9. There's a back yard, which was great for smokers and for keeping drinks cold! 10. I really can't think of anything bad. Nothing at all. And I really can't stress enough how nice Natalie and Cody are. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I'm so happy with everything and I'm looking for an excuse to throw another party just so I can come here again. :) Thank you so much! read more

The taco place 2 doors down is AMAZING - authentic and delicious Mexican food piled high with fresh avocado. There's also a new market close by that just opened up. The hosts (Cody and Natalie) are super friendly and very helpful. Amenities included: cold A/C, fridge and kitchen use, free coffee, free wifi, lots of desk space, cute little backyard patio They offer part-time membership, full-time membership (locker and mailbox included), and day passes. They have a Facebook, Twitter, and Blog with lots of pictures if you want to get a sneak peak before you visit. Tip: check-in to Foursquare on your phone when you're there. This place is AMAZING. I love the raw unique space and it was just perfect for my baby shower that I had over the weekend. Natalie and Cody were great to work with and so accommodating. I seriously can't rave enough about this space or the owner, Natalie! From the beginning Natalie was super responsive in a timely manner and extremely helpful. I just had my party there this past Saturday on 5/7/16 and this space does not disappoint. With my busy schedule and not living in Brooklyn, I didn't get a chance to see the space beforehand. I put my trust in the yelp reviews and the pictures that were online - and I am SO glad I did!! Bat Haus exceeded my expectations, the raw space is beautiful with the hanging ceiling lights and I loved that there was backyard that also had lighting and didn't need any decoration - it is so nice as is. Now, back to Natalie. When I met her, she greeted me with a hug and was so warm and sweet. I was shocked that she stayed to help decorate, set up the projector and make sure we were all good to go. The projector wasn't working at first for my computer and she spent almost an hour dedicated to making it work - and she did! Which was a huge relief for me because I spent hours on making videos and slideshows to play during my event. She even stayed in contact via text during the event and told me she would be in the area if I needed her to come back for anything. I highly recommend Bat Haus to anyone looking for a space that they can make their own, and for an affordable price! I did my research and looked into many venues. I usually work from home, but ever since I discovered Bat Haus, I find myself working from this wonderful office space. Now I'm only really productive when I'm working out of Bat Haus. It was sunny and warm, so the adults and kids were able to hang outside the backyard as well. Only problem was, there was just 1 bathroom. We had a little over 100 guests, but a short wait didn't seem to bother them too much. There is also a kitchen upstairs and she provided us a projector for our baby's montage to play throughout the day. The Bat Haus is to us the ideal Bushwick venue. It embodies the spirit of the neighborhood. Natalie was incredibly friendly and had a way about her that really soothe a lot of my anxiety as we were looking for a space and bringing in stuff for a sweet 16 party for our daughters. The place comfortably hosted 100 people, and was easy to decorate. Its a block from the subway and in one of the most Artistic parts of Bushwick. There are always other creators in the space that I can discuss an idea with or get feedback. I also really like the physical space. The backyard is great for our thursday happy hours, the main work space doesn't feel like a typical office and that definitely inspires creativity. I have been using Bat Haus co-working space for over 6 months now. I come all the way from Manhattan, because of the productive atmosphere, great people and affordable price. Bat Haus is conveniently located: Jefferson L Train is right down the block, and there are so many coffee shops and places to grab something to eat nearby. Love the high ceilings and string lights! It is also pet-friendly ;) Weather permitting I also love spending sometime in the back yard.
