We are extremely disappointed how Diller handled their classes during pandemic. We've seen other…read moremusic place immediately shift their platform to online class such as zoom while everybody is ordered to stay at home. However, diller didn't provide any online class, the only thing we got is a weekly email with some crappy links, like mp3. With all the things start to reopen in the summer, we start to see outdoor music classes held by others. So we followed up with diller and hope they will arrange some make up classes, if not, get prorated refund. Unfortunately, their respond email is that we will not get any refunds even the classes are only held half during the semister. And we should be appreciate their emails and should be thankful as other families do. We spent around $1,300 for the whole semester, which will be 15 classes, until pandemic happened, we only took 7 classes, and now the rest is just forfeited (who will even count email as a class, not mention for a baby). Diller's class is the most expensive one among other baby music classes, the reason we chose them is that they have a piano player with each class, and we also want to establish a relationship with the school so my kid will learn instruments with them when they grow. But after Covid-19, we realized that the main goal Diller-Quaile has is to make money, they didn't really care if my baby learned any music. Until now, we didn't get any respond from them how they handle the missed classes, we only got respond because we followed up with them. But we still get their emails to donate money to help out kids learn music. We also saw that they updated their next semester registration. They will provide both online and in-person classes. And the price will be different. Our questions to Diller is that: if you have online classes, why you didn't provide it to my baby during pandemic, if the price is different, why we didn't get refund? It is obvious that they only spent time to build up this registration platform so you can pay them, but they will never refund you. Good luck to all who choose Diller-Quaile!

Their playworker is fantastic - she has so many great activities and games planned each week that allow them to experience the outdoors and also use their imaginations. They so look forward to Brooklyn Wild every week and when I pick them up they can't wait to tell me about everything they did! I'm so happy there is somewhere I can take them for a few hours (and have a little break) where they are outdoors and active and safe (small classes, great Covid policies). We love it!

Everything from the initial course description, to registration, to attending classes, to knowing what was done in each class from Nicole's weekly email updates--all explained clearly and accurately so that we knew exactly what to expect and could talk about the day with our son to discuss the things he learned with Nicole. I couldn't believe the amount of activities and creativity Nicole facilitated within the time she was with the kids. It was a dream to have a class that included painting, drawing, reading, writing, storytelling, making smoothies, and social-emotional learning. And Nicole does it so seamlessly, allowing the kids to be creative and enjoy the time with each other. It was play at its best! But what I loved the most was seeing everything my son created by the end of the course--which included a superhero cape, mask, tools, artwork, a self-portrait, book (that Nicole had hard bound!) and the beautiful photos of my son in his costume in front of a backdrop the kids had created. Nicole not only took the photos but printed them out for us to frame! My son looked like a real superhero and had the biggest smile on his face. Nicole is clearly a seasoned, skilled, and enthusiastic educator whose kindness and patience with children is rare. She really, truly understands kids and gives them the tools and encouragement young ones need to flourish with new challenges. I can't recommend her courses enough--I'm hoping we can take another one with her soon!

I could not recommend From Wonder more enthusiastically to any family who values educational enrichment, fun and creativity for their kids.

I am providing a review of the Chrystie Street Ballet Academy (CSBA). My daughter started with…read morepre-Ballet lessons at four years old during the summer. At the time, the location was at the original Chrystie Street studio. Prior to the lessons at CSBA, we had tried different ballet studios in other boroughs. The other dance studios cannot compare to how impeccable the CSBA lessons were. The ballet instructors, classes, and overall lessons were considered to be top-notch. The CSBA instructors were absolutely engaging, professional, and most importantly knew how to engage young children in class. Their overall program and curriculum were organized and planned out very well for classes of different levels. Because of the relocation, to our dismay, we were unable to make future lessons due to scheduling. As a result, we had to find a different studio. That also meant we had to continue to search for another ballet school that provided at least a similar positive experience we had at CSBA. After months of contacting schools and trials - we felt discouraged and disappointed in not being able to land a school that was comparably close to CSBA. We actually had a hiatus, and had to resort to other activities. Fast forward to the pandemic, CSBA announced their classes were going to be on Zoom! Not sure if that was a blessing in disguise for us - but it was certainly an opportunity for us to once again, relish in the CSBA world again! The announcement came as a huge surprise and we could not be any more excited. Not to say that the in-person classes can ever be replaced - nothing can ever top that, but if this was the next best approach, we will take it! It is not a simple feat to turn an in-person instructional methodology into an online platform - but the entire CBSA program was converted almost flawlessly. This was a Herculean effort by the entire program, that continues to deserve huge praises for their hard work. After months of lessons, we continue to enjoy the quality standards of CSBA - the ballet teachers continue to give their best instruction, even in the midst of this unprecedented time. We feel very fortunate to have had the chance to be a part of such an amazing ballet studio - so that the students will continue to learn and hone the skills for ballet. Thank you Ms. Mindy for all your hard work and efforts in making CSBA so extraordinary!

Most start at 4 months old, just in time for me to return to work! I was thrilled to find Music Together and realize that they offer classes for babies as young as newborns. I brought my babe to a free demo class and signed up on the spot. The class is very structured and caregivers are actively involved. Stacey, the instructor, guides you through each song and activity. She has a beautiful voice and is really wonderful with each child in the class - making each feel special and appreciated. She acknowledges that all babies have pressing needs and welcomes everyone to feed and change the babies as needed. Early on, my baby would sleep through large swaths of the class. Stacey explained that despite being asleep, she was still taking in all of the music and knowledge. She's especially great at explaining developmentally how the class is helping each child grow and learn. The songs are fun and I find myself singing them at home without even realizing. My baby lights up when she hears the familiar tunes. This class has been great for providing structure to my maternity leave life, giving me a reason to leave the house, a community of other caregivers to spend time with, and most importantly - my little one loves it!
