We used the venue to film a dance video concept. The owners were so nice and welcoming and really helped us with our vision for the video! The event space is nice as well. They had colored lights to add to the mood (you can switch the lights to any color). The floors are marble which give that elegant touch. We didn't use any of their props but the owner did mention that they had plenty available to help create the scene. This is located in a very residential area so there is parking on the street. Of course it can still vary by the hour. I definitely recommend booking them for your next party OR if you need a creative space! read more

I Really wish that I can leave an amazing review like everyone else did and rave about the beautiful set up I had , but unfortunately my intimate dinner for 2 was cancelled the morning of my event ! I'm honestly upset because this venue was the only place that offered a service that fit everything that I wanted/needed for my boyfriends bday & I didn't even get to experience the greatness that I see they put out to others . Had they communicated with me even the day before I would probably be okay , but canceling the day of was extremely not okay ! My baby shower was on 11/19/2022 I had such an amazing time . Kay is such a professional my theme was a baby brunch " I can bearly wait " . I booked the venue and the bronze decor package with some minor additional adds on like the loveseat chair I told Kay the color schemes I wanted and was totally blown away ! The communication was impeccable from start to finish as well as how easy it was . She executed it PERFECTLY she even stopped by to congratulate me ! She is amazingg! I used studio eleven for furniture rental for a bridal shower! Kay and her husband are truly awesome! They were super responsive to all of my questions and requests. The delivery of the furniture was prompt. Kay was very accommodating and understanding. Our event started a bit late so I asked if we could keep the rentals for a little longer than the scheduled pick up time. They gladly allowed us to do so! They even brought additional options for us to select from and allowed us to use the additional furniture for no extra charge. I was having an event at my home on October 10. I called Studio Eleven 2 weeks prior to arrange a rental of chairs & table. The woman who answered, informed me to go online to put the rental request through. 1 week prior to my event. I placed the order online. (on a Saturday).I emailed them to say what time I needed the rentals. I figured someone would get back to me. I called, Tuesday left a message, called Wednesday, left a message and no call back. By Thursday, I emailed them to cancel the order. I had to rush to order from someone else. To this day no one from Studio Eleven has called and now my credit card company is fighting the charge. read more

Please don't ever do business with this company. After they take your deposit and have you sign the contract, they will stop responding. Like all scammers, at the beginning they are very nice and accommodating and respond to you within the hour. However almost immediately after submitting your deposit they go completely ghost. The owner Kay set up a meeting with me to go over final logistics but never showed up then stopped answering messages/calls. First things first, the venue is beautiful and a bit of a hidden gem in East Flatbush. However, that is where the good ends. Their lack of communication and follow up is why I am writing this negative review. I found this venue through an Instagram advertisement and realized it was a local black owned business so I wanted to support them. I reached out to them over the summer because I wanted to use it for my sister's bridal shower. I went to see the space in person and met Kaye and Daniel, the owners, who were lovely and also offered event design services. Unfortunately the venue was a bit small to accommodate the guest list but I kept them in mind when the time came for my sister and I to throw a party for our childrens' baptism. I reached out on 10/29/21 to confirm that they had availability for the date that I wanted (11/21/21), which they confirmed they did. Then after exchanging a few emails we were able to nail down the date 11/09/21 for my sister and I to view the space together. While viewing the venue, I told Daniel that we wanted to book the space and he told me to simply send them an email and they would send over the contract. As soon as I got home the same day I followed up letting them know that I wanted to move forward with booking the venue. However I received no response. I followed up 2 more times on 11/11/21 and 11/12/21 and finally got a response on 11/12/21 (3 days after my initial email) saying they would send over the contract shortly. However, they did not send over the contract and I had to follow up again 2 more times on 11/14/21 and 11/16/21 letting them know that we were ready to sign the contract and wanted to send out the invitations to our guests ASAP. I then received a response saying the space was unavailable. Note that they told me they would send me a contract on 11/12/21, never sent the contract and after I followed up they told me on 11/16/21 that the venue is booked for the date I wanted . My event is in 5 days and I am now screwed because they rented the space to someone else. They either have poor business management or rented the space to someone who was going to make them more money by using their event design services. The sad thing is we were willing to use them for design services as well but they never responded to my emails! The other reviews saying they will ghost you are unfortunately correct. They are terrible at communicating and will ignore your emails. I am now left without an event space to celebrate my child's baptism. Look somewhere else because it's not worth the risk being left in a bind at the last minute. read more

Studio Eleven is a hidden GEM in Brooklyn. If you are looking for a small intimate affair look no further, this is the perfect spot! I had a small celebration for my 30th birthday dinner for 30 people and this was the perfect venue. I wanted to make sure the space was big enough where we can have a nice intimate dinner and dance afterwords, which we were able to do. Kay the owner of studio eleven was super professional throughout the entire booking process and even after my event. She kept constant communication with me to go over details of the type of decor and style I wanted. She made sure to call/text/email me prior to my event to make sure everything was seamless for my birthday party. After seeing her work, I knew I can trust her and I am so glad I did because she did not disappoint. In fact, she exceeded way BEYOND my expectations! Kay offers you decor packages that are separate from the venue so you know exactly what you are paying for. Also, she uses a system called honeybook where you can upload pictures of visions for your event. The ease of knowing I had a venue and decor from the same place was best part of it because I didn't have to stress or look elsewhere. After Kay handled my event, her and her husband went on vacation. Even while they were away, I was able to text and call them for any particular reason. I had a bouncer which was part of my package who was super professional as well. He had helped me with changing the lighting and set up music for me. SUPER FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGABLE about the atmosphere. As mentioned above, she made the whole process smooth. She was booked back to back the week leading up to my event but I never felt like her or her team didn't deliver. When my guests and I arrived we fell in love with the place. Kay paid special attention to detail and she even surprised me place cards of pictures from special moments I shared with my friends and family. I booked this place in mind knowing I wanted to give back to my community and support small locally owned black businesses especially one owned by a woman. If you are a person looking for a professional event specialist who respond to you in a timely manner, this business is not for you. My wife and I recently acquired the services of Studio Eleven for a baby shower scheduled for Dec 6/2020. When speaking with them you get the impression this business is the real deal, but, once you confirm and they have your money you will soon come to realize trying to contact them is almost impossible. My wife I sent several Emails trying to acquire pictures of some of their work (we were recommended by a family member) and to no avail we got nothing, not one photo of any work they did or sample of the work we requested, very unprofessional . If you don't want to be involved and trust them to do the work with no preview of what you are getting, by all means this is the business for you. Good Luck. read more

This company was hired to decorate my sister's baby shower. The shower was from 1pm-5pm. The young lady that runs this business didn't start setting up until 1:40pmish while guests were already there and others were still arriving. This was so unprofessional! On top of the fact that the finished product looked nothing like what was discussed prior to. $1250 dollars was paid to this company and they only offered a $150 refund and a $150 credit to the company that would have to be used within 15 months. Now why would I EVER use this company again? I think a $150 dollar refund is laughable when she was setting up 40 minutes after the event had already started in front of everyone!!! And when the finished product looked like it could have been done by a non-professional. That's not what we paid for!!! The venue we had the event at was already setting up a back up plan for us because the young lady hadn't showed up yet and multiple people made comments about the company refunding us half of the money because of the lateness and finished product. How embarrassing! And when my sister showed up and walked in with her fiancé, the young lady was still there setting up!!!! Smh. That's not how it was supposed to go and that's not how you do business. People really have to work on their time management and their customer service when running a business they want to keep alive because what happened was really unacceptable! read more

My friends and I used this space for a hip hop dance video and Kay was so kind and accommodating of all our needs. We were given colored lights for the video shoot, we were able to move things around in the space freely to ensure we had different filming angles, and Kay was on standby in case we needed anything additional.
