I have had the pleasure of tasting a Made In Heaven cake at my job a few years ago. I have fallen in love with Made In Heaven and have used them 3 times on 3 separate occasions over the years. I have never had a cake that not only looked fantastic but that tasted magnificent right down to the fondant that is always delicious from Made In Heaven. I ordered a cake for my nephew/Godson's 1st birthday. Everyone was wondering where I ordered the cake from. They all enjoyed the fondant along with the moist delicious cake. I then ordered a cake for my mother's 70th Birthday. I wanted a 50's themed cake. Victoria worked with me over the phone and was able to create the cake just as we had discussed through phone and emails. It truly brought the theme of the party to life. I just recently ordered my wedding cake from Made In Heaven. It was beautifully done and tasted like, well, Heaven! My now husband does not eat cake ever but he was more than happy to have a piece of Heaven! Our cake was very detailed. It was a split 4 tier cake. I wanted to incorporate the colors of our wedding which were black and green. Half of the cake was covered in white delicate fondant with intricate swirls on every other tier. The other side was covered in chocolate colored fondant with the illusion of ganache dripping down each tier. Green flowers were placed throughout the cake. The cake looked divided by white fondant that was made to look like cloth that was gently placed between the split, it was draped and folded as if it were a genuine piece of fabric. We had 2 flavors: vanilla cake with vanilla mousse and raspberry preserves the second flavor was chocolate cake with chocolate mousse. The 2 flavors both tasted incredible. The mousse tasted like smooth custard. The cake itself was moist and outstanding. The cake was just one of the most and still talked about aspects of our wedding. My wedding day was rainy and stormy and what could go wrong...did. To see my vision of our wedding cake come to life and to work with such professionals that truly love what they do and care about how you feel on your special day made me feel so much better. I honestly don't think there's anything I can say that would fully express how happy and impressed with Made In Heaven Cakes. My friend and I went to the consultation for a cake for my parents anniversary party. We were greeted with friendly smiles and a plate FULL of cakes to taste. We ended up scraping our plates clean - the cakes were that delicious. All of the flavors were so tasty our problem was deciding on which one to pick (we ended up with chocolate cappuccino and vanilla with vanilla raspberry!). We were able to take our time during the tasting and speak with Lisa and Victor (the genius baker!) who couldn't be nicer and more friendly! After the tasting Lisa sat with us and gave us all the time we needed to choose the design we wanted for the cake. She had great suggestions and was so patient with us. Even though we chose the design for the cake, I wasn't prepared for how beautiful the cake actually looked in person! I actually changed the set up of our room so that the cake was the main focal point. It's been 5 days since the party and everyone is still commenting on how beautiful and delicious the cake was. Luckily we ordered a cake that was too big, so we've been enjoying leftovers every day since :) Pricing was extremely reasonable. I will DEFINITELY be a repeat customer. Each time I had a theme, weather it be a Hello Kitty, Sesame Street, Dora, Carnival, or All Star Athlete cake, they've ALL come out with impeccable precision & perfection. Creatively no one can beat these people, but MOST importantly what sets them apart as well is the flavor of the cake. I ordered a cake from Lisa and her husband, Victor, as a surprise for my boyfriend's dad's birthday. It was just about the best thing that I could have given him! Since his favorite food (and maybe even thing) in the world is BACON, I ordered a cake that I hoped would symbolize his love for the food. There are no words to describe how surprised we all were at the end result. The cake looked like an oversized package of Oscar Meyer's bacon, and it had a realistic looking griddle with several pieces of bacon on top. It just looked so real and so smooth, and best of all - it tasted really good! The cake I chose was chocolate devils food with cappuccino mousse... really a great choice! Over all, the experience with Lisa and her husband (and the rest of the team that worked on the cake) was such a positive and unforgettable one! They worked in a very organized way, and got things done in a most timely fashion (only one week!). The delivery worked out great, and the service is just something else... I think the name speaks for itself. I have been using Lisa for all of our special events. No matter what we order. Cake, cookies and/or cupcakes it looks truly breathtaking and tastes heavenly. Whether I have a specific theme party or ask for her ideas, the first thing our guest want to know is where did you get that cake from. They can make anything and I promise you won't be disappointed. I have told all my friends and family about them. It is great to be able to just pick up the phone and everything gets taken care of in one phone call. They deliver and set up a beautiful display. Speaking of delivery, last week was my son's 1st Birthday. We did an Sesame Street theme party. There was a major storm the night before. Electricity was out all over the island. Lisa and her husband made it a point to make sure everything went well for me and personally delivered it. When I saw the cake my mouth dropped. I thought to myself, "How do they manage to get every character to look exactly like the character.". They even gave us a little separate cake for my son. Flowerpot cakes -- greatest idea ever! I saw them in Oprah's Favorite Things section of her magazine. They are real cakes that come in three flavors ( If you use the code Oprah you get a discount on the orchid one). They are gorgeous. Even better than the cake was the service. I wanted to get my, newly single, sister a special birthday cake. We live five states away and I couldn't make one. When I got the idea it was too late to guarantee delivery in time for her birthday. I told Victoria about why this was so important to me -- she not only made it happen, but she arranged for a special card to be included. My sister is a special education teacher in CT. I sent the cake in care of one of the other teachers and she just sent me lovely picture of my sister with her cake.It was vanilla and raspberry and I hear it was fabulous. I am so happy and so touched by Victoria's generosity of spirit. I have already already ordered a cake for my mother-in-law's birthday in April. read more

Once you tell Lisa what your theme and/or ideas are for your event, watch out she begins to design baked goods to complement your affair. I ordered a few cakes and favor cookies over the years for different types of special occasions and each time I have been delighted with the results. The last set of cookies were made in the shapes of baby onesies, baby carriages, baby faces, teddy bears, and baby bottles. She made a three layer red velvet cake designed with pink and white polka dots and baby booties. She created "A Born To Shop" cake complete with shopping bags, shoes and credit card for a bridal shower. She also made an ivory three layer cake with a bow with a baby in a bassinet for me. I tried their cake before at a Wedding and knew they do flawless work and tastes great. Their expertise and service were magnificent! First I called them explaining my needs then Lisa sent me more photos of the theme that I was looking for. I basically requested two cakes to merge, +/- the details. Since I was working with a tight schedule I never had the chance to do the cake tasting. So I requested one tier of Golden Vanilla cake with vanilla mousse and raspberry which I knew it would be great since I tried it before...and to surprise me with the other tier. They chose the Devil's Chocolate Cake with vanilla mousse. But to our surprise both tiers tasted great! The cake was beautiful...the seahorse, seashells, etc looked so real I had guest asking if everything was edible?! If you like eating fondant then yes the entire cake is edible! I ordered the Oprah's Orchid cake for my mother's birthday, after reading the great excerpt about Made In Heaven Cakes in O magazine. I spoke with the owner, Victoria, and she was accommodating in every way. When I had changes in my schedule and could not pick up the cake, as I originally thought, she worked with me and we created a plan that worked. The cake itself was stellar! It was amazing looking and tasting! I chose the vanilla butter cake with vanilla mousse and raspberry preserves... Delicious! This cake made my mother's birthday dinner the spotlight of the entire restaurant, and my mother adored the attention! Dealing with Alexandra and Lisa have made a stressful situation just a pleasure. I live out of state and made all the cake arrangements via email and telephone for my god daughters communion cake. Not really being creative, I was a bit nervous as to what the final results were going to be. The only word that I can use to describe the final product is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have found my cake bakers for life. The cake was more beautiful then I expected. The taste was just as good. There was actually a bit of a tiff at the end of the night as to who was taking cake home. I HIGHLY recommend Made in Heaven Cakes for any occasion. They are such a talented team. My husband purchased a cake, cookies and cupcakes for my baby shower. He said Lisa and her husband were great. He makes the cakes and it is delicious. Most cakes I have come across looks great but tastes horrible or vice versa, not these cakes. My husband ordered my favorite red velvet cake and it was out of this world. The design of a wicker basket, blanket and baby toys were phenomenal. Since my husband ordered 3 separate items they took money off the bill. They are a great! We ordered my daughters christening cake and I can't wait to see the finished results. They are really know what they are doing. I will never order a cake from anywhere else. Made in Heaven has created over 10 unique cakes for me including such varied occasions as my shower, my wedding, my children's birthdays and some hysterical adult parties. Each cake was distinctly different and unique. From detailed flowers and lace to Disney characters, each cake was both gorgeous and delicious. They are incredibly creative and their attention to detail is fantastic! Some of you who are reading this may be thinking, "great we found an artistic baker....but what about the taste?" I want to say that Lisa, Vincent, and Veronica made my day so special. My cake was out of thisworld and everything about it was priceless. When my cake was set up everyone just started taking pictures and commenting on it, when the taste the cake people was saying mmmmmmm,oooooooo, and I love it. The cake was fresh, soft, the fillings i choose was delicious, the fondant was layered thing and it gave the cake a nice crunch. It was an over the top cake and the decorations and my style was out of this world. Victoria, from Made in Heaven Cakes, made the most beautiful and tastiest wedding cake for my daughter's wedding which took place in Montauk, NY in early October, 2015. The wedding cake was exactly what my daughter and I had envisioned, Victoria was able to interpret my daughter's ideas to perfection and it was the tastiest cake I have ever had! I went here for my daughter's first birthday cake and wanted something special and princess like. They did an awesome job on a castle cake that no one could believe it.. The club where we were having our daughter's sweet sixteen party recommended Made in Heaven Cakes. My husband, daughter and I went for a cake tasting and we all chose the vanilla cake with chocolate ganache filling. My daughter had pictures of what she had in mind and Lisa worked with her to custom design the cake. Lisa was incredibly patient and helpful. Not only was the cake beautiful to look at but it tasted delicious as well. It really was the centerpiece of the party and we displayed it the whole night. I just had a Martini themed 30th birthday party and Made In Heaven Cakes did an AMAZING job custom designing my cake!
