From the reviews, it seems like they're more known for their cakes, especially wedding cakes. Hubby tried the taro milk tea gave it a 2/5. He said the boba had no flavor but still managed to finish it (classic). I got the brown sugar milk tea fresh boba, soft and bouncy. I liked it better, but still just a 3/5 for me. The bubble teas are very basic, nothing fancy and toppings are basic (boba, aloe jelly, something else can't remember) with additional pricing. They don't use oat milk just lactaid. Cute Asian bakey/cafe. I like how serene it is inside. It's small so I would suggest coming here just yourself or with 2 other friends max for coffee/tea and dessert. They are a little pricier here - $10.95 for a matcha latte and small matcha red bean panna cotta. However, their matcha latte was exactly how I like it - not too bitter or sweet, creamy, and cozy. Their panna cotta and strawberry shortcakes are very light. The chocolate butter cakes is a bit dry and fell apart when cutting it. This is the only place I know that makes yogurt cream cakes, and it's awesome if you prefer cakes that are light and not too sweet. They are easy to do business over instagram messaging when ordering cakes. For about $170, I've gotten these amazingly looking 8x6 cakes good for 12 people. The strawberry shortcake I ordered is creamy yet not cloyingly sweet and nothing like those American-style strawberry shortcakes, as this one is more fresh and spongy. I just happened to be walking by this past weekend and saw that Ten Cake Studio was open. Yellow, yellow, yellow. The shop is decked out in wall to wall in yellow. It's very cheerful and feels exceptionally like summer. There are a few tables and chairs, one person was sitting while I was there. There's a big mirror against one wall and the pastry case against another. Everyone was wearing masks (and wearing them properly). The pastry case is STACKED. Macarons, cakes, cookies, brownies. It's got everything. There's even a selection of drinks, including teas and slushees I bought a chocolate chip cookie [$2] and a creme brûlée [$4.50]. Honestly, the chocolate chip cookie was nothing to write home about, but that creme brûlée gave me life. It's the perfect size. You don't feel like you're gorging yourself but rather you're treating yourself to something indulgent. They torch the top just as they're packing it up so it's got that satisfying crack when you tap into it. The custard had such a good texture, it was firm enough but also creamy. It was 100% delicious. If the other cakes and pastry cups are as good as the creme brûlée, I will be a frequent customer, much to my detriment LOL. read more

I walked in last minute asking if they had a cake on the spot, the lady told me they had an 8 inch tiramisu cake that could be ready in 3-5 minutes, i paid and waited over 10 minutes. she came out and asked when i would be eating the cake, i told her in about 30 minutes and she told me then the cake wouldn't need to be refrigerated. when i cut the cake, it was rock hard and frozen. i understand getting a good cake last minute is hard but she could have told me they didn't have any cakes available or the only cakes they have available are frozen instead of forcing it just to make a couple bucks. as a customer i should have the right to know that my cake would be frozen hard and be able to make the decision if i still wanted to purchase or not. i will admit the cake was pretty good but overall dissatisfied with customer service read more
