Recently tried their peach crumb pie, and it was by far the best that I've ever tasted!! cannot wait to try their blueberry and apple. My family loved it.

Our family has been going to this neighborhood bakery for over 4 decades. My father's favorite dessert was their strawberry shortcake. We continue this tradition in memory of him when we have a gathering. This year we tried the pecan pie as well. Most remarked how it wasn't overly sweet

Heard good things about the Neopolean at this bakery, so decided to give it a try. Came in to the shop and saw a wide selections of pastries, cakes and cookies. What should I get? I said out loud, the lady next to me responded: get everything. I chuckled a little and asked for the Neopolean and a chocolate covered cannoli. I thanked the lady for her positive recommendation, and left the store. The Neopolean was really tasty, inner cream filling wasn't too heavy with a subtle hint of vanilla custard. The flaky layers did fall apart fast so it made for a messy treat. I tried the chocolate covered cannoli next, it was way too sweet for my taste buds. Will come back to try their cookies and slice cakes the next time.

They must have changed their recipes due to inflation. I recently ordered a cake and napoleon for mother's day. The napoleon is definitely a a whole layer lower than before. The cake icing is hard as plain butter and only taste like butter. Also everything cost a few dollars more now.

If you're looking for a sugar fix, this is the place to go. My favorite desserts are strawberry shortcake and Napoleon. Their lattes are also delicious. Their employees are always pleasant and make me want to come back for more. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, I highly recommend stopping by this bakery.

We also love their soufflé cheesecake when we do splurge on dessert. It's kind of pricey. But worth it! I was a little disappointed with the blueberry yogurt cake - tasted stale (ugh), but the mochi donuts were yummy! This location is pretty new, less than 1 yr old. Right around the corner from Chipotle, on the 18th Avenue busy hub. Self service, tray, line with parchment, grab your goodies and pay. The staff are nice and friendly. Clean, roomy enough for customers to browse what they want but smaller than the location on 86th St. Although the price point is higher than your Asian bakery, the aesthetic and variety and taste makes it worth while. I'm a fan and be sure to join their loyalty program for treats!

**First Time Visit & Definitely Not the Last!**…read more I stopped by this location for the first time and loved the self-serve style of dining. Walking in, the space was clean with a calm, quiet ambience and light music playing in the background -- such a relaxing vibe. You're greeted right away, then directed to the plastic trays, a box of parchment paper what company will logo and your own single-use tongs. From there, you get to browse at your own pace through two beautiful display cases filled with beautiful desserts and cakes, and tarts. Also well as two fully stocked fridges filled with drinks, sandwiches, and salads (which looked SO fresh and delicious -- definitely trying those next time!). The two baristas working were incredibly friendly and engaging. They were knowledgeable about the drinks, happy to offer recommendations, and made the experience feel welcoming. They offer cakes, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate -- perfect for pairing with dessert. Now let's talk about the good part... the pastries I tried the jumbo twisted cinnamon donut, a croissant donut, and the chocolate supreme croissant. Every single one was fresh, flavorful, soft on the inside with the perfect crunch on the outside. The flavors were absolutely mouthwatering. The prices were exactly what I expected but I enjoyed the quality and overall it was such an enjoyable dessert experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat in a cozy, inviting spot. To catch up with friends, read, or study. I'll definitely be back!

The narrow storefront entrance is subtle at best, with dark windows and dim lighting. You might hesitate to pull on the door and, upon discovering it is in fact open, can't help but feel like they weren't prepared to open just yet. Being inside is no more inviting than outside. It's incredibly dark and quiet. I'm trying to recall music, but can't honestly say anything was setting a tone for this potentially charming shop. The reason I didn't hesitate to open the door was because of this pair of outdoor seats next to the front door, which I can at best describe as cozy. This cafe has a modest but high-quality RTD case, with fresh sandwiches and quick bites, and their pastries are a work of art, aesthetically speaking. And despite a rather unwelcoming storefront, the staff is warm, patient, and incredibly pleasant. I was excited to try their cold brew coffee, but they don't produce it regularly. The baristas didn't seem to know if and when they'd be carrying it again. A bit odd for a no-frills coffee shop, but I wasn't leaving empty-handed. I took the next best thing and requested an iced coffee, but was confused when I was given an iced Americano. I can deal without the cold brew coffee, settling for a rich, full-bodied iced coffee. Their roast is super earthy and hits just right for a particular coffee lover like me. But we're talking three different brewing methods, creating three entirely different tastes. It was strange that my request wasn't explained to me, as the barista proceeded to make an iced Americano, leaving me both disappointed and frustrated, regardless of whether or not this particular coffee was good. That's not what I asked for. This entire experience left me flummoxed at best. From the visually awkward welcome to the limited coffee-style options, I can only describe my experience as disappointing. I've had their cold brew before, and it was perfection. But to not have iced coffee, especially when I've already been forced to settle, is inexcusable. With all that being said, I'm hopeful and plan on returning. For me, if you have good coffee, the lights, music, and even baristas are complimentary. We will put up with anything for quality. It's the ultimate elixir. However, I expect a bake house and coffee shop to have the bare minimum. The iced Americano was delicious. The shot was perfectly pulled and had the perfect espresso-to-water ratio. But that's neither what I wanted nor what I expected. So, who cares?

Stopped by again (was closed Wednesdays when I first visited) and finally got to try the goodies!…read moreAlthough I didn't have time to find parking for a stay - it's a small cute dessert shop with limited seats. I am a fan of the pandan flavor desserts and bought two that I wanted to try. One being a roll cake and the other layer cake. The pandan roll cake with taro I was told is a specialty that they only have on weekends. It was really flavorful, moist and spongy, just perfectly touched with a dash of sweetness in both the cake and the cream - I personally don't like overly sweet foods, and this is just perfect for me and my mom. I'm equally pleased with the layer cake as well it was very fresh and have that "QQ" texture - deliciously chewy and bouncy. This too, just hit right for me on the gentle sweetness, the pandan flavor keeping the spotlight in this dessert. My mom and I are big fans of these desserts. We just came back trying out others pandan layer cakes in Downtown Flushing and this shop beats them by a large margin. I hope to come back more when we could even though this shop is quite a distance for us.

I stood there for a while and finally someone came up to the coffee counter and asked if I needed anything. I said I was simply just waiting for my online order that I placed over a half hour ago. He went over to his computer and printed it out and got started on it but doesn't really give me a lot of confidence in placing online orders in the future. They have limited hours and tend to sell out quickly, so on a Saturday I arrived around **11:40 AM**, about 20 minutes before opening, and was one of the first three customers inside (their maximum occupancy). This isn't a place to grab a quick coffee. The owner carefully prepares each drink by hand, so expect to wait about **30-60 minutes** if there's a line. I waited around 10-15 minutes after ordering, but honestly didn't mind because the space is so calm and peaceful. While waiting, I enjoyed browsing the aroma mists, smelling the candles, and just soaking in the serene atmosphere. It's the perfect spot if you're looking for a quiet moment by yourself. For drinks, I really enjoyed the **Black Sesame Latte**. It has espresso and was smooth, light, and well-balanced. I also tried the **Matcha Maple Latte**. The matcha itself tasted like excellent quality, but next time I'd skip the maple syrup since I prefer my drinks less sweet. We also sampled several pastries: * **Hojicha Cookie** - Soft and moist with melty chocolate chips. One of my favorites. * **Coffee Caramel Cookie** - Great if you love coffee. It had a rich, bold coffee flavor. * **Black Sesame Madeleine** - Nice black sesame flavor, though I would have loved a little more butter to make it even more moist. * **Yuzu Cake** - Beautifully decorated with an edible flower and packed with bright yuzu flavor. The cake was on the drier side though. * **Chocolate Cake** - Wonderfully moist and satisfying. The drinks were around **$8.50** each, and the cookies were about **$4** each, so it's definitely on the pricier side. For my Asian palate, most of the pastries leaned a bit sweeter than I prefer, but the drinks were excellent and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Overall, this is a lovely place to treat yourself once in a while. Come for the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtfully crafted drinks, and beautiful pastries.
