I love shopping at this Macy's. This store carries everything that you can look for. The prices are great and affordable. They always send me coupons and special offers. The customer service is great. I bought Marc Jacobs shoes, and had to return it since it was not very comfortable. The cashier took the shoes back without asking for the reason of return. I love Theresa of Clinique she did a great job getting my orders with pre sale gifts great and giving me infos that better use make up with sunscreen protection than without, she did extend her great service to my cousin in getting Clinique cologne for men. This review is on the men's restroom, its saturday at 6:00 p and the only restroom in this huge place is CLOSED for cleaning, im standing with a dozen guys outside so thatbthey can clean it. Does it have be be closed to be cleaned? Second, we're all waiting, then 10 minutes later, some guy, comes out, a shopper, with a bag and everything, we all look at each other, since the doir has a cleaning sign. Then, 10 seconds after, the cleaning lady comes out, which explaines why it was closed, since ut was a girl cleaning person, but then how tgat customer was in there at the samebtime? What was going on in there while we were all waiting? Then the girl comes out all not in a rush and doesn't speak a word of English, she's standing in the doorway and doing something, i go, are you done? Can we go in and she's looking at me as if I'm speaking Japanese, it was really annoying. We all rushed in like hungry hainas on a baby deer. read more

Macy's in the Glendale galleria helped me look professional and get a job!! This customer rep. lady named Zoya helped me find the perfect skirt and top for my interview. She was going to leave or go to lunch or something, but when I approached her, she was so nice and polite and she took the time to help me find a skirt and a matching top for my interview. I thanked her so much and she was one of the nicest, most helpful ladies I've met. I got an interview outfit that fit my budget. I'm very thankful to her! :) read more

I have been to many, many Macy's across the country and shop at our local stores on a regular basis. Including, but not limited to the Pasadena store on Lake, the Pasadena store at Paseo, Arcadia, West Covina, Cerritos, Lakewood, Eagle Rock, Montclair, Victoria Gardens, Burbank, Westminster, etc...I think you get the idea. I HAVE NEVER seen such a gross, disgusting, filthy, nasty, dirty, disorganized store. This was not during a single visit, but multiple visits....Only because I skate in Glendale and sometimes have to use the Glendale store. They have a lot of merchandise, but the amount of time it takes to dig through the piles of wrinkled clothes and the overflowing racks of items that have no organization whatsoever is frustrating and ridiculous. The dressing rooms are always so packed with clothes on the floor and clothes strewn all over the place, there is never any place to hang any of the items that are brought in to be tried on, if you have several hours to dig and lucky enough to find something to try on. The "go back" racks are three to four deep, again with no organization and actually have to be pushed around to move through the store to get from department to department and into the dressing rooms. It is virtually impossible to find any employees to help, and in many cases the customer service sales counters are vacant. And the shoes, there is no way in God's green earth, to find anything especially when there are sale racks....I scrolled through most of these yelp comments and see that this issue seems to be a common theme for most customers. Doesn't anyone in this store ever review their customer service comments on Yelp? And why is this store the only one that is so nasty? I think they not only need someone from the corporate office to review the store, I also think they need a visit from the health department! read more

if only I could give 0 stars. the experience I had at this macys is unbelievable, specifically the shoe department. there were shoes, trash, and food on the floor. I waited 20 minutes to get my shoes and the man brought the wrong color so I told him and he said he would get the correct one but he decided to ring up 10 people before even attempting to get my shoes. well, just my luck a women brought out a box with the wrong size and color and IT ONLY HAD ONE SHOE. I just had it and gave up. They lost the sale. Their excuse was "we are busy." That is not a valid excuse. I hope management reads this message because they should focus on providing decent service at minimal to buying customers instead of profit maximization. read more

I wouldn't even open a Yelp account if it wasn't that horrible shopping experience at Macys. First of all I would like to say that a few days ago it was my first time shopping at Macy's and i hate it. I shopped everywhere because i enjoy shopping and this was the worst trust me. The Lady Working in the 1st floor the bag and glasses department is awful. Her name is NAIRA. She was kind of short Armenian lady. I had a bag on hold and when i asked for it she didn't even give me any response instead she just walked away as if I was suppose to guess she's getting the bag. She has such attitude problems that was shocking for me. She annoys you with that macys account so you can open one. She gives you these rude looks and attitude. wow i was just shocked of how low the customer derive is and if Im not mistaken she was a manager or supervision there. So I would like to say that adults like these who work in these big stores should be more educated and nice. NAIRA is a horrible example for everyone working around there because she is so rude and her weird looks make you feel totally uncomfortable. I would NEVER go back again to this Macy's because I don't want to see rude people like this who instead of helping make you hate their store. This review is solely for MARY, ass. #10238311, at the cosmetics counter. Her service was horrible along with her attitude, and I'm sure not to return to this store ever again along with all my family and friends. First of all, her demeanor and attitude were very negative and snappy. She hastily threw my items in a bag, then I reminded her that she had forgotten some of the items that I bought, and she hastily threw them at me, with no bag, no wrapping, no receipt, no common courtesy, no smile, while at the same time claiming "I'm busy". I don't care if you're busy or not. The whole reason why you get to work there is because of me and the likes of me, and unless I (the customer) am satisfied, I will not be coming back again. Most of us in one way or another work with others, and we all know that you leave your personal problems at home when you come to work, because your customers have their own personal problems and don't need to be subjected to your problems on their leisurely hours. Mary's service was horrible, and unless the management does something about it, I am never EVER going back to this store, and neither are my friends and family. read more

I so frustrated and outraged with Macys as a company. I actually used to work there for 7 years and had I treated a customer like I have been treated over and over the past 24 hours I would have been fired!!! I called to order a pair of shoes for my daughter that showed in the Santa Rosa store who never and I mean never picks up their phones. Then I connected to the online order dept twice to only be asked as a customer if I could look up the phone number of a Macys store for them to call !!! REALLY!!! So I actually googled the phone number on two separate occasions for these ridiculous employees to call the store. Not once other than Jason from Fairfield did anyone pick up a phone and help me. I asked to be transferred to a manager and held for 15 min for nothing. Macys you are not what you were and just lost a loyal customer !!! Get a clue what customer service is. We all were striving for outstanding customer service when I worked there. Now no one cares. read more
