My very favorite nail place in Austin- and actually my favorite out of the 4 major cities I've lived in - SF, LA, Scottsdale and here! The owners are the kindest, most accommodating people. I always receive top attention and the quality of the mani/pedis are unprecedented. They have a huge assortment of gel colors, and they take their time in gel removal, leaving my nails in top shape every time. The LUXE Pedicure is the best, but the classic is excellent and gets you in and out. Their massage chairs are the highest quality - feels like an actual message. They always have HGTV playing which is nice to watch something you actually like. Been coming here for over 5 months now for pedicures and acrylic nails. Always great, friendly service and they have tons of color choices! They really care about the customer and service they are providing; making sure I approve of the color, nail shape, etc. I recommend calling for an appointment since they get pretty busy (because they're so awesome) during peak hours, unless you don't mind waiting more than 10 minutes. read more

My first time here 7/18 and the paint is already chipping. I chose this nail salon because it was between work and home and they got me in a chair within 10 mins as a walk-up (probably the only plus). I simply would not pay more than $15 for the "Luxe" Pedi I received here, that ended up being $40 with a $5 tip (I normally tip more, but didn't feel like this particular nail tech earned it). Her file job was careless and she didn't ask about my preferred nail length. The massage was weak and quick, she didn't cover my feet entirely with the paraffin wax, and I'm pretty sure she didn't put on a clear top coat. What they did do was confirm that my regular nail gals (KB Nails in Bee Caves) are the best I've found in Austin so far. Maybe Luxe is as great as most of the reviews and I just got a bad tech that day. Oh well, bad enough that I won't be back. read more

I would give zero stars if it were an option. The lady named Rosanna at the front was incredibly hostile and unwelcoming when my group of three walked in for our pedicure reservations. She rolled her eyes at us when we asked where we were supposed to pick our nail colors, and blurted out which number seats we were supposed to take. She continued to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and talk about us loudly at the front desk with coworkers and another customer who was also rather hateful. We decided to walk out and take our business elsewhere because no one deserves to be treated so horribly when they are coming to pay for a service. Rosanna should not be allowed to work in customer service with such a terrible attitude and no professionalism. We did not even stay 5 minutes and barely said a word and were treated terribly. My friends, family, and I will never give this place our business again!! read more

Hmmmm, last time I was there, the technician cut the edge my big toe (left) too deep and I even bled.......... She put some blue liquid on the wound, but she then continue to put my left foot in the water. No! I don't want to put an open wound in water, which you tried to believe is clean and too afraid to know the truth. The bleeding stopped after 1-2 minutes, but it still hurt!!! In the end, they charged me the full amount. The only thing I got was "I am sorry.". I didn't push it because I've seen the same technician twice or so, and she was really professional and careful the first two times. I didn't want her to get into trouble, but the way she reacted to it is still unacceptable. If I didn't know this person, I would definitely push the issue. I put Neosporin on the wound right away when I got home, but the second or the third day, the pain got worse and the edge of my big toe was swollen. I went to see a doctor on the third day right away, because I know if I leave this infection untreated, it will become really really bad. I got antibiotic pills and creams from the doctor. Luckily, after using antibiotic for 3-5 days, my big toe was getting better and no more pain. read more

Really like this place a LOT. TONS of color options.... like toooo many! Seriously! Lots of Shellac options, gel, etc. Prices are spot on, parking is easy, and the staff is super friendly. I've seen ladies come in with their little girls, and the staff is always happy to accommodate a 'kids pedi' which is really cute! (think panda chair with foot bath). Staff is right amount of chatty in my opinion. No Angelah Johnson 'why you no get no french manicure' stuff going on. They have all the prices printed on a laminated flyer which they hand you so you can pick the type of pedi you'd like, and it clearly states the what the services are. Very helpful as sometimes I feel they just quote me a random price for a 'special' pedi. They sometimes offer a beverage, sometimes they forget. It's not a big deal to me. I'll ask if I'm thirsty! I get their standard $25 dollar pedicure and a shellac mani for $29, so total I spend $54 and then leave a tip as well. I was very flattered that they recognized me earlier this week because it was my second time there and it had been 5 months since my first visit. The best place for NexGen manincures, Ivy is the best! Great selection of polish, including up market brands like Dior, Butter, and even Smith & Cult. The shellac and NexGen colors are vast, Ivy is great if you need help choosing a color. The organic spac pedicure is super relaxing. This salon is busy so if you want a quiet environment, bring your earphones. It is busy because they are good and care about the customer's experience. I really didnt want to have to leave a bad review. I think the people at this place are crazy nice. And prices are good. With that being said I do not recommend going here. The first time I went my toes immediately smudged and the nail polish came Off. I am not rough on my feet. This was just not a good polish job. I had them wax my eyebrows and they literally took NOTHING off. My brows looked exactly the same. About two weeks later I was desperate and came back for my brows and upper lip. The lady was so incredibly rough that she ripped my skin off and I am still healing 3 weeks later. I then really needed my nails fixed. I get SNS. I didnt want to go back to this place but again was desperate and it is very close to my house. So I gave it a shot. I was there for 3 and a half hours!!! Youd think my nails would be beautiful after this. NO!! This is the worst job I have EVER EVER had done to my nails! I should have not let her continue doing them. Many other woman in the salon at the time were complaining about the quality and atleast one walked out. I think the people are crazy friendly but I would not go there. I didn't have any serious gripes with this salon, they did a good job taking off my old shellac manicure and shaping and applying a new shellac color. I still did some touch up nail filing on my own when I got home. The ladies inside were friendly and didn't pressure me too much to keep a convo going (I don't know if I'm the only one but I prefer to just stare at the TV when I get a manicure). The location is in a 'meh' spot, overall it's just nothing better or worse than any other average salon. If they were open later hours I would consider going back after work. read more

New favorite place! My best friend and I came for pedicures and the workers there were so nice. I was a little early but they whisked me right back to the pedicure baths while I waited for my friend. They've got a great selection of polishes, the classic OPIs and Essies, but behind the counter they've got the designer polishes like Butter, Marc Jacobs, Julep, Dior, etc. I picked out a punchy yellow by Butter for my toes and turquoise for my hands. My technician didn't hardly speak any English at all, but was very sweet and smiley. Great leg massage, but I second the comments on the massage chair! Be sure to turn off the butt massager (unless you're into that)! Lol for $25 for the pedi and only $10 more to add on the mani, I am a very happy girl. It seemed very clean inside, and I liked how they have the tool sanitizer up front where you can see it doing it's job! I got a manicure here this past weekend. I had a great time talking to the guy doing my nails, he was so friendly. I also liked the color selection, they had the butter brand polish which I like. They had a special chair for my six year old niece to get her pedicure done, and she had a great time. My manicure cost $13 which I really can't complain about. This place seemed great from the start, seemed clean and the people were friendly enough but it quickly went downhill. First I had a specific time I had to be finished by and asked if they had time for both a mani and pedi they said yes and were not done on time. However the bigger problem is the woman grabbed my foot so hard it is bruised and I can barely walk. Seriously super painful. I asked her to be more gentle which didn't really seem to help. I think they recently opened, fancy new chairs which are nice. Be sure to turn off the seat massage, unless you want your butt kneaded. The place was clean, prices were good, and they also had high-end polish selection (Deobrah Lippman, butter, etc.). The girl rushed through mine a bit, so the polish was uneven. I pointed it out to them and they immediately re-did it, no questions asked, and they made sure to check if I was happy with it at the end. First off, I love this place. I usually hate getting my nails done. I might be the only person who hates Mani/pedis. The few times a year when I force myself to finally take care of my Hobbit feet and unsightly cuticles, I usually stick to something neutral. Well I got an itch to do this gold glitter design. I knew I wanted to try dipping powders because I am pretty tough on my nails and normal polish chips and gel polish is such a pain to remove. I did some research and landed on Luxe because they had their pricing on the website and who has time to call places? So anyway, I made plans to go early in the morning right after they opened to avoid the rush. Well my stepdaughter had other plans to sleep in. So we finally rolled in to Luxe at around noon on a Saturday. Prime nail salon time! But surprisingly, I showed them what I wanted and stepdaughter showed picked out some colors and within ten minutes they had us both sitting and working on our nails. Maria was amazing. She applies the dipping powder like an artist making me feel like each nail is a piece of art. Every time she does them I can't stop looking at them. I get so many compliments. Nice nail salon . $25 for a "classic pedicure " I called while I was in the area and they said I could come in for a pedicure without and appointment . When I arrived I had no wait but I wasn't the only one there either . They had a nice selection of colors and my nail technician did a good job . I was offered water about 15 min after entering , a little later than I had hoped after it being so hot outside but I appreciated that they asked . Overall the staff was friendly and I will probably return . My reason for 4 stars is simply because my toe nail polish has chipped with hardly 24 hours of usage . read more

This salon has poor customer service. My stylist spent the whole time gossiping with her coworker. Her coworker complained to me the whole time that I was moving, although at times I held my breathe to make sure I didn't mess it up. This was uncomfortable. They both put blame on my finger being naturally crooked when she finished with my full set. They didn't give me the name of the stylist or a manager to speak to. I had to pay without a proper fix. I am getting this full set for my engagement party. I am very unhappy with this experience and will not recommend this for anyone. read more

The only part of my experience that I would give 5 stars to is how friendly everyone was. As for quality of service though... I've had much better. Maybe it was just the older woman I had the whole time but if I wanted a pedicure I could have done myself then I would have done it myself. The massage part of the pedicure was great but she hardly did anything to my feet besides a quick massage and polish. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GET A FRENCH TIP GEL MANICURE HERE. I'm sure it would look great if I got a solid color but this is literally the worst french tip mani I've ever had. It looks like I tried to do it myself.
