Wanted something to pamper myself. I don't think my technician spoke English, and I don't think there's sanitization going on in this location. I asked for the nails to be the same length as the shortest nail, but they are all different lengths Couple of my nails were cut crooked. She did a pretty good job cleaning the cuticles. Absolutely no nicks or cutsLeft me under the dryer and then let me go without putting oil around the cuticles, leaving a dry strip around each nail from the strong chemical acetate she wiped around each nail after painting. Mostly paranoid about the lack of sanitization. Other clients were presented with a basket of color samples, which I didn't see till after picking a color that was so-so. Won't be back. read more

Disappointed. Went today for the first time, after seeing many positive reviews. My pedicure was ok. My daughter's was botched. We're talking toenails not filed at all (still as jagged and uneven as before), and only one coat of polish- you could see through to the actual nails. But the worse part was my "full face wax" which I've had at another salon a million times. Long story short, I have to go to my usual place tomorrow to get the job finished. Huge patches of skin untouched. I don't wish this experience on anyone. read more

I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy. I had called 30 mins before to ask if I needed to make an appointment and they said to just walk-in. The guy that did my pedicure was great, thorough and gentle. He was then told to swap out with someone else who wanted to do my manicure so that they could get through the line of people that was soon amassing. He was so rushed and rough that his colleague even commented to him (in Vietnamese), slightly aghast, that he was being so rough with the hand massage and basically slapping on moisturizing lotion to rush me out the door. I left with bits of gel polish on several fingers, and two days later, the gels had already started to peel off as he hadn't applied enough primer/adhesive. This place can be great if you come at a quieter time, but be forewarned that if you come at rush hour, you'll probably be rushed through. Even those that had prebooked appointments for this time were left waiting 15-20 mins because they didn't want to turn walk-ins away. read more

I've been here several times & love it! I always receive great service from every employee. Even when they are very busy they make it a priority to get everyone in as quickly as possible. The attention to detail they give their clients is awesome, it's hard to find a nail salon that really takes the time to make sure they prep everything well (cuticles, filing, etc). I normally get gel polish and it last ~3 weeks. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good salon in Austin! read more

I needed a pedi bad. Quick run down I needed my feet shown some love lol. So I woke up around 9:30 thinking my normal place would be open. Well I didn't take into account Labor Day. They were closed. I was so looking forward to some self care Sunday. Well I came across this place with an open sign and thought I would pop in. I walked in around 10:50 and they totally weren't open yet ‍ Nevertheless the lady asked how she could help and I asked for a basic pedi. She asked if I could wait a few mins while she set up. I was totally fine with it. Well we start. 1st the price was nice I didn't the step up from basic so was $45 and the work was perfect. I'm barefoot a lot of the time and end up with dry heels. She was not nervous and went in. It felt amazing. Not to mention they did t have any random shows playing but rather nice calming music with videos of landscapes. I've been coming here for months, and it's always a 10/10! Not only is every person here so kind and wonderful, but they all do a phenomenal job every time. The wait is never long, nothing is ever icky or unsanitary, the selection is great, and I dream about the massage chairs in the pedi station Every art technician obviously cares about their craft, are down to have fascinating conversations with you, or just chill depending on your energy levels. I liked the time they took on my feet, but they didn't get all my dead skin off my heel. I had a nail chip a week after they were done. They redid it for free, but the polish didn't match. They do take the time and overall a good experience. ALSO, for a wax: eyebrows, lip, and chin. Eyebrows were so great!! My chin hairs have grown back though. It's been a week. I've been here twice for gel polish changes. It's $25. Not a manicure, just a polish change. Kali was my nail tech both times. The 1st time she did a wonderful job and my nails remained chip free for dang near a month. The 2nd time they chipped, peeled, and broke within 7 days. I don't know what she did different but I'm highly disappointed. They are supposed to be chip free for 14 days... I've gotten my eyebrows done here on my first visit and Kali did a fabulous job! Best eyebrow waxing I've ever had. I'll be back for the wax but I think I give up on gel polish. It gets really busy in here. Make an appointment or go early in the day. read more

Was brought here by a fellow Yelper who loves herself a bargain. Super Star Nails delivered us quality, almost bullet-proof pedicures in luxury, for under $30. Viva the cheap-o spa pedicure! The TV is set to trashy daytime fare. The magazines, gossipy and current. The selection of polish colors is as wide as the Texas horizon, and no one made a peep when my pedi-pal took the miracle can of air that prevents dings on freshly polished fingers and toes and sprayed it on herself for a few minutes. Great service, decent prices, in a low-key but very relaxing setting. Coming here for manis or pedis will also set one up for a decent lunch/dinner out as there are some decent selections in this shopping center, from Korea House to the Alamo Drafthouse! read more

I decided to get my nails done here after my errands for a quick manicure. They were able to take me in right away. It was difficult trying to find the swatches for the gel colors, as they were very vague on directing customers. They would point in an unknown area. I was unsure myself. And I saw it happen again with another customer. So I directed her. I didn't like how she kept on using nail polish remover around my cuticles. Now my nails are already fading at the cuticle, not the crisp lines. Also, I tried the glitter to make, but I am realizing that stuff falls of immediately after. Poor choice on my behalf. I also went in to get my nails done a few days before the wedding. But they are already fading and they don't even look decent for the day of. I'm very disappointed. I've gotten gel before and usually the gel stays on well, as long as the person paints cleanly. Overall, this place is a bit pricey for their quality. The staff don't seem very welcoming either. I enjoy chatting with the people, but no one talks. I think since this place is located at a good spot, it can keep with the business. He cleared up an inflamed toe and the foot massage was incredible. He actually took time to slowly work my feet. Most salons will give you a good rub down while having side convo. I come in every 2 weeks without appointments, typically in the mornings and there usually isn't a wait. The staff is very friendly, Lee and Kim always acknowledge you as soon as you walk in. My nails always look very clean, I've never had a nail break and the shellac polish rarely chips off. I get many compliments and have told several people about this nail salon. Why must the owners bring their screaming kids to their spa business? My ears are still ringing from having to sit 30 minutes next to screaming kids, unrestrained.
