Clean and comfortable. Decorated really nicely, not at all tacky. I just moved to the area and need a nail salon closer to our new house and gave this a shot after a recommendation from someone. I get Nexgen done every 3 weeks and this salon had a fantastic selection of colors. I was there for about an hour and 15, was offered something to drink and spent about $42 with tip. I made an appt but saw others just walk in and get seated immediately. read more

It was awful. The lady that did my nails had never done what I asked for, so I had to take time out of my day to go back and get them fixed. On top of everything it was super expensive. I am never going back. Do not recommend it read more

AMAZING! i can't believe how good they did on my nails. the nails haven't chipped within a week!

Very nice nail salon just opened a few weeks ago. Friendly staff, very clean and really nice decor. Great selection of nail polish colors. Enjoyed the tropical pedicure that I got. With over 20 pedicure chairs this place can accommodate a large group. I will definitely be back. read more

Nice on the inside but I think they may have changed management and the service is not good. I used to be someone who came in often, but no more. I came in on a Sunday for a pedicure and it wasn't busy. Someone put me in a chair and my feet in water but I was sitting there for over 40 min before anyone came to start on my pedicure. Then the manager tried to come over and tell me it was because people who had just came in had an appointment when I didn't. Which even if they did have an appointment, they came in after I had already been waiting for 20+ min. So that's not a good excuse. The lady that did my nails when they did finally get to me did a good job, but the rest of the experience cancelled that out. This is not the first time I've had bad service here. The last time I came for a mani, the girl who did my nails kept looking around and getting up to do other things. There are better nail salons out there with way better service. Spare yourself and go somewhere else read more

This is actually my second visit to Nail Lua, but my first review. The salon is very nice, very well kept and clean. TV's on each wall to occupy guests but muted because they play lovely acoustic music for ambiance. My first visit was a traditional pedicure with their 20% off promotion when they first opened this Parker location. Yesterday I went in for a gel manicure and the organic pedicure (coffee-cappuccino). Going to a company Christmas dinner later this week so I wanted to be "festive". Both times I was a walk-in and greeted almost as soon as I walked in the door. Since I was trying something new for the holidays I asked their opinion on colors since I already had an idea in mind. Very happy with the outcome. Kelly did my manicure and Ann did my pedicure. Both ladies are very nice, quiet. They took their time and did a fantastic job. I will definitely be requesting them in the future and recommend them to anyone else as well. Literally no complaints. Since it's still a relatively new location in a small business district, it's still a little unknown so it's kind of a hidden gem. read more

Luxe Nail - Gel manicure for a company holiday party - Nail Salons Near Me - Plano, Texas

I really wanted to love this place. It's beautiful. But I got a gel mani last month that began lifting after 6 days. Tried it again today and the gel is right up on my cuticles, my pinky has a giant blob of color. Uneven color and I've already had to file a sharp spot. I do not recommend this salon for gel/shellac nails. read more

Terrible customer service!!! We waited for over an hour for them to fix one nail that broke on vacation. They Helped five other people that came in after we did. read more

Today I went to this nail salon with my mom the lady that did my nails did pretty quickly (about 5 seconds to scrub each of my foot not counting the things she put on my feet) about 6 minutes to massage both of my legs so basically about 6 minutes to do my nails and massage each of my legs. I think she should treat her customer better and give more times to do pedicure. I was done before my mom even got started. I paid 42 dollars for this less then 15 minutes Pedicure and it's not even that good and has a finger print on it. read more

Not a good place to come. I came there on Saturday to fix one of my broken nail, and they let me wait so long. Not worth your money, go some where else!!! read more

I go here every two weeks. Not sure if it's a new owner of just poor management. Took my kids and Mother in law on Saturday for pedicures. The same girl I had a previous encounter with did my pedicure. Absolutely terrible. She never did the leg massage and my paint job was lumpy and just plain awful. I plan to call the owner Monday read more

I came here once and wasn't very please I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted and it had holographic nails which she told me the didn't have and I saw the pictures and they do apparently have holographic but also my nails weren't shaped right were lopsided I came back a second time for a refill and was very disappointed ! I asked for the same shape (coffin)but different color . What I came out with was squared and lumpy nails when I showed my friends they said it was a waste of money since I didn't get what I wanted . Will not come back here again read more

Needed some stress relief & foot care while relative was having long surgery across the street at the hospital. Popped in w/o appointment and had one of the best pedicures in a loooong time from Holly. I paid basic +$5 for extra callus removal and was pleased (so many places charge for extras & don't deliver!). Also, she didn't do that thing where they don't paint to the cuticle so that you have to go back sooner. It's been 3 weeks & still look great. read more

I came in with my daughter to get gel mani/pedis- first time to this salon since we just moved to Plano.... The girls that did my daughter's nails were great. The guy that did my mani was great but the guy that did my pedi sucked... I told them he didnt do a good job and they asked what pedi I picked and sais it was because i had dry feet... Um, no. I get pedicures all the time. None of that should matter, I just paid you, my feet should look good. And no one has ever saud I have dry feet and that should not be your response!! Kelly, the girl that did my daughters nails saud she would redo it for me. So I came back in today and she wasnt here so another lady re-did it for me. I would have tipped her but she just walked away and never said a word to me. Every other place I've gone in Dallas usually puts my flip flops on and checks to see if my toes are dry so I am able to leave and not mess up my toes. So i asked another lady if she would check and slip my shoes on for me, she jerks ny foot and and pushes my shoe and and I said wait, dont mess up my toes, she puts my shoe down and walks away and walks up to the lady that did my toes. Comes back ans gives my a dirty look anf says " if I mess them up Ill fix it" and them proceeds to put my shoes on. Very rude people that work here except Kelly and the guy that did my nails!! I will never be back. read more

I absolutely love this place. I always ask for Kim and she does an amazing job. The costumer service is awesome upon arrival. They get the job done right and quick. Highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went to get a pedicure and nexgen nails. The gentleman at the counter gave me the colors and said here, for these you can get gel on your toes too so you can have the same color. I said oh ok cool. I pick my color and my nail tech comes over and said that isnt nexgen. Also, I requested Jenny but that was not the same Jenny I have been to before. I chose a new color for my nails but I really liked the original color I picked so I kept that for my toes. Fast forward... i go check out and my total was $20 more than I expected. I asked him why and he said you got gel. I said the gel polish was $20?!?! He said yes, I was wondering why you got gel. Ummm hello.. .you first showed me the gel colors for my TOES! I said well it would have been nice to be aware. Needless to say I will not be going back. read more

I've been going to this place on and off since they opened. Recently I've been noticing there care for sterilization has fallen off. I stopped in for a quick $15 manicure and noticed the tool kit the technician brought over was not sterilized just packaged. I'm familiar with sterilizing instruments and know for a fact each sterilized package is left with a significant mark or black check to indicate sterilization was successful. I made it known to the technician is was not a sterilized instrument kit but she continued to tell me it they are all clean because they place them in a bucket with blue cleaning solution. Indicating not sterilized! I asked her to give me a new kit which I could clearly see this one had been sterilized. I can't afford a higher priced manicure much less afford to lose my nails due to infection being contracted thru poor sanitization. Needless to say I'll have to find a new place. They have lost their spark and when it comes to sanitization this is critical to the customer. Sorry Nail Lua but you lost a customer. read more

Great place! I got a mani/pedi & they were fast, friendly, even after inhad to return for a touch up the same day; nice experience altogether :) read more

I started coming here a year ago when I moved from Frisco to West Plano. Wonderful service for the majority of the time I've been a customer, however, the service lately has gone downhill. I get pedicures and nexgen regularly, but the quality of work has been hit or miss. When I ask for a thinner nexgen job I am met with attitude and dirty looks. My pedicures have been less than relaxing or completed. When I went last weekend for a pedi, instead of using the little cuticle tool on my toes, the nail tech literally tapped each toe with it instead of actually using it, then moved on to half way massaging my feet. Polish was spotty and sticky. They have beverages but have rarely been asking if anyone would like anything. If I pop in for a polish change the ladies act as if I'm wasting their time. I am a regular, coming in at least three times a month and I tip well. This salon is a few blocks from my house which made it super convenient, too. Disappointed to say the least. Moving on to a new spot. read more

It makes me sad to write this review however, I feel the salon should know (hopefully they read this). We moved to this area of Plano a little over a year ago. I had been going to my old salon for over 5 years and was apprehensive about finding one as good. When I first walked into this salon, I was amazed at how nice it was and the techs seemed nice as well. I made a connection with two of the techs, one for pedi, one for mani. I made repeat appointments with them over three months. Then, I found out neither one works there any longer. So, I used two more techs that were good (Crystal and Moon) and was happy again. Three months later, they are gone!!! What gives??? The last time I went in they gave me a random nail tech that was awful!! She threw my hands around and blew her breath like she was annoyed. I wanted a soft pink and ended up with neon pink. I told her I didn't like it and she told me it would get lighter (???). When I checked out I told the clerk "no tip" and that I didn;t like my tech and they just shrugged. I guess the nail business is so overrun now it's hard to find a good salon. read more
