Please BEWARE when booking any service here. My appointment was cancelled an hour before the scheduled time, after I had already left home. Upon reaching the place, I was told that my appointment was "cancelled automatically by their booking system". How does this even happen? The lady at the store that if I chose to continue with the appointment and if someone came in, they'd leave my service mid-way and attend to the new client. How is this place even working with such shoddy business practices??? Why provide reservation options when the place will cancel an hour before?? Or why not have enough staff to ensure bookings are fulfilled? Found a much better and honest salon in this area. read more

I come here to get my eyebrows threaded. The staff is great and very pleasant to work with. They are quick and professional. During the holiday season, it's recommended to make an appt, or you'll be waiting a while as a walk-in, but all in all will continue to come here to get this service. read more

This is a threading store close to my home that I have used before. They have a walk-in service. The staff has entered my information and I was instructed on my last visit to enter (check with services requested). When I opened the door and started using the kiosk a woman came right behind me. She was greeted compared to me and said she hadn't been in the spaces for years. They told her to sign in and she mentioned that this young lady arrived before me. They waved her off and took her to a chair. The customer again inferred that she wasn't following and didn't want any issues. She told her it would be fine and began starting her service. Now there were two staff members and the other person went to the back and never returned as I sat down. Then, I sat down and started thinking how rude this was of the staff of Brow Pros. My money wasn't green enough for them today. Brow Pros. are not professional, and the sense of privilege they executed was distasteful. The thought that I would in fact wait for the next person in queue is blatant discrimination. It's also highly unethical. Brow Pros discounted my worth as a potential paying customer. I wonder if this is a trend for them since it gave me $10.00 off the service when I checked in via Yelp. My observation is that you could use the business. I took agency over my situation and used Yelp to find another waxing service less than 2 miles away. There was no way I would trust these women with such a delicate task. They could care less about me. Since they did not bother to address me I made my appointment right there and walked out. I also tried to call the number listed, but it is busy. It's really hurtful because I always want to patronize a business close to home, women-owned, and person of color. read more

I've gone to this spot 3x with the same lady & although she would get my shape right she would cut my skin (accidentally). I finally got tired after the third try & went elsewhere. I went back last week to give them another try & I'm so upset with how the new lady left my eyebrow! I just wanted a clean up & she thinned them out! The fact that she knows her customer's by name is phenomenal. She also leaves you with tips and tricks to ensure you get the most out of your brows! The facility itself is very clean and welcoming. Usually they do a splendid job. They hired someone new recently who made one eyebrow look paper thin and the other look normal and thick, and then when I pointed that out she insisted that it's just the aloe Vera gel that made it look so assymmetrical. I asked Atula there to kindly fix it, which she did by making the other one paper thin too. There was nothing else she could do at that point other than that. Atula does a good job and I will be asking for her service in the future. I have ethical dilemmas about posting the name of the person to avoid. But just be aware that not all of the eyebrow artists are the same. If this is your first time going here I would ask how long they've been working there before agreeing to their service. read more

I came here today expecting to get my eyebrows atleast HALF WAY decent and left pissed as hell. I got my eyebrows done by Sara and honestly she did not know what she was doing. I got a tint and threading. I spent an HOUR there because she kept having to redo them over and over. She kept saying because when i came they were uneven. Which they were not that bad at all where she couldnt even shape them. I let my eyebrows grow out for a month, so she had a great foundation. I wasted $20. They only took off $10 for the threading. Had the moisturizing facial done and I enjoyed it. My only two wishes were that they played some soft gentle music during the facial. I feel that would really enhance the relaxation! The spa vibes were lacking a little. Also, when the facial began they had to get everything in the room ready. It would have been nice to have everything ready and begin right when it started. After reading so many good reviews about Atula and Maya I decided to give Brow Pros a try especially since I'm new to DFW area. Walking in I was greeted by Atula who was busy with another customer so I requested Maya. Based on the services I received from Maya I wasn't all that impressed nor was I completely unsatisfied. The job she did on my eyebrows was just OK. Nothing really to rave about. I hated that I had to coach her so many times about what was wrong with my eyebrows to get them to be halfway decent. Also, I told her I wanted to use my Yelp coupon but that was completely ignored. Once I was able to pull it up she already ran my card and told me that I couldn't use it. Even though it was only $2 it would have been nice if she would have acknowledged the fact that I had coupon offer and gave me time to pull up the offer. With all that said I will come back but only to give Atula a chance to change my heart about BrowPros. I've been here twice. I've always been very pleased with the threading service here - it is professional and affordable. They gave me a 30% student discount, which was just icing on the cake. I've always walked away very happy with my new eyebrows, despite the fact that I never fail to get massive irritations on my skin from the threading. They do give you aloe, which really helps. The redness and itchiness usually go away within a day, so it's no problem. I definitely prefer this to tweezing my own eyebrows (I don't know what I'm doing, and the pain is prolonged because I'm slow), and I will never put wax on my face. I've gotten a different staff member each time, and have had equally positive experiences both times! read more

I needed a quick clean-up, and this place is about 5 minutes from my house so, I booked an appointment. Well, first booking an appointment is pointless. I'm not sure why they have you do it? I waited far past my scheduled appointment, and others who walked in after I arrived got assisted before me. Then when I finally was put in a chair, she didn't ask if it was ok to trim (trimming with scissors causes sparse brows, it's terrible). The clean-up was otherwise decent but I definitely won't be going back. My brows will suffer until I can get an appointment with my esthetician. read more

Anu and Atula are amazing. Used to give this place 5 stars but just got it done by someone else and she took off half my eyebrow. My eyebrows are my favorite feature and Atula and Anu do amazing but DO NOT go to anyone but them. This lady was awful at threading, I have been getting my eyebrows and full face done for years. I then asked to get them tinted to make it look a little better and she left dye above my eyebrows as well, I left crying and she did not care one bit. Never going to this lady again.
