I like shopping at Lush Cosmetics. The store is very fragrant and has natural ingredients. They have various products to choose from. For example skin care, bath bombs, soaps, exfoliators, shower gels, moisturizers, hair products and more. A quick stop at Lush to buy Bake Alaska Soap and my favorite exfoliator. Soap is sold by its weight.The soap bar had pleasant scent and creamy texture. The exfoliator was really perfect. My skin was very fresh, glowing and smooth after using it The staff were genuinely warm and very helpful. It was really relaxing to shop there and had an excellent service too. read more

I walked in for the first time in years to get a gift for my friends and had a specific list and lowkey was stressing out because I had no clue what I was doing/looking for. CHARLES made the experience from stress to simplicity and efficiency! This is the closest Lush location, so by default, I get 99% of my Lush products here, which usually consist of their body butter, soaps, or scrubs. My last visit was on Thurs, 12/26/2024 - the day after Christmas to get some half-off goodies. Customer Service: Honestly, this is a hit or miss. I'll often walk in and be greeted by a sales associate. Sometimes, they're nice, but sometimes they are a little moody. I've been helped by a few different people at separate times. My least favorite experience was this past visit, but only because the store was busy, and I had to wait in line to get into the store due to the sale. I wasn't helped much since I primarily looked at the sale items. However, the lady who rang me up wasn't necessarily the nicest. She also said that I could not receive any samples today, which I was bummed about (but understandable since it was busier, but still..) :( My favorite experience was on a random day with another sales associate. I was stocking up on my usual Buffy Body Butter and, of course, asked for 1-2 samples to try out more products. We had a casual small talk when she rang me up, but once she heard it was a mental health day, she perked up and softened her demeanor. Her friendliness left a mark on me for some reason. Stephanie at this Lush location is truly the BEST! Every time I come in, she's so friendly, helpful, and makes me feel like I'm discovering something new. She totally expanded my love for the "Sleepy" lavender line (if you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out--period). She knows all the tips and tricks, and always in my favorite scents. This store is special to me not just for the products, but the team. My daughter even celebrated her birthday here--it was fun, memorable, and such a unique experience. I was greeted and assisted by Kat, who was an absolute rockstar in helping me identify gift sets, individual items, and scents for my coworkers, girlfriend's family, and close friends. I appreciate Kat's ability to take my disorganized thought processes and steer me towards products that fit my Christmas recipient's personality and scent profile while affording me choices to feel like I was still personalizing the gift selection process. This is the closest Lush to me, therefore it is the one that I go to the most. I generally don't find myself indulging in their fancy shower/bath products, as we know California is in perpetual drought, so unless I'm staying at a hotel, I'm not filling up the tub water. However, I can't help but to stop by whenever their holiday collection (both spooky and Christmas spirited). The workers here are always super welcoming and friendly, as well as helpful if you have any questions. You can smell and see everything there as well. I like that they have lots of different cuts of soap so that there's a range of affordable prices as well as bigger bars if you want them to last as well. Came back to Lush today to return the items bc frankly they smell weird when applied almost like p. The visuals are amazing and even overwhelming bc every scent and every color is hitting your senses at the same time. However, when I use these at home this stuff has a weird residual smell- all of it. It reminds me of cheap dive-bar barfly smells, except this stuff definitely is NOT cheap as far as cost. In any case I came back today to return the stuff and I knocked on the door at 11:10 - they supposed to open at 11 already. A sign was posted about the system being down etc. I waved Stacy over, one of the workers there inside, to the door. She acted annoyed but reluctantly came to the door already pointing to the sign. I told her I was returning these items- she said system is down and she doesnt know when IT is going to fix it trying to walk away already. I told her to hold on and that she can come outside get these items and do a remote return by calling lush corporate. I told her that I can also call my bank and do a charge back and let them know that the store wouldnt/couldnt do a return but that Lush would incur a merchant penalty fee. She was even more annoyed now and simpy repeated that the system is down and she didnt know when IT would fix it. Before I had a chance to respond she was already walking away. So I said alright bet. Have it your way. So I myself called Lush Corporate and spoke to a really nice guy named Aaron who apologized for the inconvenience and Stacy's attitude and did the refund quickly and easily. He sent the confirmation by email, quickly called Stacy at the store and within minutes I was handing the return items to one of the other workers who also apologized for the inconvenience and Stacy's less than professional attitude. Funny how Stacy was all up in our faces yesterday talking and yappin' away about nothing to the point we were annoyed when she was trying to make her sales quotas. She wasnt exactly friendly nor helpful just loud and overbearing. Today she could have just as easily called Lush corp like I did, but it is crystal clear she did not want to be bothered. I, the customer, had to do her job for her. In any case, we wont be returning to Lush Stacy helped to make that decision permanent. read more

I was putting together a gift for a friend and was looking around at Lush. They've got some really nice soaps and bath bombs - everything feels so luxurious! They also have nice packaging options ranging from wrapping paper and cloths to tin boxes. I didn't end up getting any of them, but it's a nice one-stop shop kind of idea for gifts. I didn't catch the names of the two women helping me out but they were really helpful and friendly, even suggesting some alternative packaging ideas for my gift. I absolutely love lush products, but your employees have really bad customer service/attitude. This is my go-to lush and I was restock some of my products. I come here every few weeks. Everytime I come, I would spend hundred. Recently, your sales people on the weekend are just not very productive. I had to ask for the product and they lack product knowledge. I had a very young employee help me out, I had to repeatedly ask for a certain product to the point I was tired of it. She didn't even recommend me any product or even try to sell me on anything. The older employee at the counter didn't even step in and help her out, she was just writing on his piece of paper. A few months ago I had awesome customer service here, she was asian and was very proactive and helpful. I would of left 5 stars, but my recent experience just dropped it to 2. Charles and Stef hosted our daughter's 12th birthday private party today and it was such a fun experience.the girls had a blast the entire time and loved both of our party hosts. This is our second party with lush and Charles and Stef went above and beyond to make it a memorable one. The games were so fun and the products we got to play with and take home were all so cute and smelled amazing. The moms couldn't stop talking about what a unique and fun experience the party was. I love LUSH - it's my go to for happy skin! I am absolutely addicted to Sleepy!! I have been to many locations and this one is my favorite for so many reasons! Everyone that works here is so helpful and kind. Especially Cassidy. Every time I go she warmly remembers me and we talk about our love of all the smells and she is so knowledgable about everything in LUSH and always introduces me to something new that fits right into my favorite smell and skin soothing categories. Just being in LUSH lifts my spirits but add in her helpful and sweet energy and it's something I look forward to! I always learn more about different products that I am curious about and have found some new favorites from her recommendations. I'm always tempted to get LUSH online when I get their emails, LOL but it's so sensory and I always feel so welcome and have great conversations with Cassidy and all the sweet LUSH crew so I resist the online shopping and go in and am always so so happy that I did. since the pasadena location closed this is the only other spot in the sgv but unfortunately this has been my least favorite lush location with some of the most polar opposite employees who are either totally inattentive or overly concerned and it's always a gamble which sales associate youll encounter when going. there's a heavily tattooed and i think also pierced dark haired woman and man who have kept the most comfortable and respectable balance between associate and customer thus far. that's probably the best way to engage with customers, by welcoming them upon entering and then allowing a respectably independent distance to shop unless otherwise needed for assistance.... it causes less stress and unnecessary forced social performance for both the customer and the employee. in my experience coming here there's a couple of associates who overly insert themselves several times as you're browsing, to the extent that it makes me wonder whether if it's a genuine effort to help or an attempt to hover around for loss prevention which is totally counterproductive when you actually want to spend your money in peace and without what feels like harassment. even if a quota is expected of employees i still don't think it's always necessary unless a customer states they have no idea what to look for or want specific scent recommendations, because otherwise most people still have a budget in mind despite how easy it is to want to overspend in here. in contrast, i came recently and was checked out by an unfriendly employee who was busy talking to other young employees in the back and seemed bothered that she had to do her job at.... work??? i go in the evenings but it wasn't before closing so i'm not sure if im encountering exhausted staff which is one thing and i totally understand, but the least you can do as a cashier is be friendly to the people who contribute to keeping your location in business. she isn't the only cashier who does this, actually most of them are like this. they don't need to make small talk or hype me up for what i purchased but the least you can do is not be completely silent and off putting until the only thing you do say to me is my total, and not even a thank you or a smile because i interrupted your conversation with a coworker you're with all day??? i completely understand how tiring customer service can be but some of the cashiers literally won't acknowledge you unless you talk to them which makes me not want to come here at all anymore even out of convenience. they're often out of stock of things other stores typically readily carry and are probably better worth the drive out to. the other stores also always throw in free samples without even being asked...... idk what it is about this store but the energy is generally between rude + unkind or fake + overbearing. read more

Years ago I witnessed someone shoplifting and told the staff. They basically told me they can't and won't stop them because they're the type of company to be okay with it.... Basically saying that the shoplifter probably needed the soaps and couldn't pay for it at this time. *gasp* Wow! I still walk inside the establishment and pay for every product I want to take home and use, though... Their products are all made from natural ingredients which makes them stand out from most other products out there. They have items ranging from lip scrubs, bath balms, and shampoo/hair conditioning bars. The ladder is my favorite when I'm traveling. No worry about possible spillage because the items don't have a single drop of liquid in them. They're so convenient. Once used, each product has their own wonderful scents that almost sets you some place serene. Their customer service is whatever. The last time I went, I was completely ignored, not even greeted. I had to wait for an employee coming from the back, redoing her hair to stop her so I could check out. read more
