I got the "aegyo sal"/shiny tear liner that I've been trying to find for awhile and I also got some nice mascara as well. They also carry other brands such as the widely loved Ishizawa Lab Nadeshiko sheet masks, face wash, etc products and the cute Country & Stream lip care items. I honestly still think that Shibuyala has the wider breadth of variety also by virtue of being the bigger store, but if you can't find it there, Takashima is you're next best bet to hit up. I've…read morebeen going to Dr Yu for YEARS and I am still just as obsessed as I was the first day that I walked in. Dr Yu is not just a Dr, he's an artist and takes so much pride in doing a job well done. It's nice knowing he won't let a single person leave without them feeling totally satisfied and beautiful. Everyone who works the front desk is so nice and kind too. They always greet you when you walk in, say bye when you leave and answer all of your questions. I love this place so much and writing this review is making me want to go back this second! I also just read in another review someone commenting on easy to locate, plenty of parking and a beautiful waiting area. I don't normally think of the logistical things, but I can second all of that! Honestly there were so many products and I felt so bad because the ingredients that I'm allergic to are extremely common in products and don't affect most people. I honestly at a certain point was like it's okay just use whatever but my esthetician literally would not let me. She made sure I read every ingredient so I wouldn't have a reaction. She wanted to make sure I was taken care of properly. She was so kind and caring and the whole staff was so friendly and helpful. The hydrofacial itself was so amazing she started off with giving me a massage. It honestly felt like lymphatic drainage for my face because I do gua sha at home. Then she brought out a steam machine and some cold roller thing. And she used a machine that felt like water was squirting into my face with air but my face didn't feel wet. I honestly don't know what was going on. Everything felt so amazing though I felt SO RELAXED. She even did extractions for me on my nose which I have not done in AGES. She said I didn't have acne just blackheads lol. I take that as a compliment to be quite honest. Once it was done my face truly looked FRESH. I was so happy with my results. Then I went to the injection room and got some Botox. They were so quick and it was as painless as Botox could be. Loved my experience here. They legit have everything here it's a one stop shop. First, the phone call to make the appointment was easy. They were polite and efficient both with booking the initial consult and with rescheduling when I needed. However, once I got to the actual appointment, I didn't enjoy their service. I arrived for my appointment at 2pm, and at the front desk was a security officer instead of a receptionist. He seemed confused by my presence and told me that everyone was out to lunch. I was confused and he told me to talk to one of the nurses, but she looked annoyed at me and told me to keep waiting in the lobby -- when I asked if they were on their lunch, she said no and to be patient. Finally, I was seen by the consultant. The consultant was very no-nonsense and didn't seem to have the patience to answer my questions. When I asked her about my concerns re: skin fat burning, she would brush them off by saying "Well, just use a different laser then". Okay, but...she didn't answer my questions or really explain the pros and cons of each laser? Ultimately, I will choose a different location. There are other places with similar pricing where you will feel valued and treated like a patient.
