Religious Lush shopaholic here! It's like Target can anyone really go into lush without spending $100 easily? Here is why I spend serious cash money every time besides the amazing products is the customer service. I've had products melt before no biggie, they educate me I call it user error because honestly I'm use to bottled shampoo so yes I've melted on my own accord soap bars, etc. I. Always understanding and great service on any platform whether online ordering or in store. So let's dive into my way overdue review. Before the pandemic oh did I have a shopping addiction at this store to where I can say I've tried almost every product. The catchy names, the fact that I can try it, the fact that the sales associates know about all these products and can recommend something different or similar or more budget friendly. I truly have missed my lush peeps. Not to mention how amazing the store smells when you walk in. All I'm missing is candles to really spend some serious cash money here. Ordering online and having in store pickup was a breeze. They make it super effortless and the store if you choose to go in or you can just grab your items at the door up to you but the store is super clean and take all the necessary COVID restrictions to keep you safe. Ordering online for delivery they also hit a home run they package everything perfectly so everything is in pristine condition when you open it. Product recommendations: Sleepy lotion- for those nights you can't sleep rub a bit on your neck, shoulders, back or wherever and I don't know what kind of magic this has in it, but it helps putting you to sleep. Beauty Sleep- this face mask is the absolute best. It smells amazing and it's similar to a mud mask but smells like roses. Skins looks gorgeous. Shampoo Bars- you cannot go wrong with any that you buy as long as dry them out right because if not it will turn into liquid soap. Trust me once you use these bad boys you will never use bottled shampoos again. Herbalism- always a great gentle face exfoliator. Again keep this baby dry not in the shower like me or it turns into mush and that's no bueno. Lastly, y'all I'm in tears! How adorbs is the staff to wish me a fabulous semester at UCLA?! So I had a horrible first week and rough start and I ordered $100 of pampering products because I needed a rest and recovery day. And the staff added this little touch to my pickup order and it was just the little pick me up I needed to transform me into the goddess I feel every time I use Lush products. Honestly I love the staff here they are truly amazing people who love their work and their clients. They really do want you to love their products and promote a greener environment so keep that in mind that we are helping the environment buying here. I stopped by Lush on Thanksgiving night when I was at the mall checking out some early Black Friday deals. I've been in desperate need of a new face cleanser so I knew lush would be the perfect place to check out . When I walked in, I was greeted by Alex immediate and we started going over my skin type and issues I've been having with it lately and she automatically started recommending me products . She showed me "Bûche de Noël" which is a seasonal face and body cleanser and she sampled it on my hand and it left my hand feeling soft and smooth. She even gave me a sample of a moisturizer that she thought would go hand in hand with the cleanser. Alex was very helpful and straight to the point in helping me . Super fast and efficient! I had went into Lush to go in and try to smell one of the new viral scents that was finally back in stock. While I was smelling it I ended up not liking it and because I didn't one of the workers gave me the most foul attitude and dirtiest look the rest of the time I was in the store until I was basically force choked away. I didn't catch her name but she had colored hair and I warn people from coming in contact with this individual because she was disrespectful to me so I could imagine the terror she would cause another customer.I hope this message reaches one of the store managers so they could to immediate action to discussing this situation and this workers attitude as this shouldn't be allowed. I have been a lush customer for almost 20 years, I love their products and have recommended them to all my family and co-workers over the year, however this last experience I had with them completely change my mind about doing any more business with them. I received a Christmas gift from one of my co-workers since they know how much I love this products, the scents however were not my favorite so I went into the Santa Anita mall store looking to exchange them in early January. I was told by a store employee that I could return them or exchange them but it would be at the current sale price which would be a 50 % value of the actual price since I did not have a receipt, I explain that it was a Christmas gift and I did not have a receipt and she stated "How do we know it was bough at the sale price" I explain to her that I received it a few day prior to Christmas so it could not be a sale item and she just say "well you want to do the exchange at the current value or not" I was so disappointed, the level of customer service in most of their stores has been so terrible over the last few years. I asked if I could have a number where I could speak with customer service to see if I could resolve the situation and I was told to look it up on line. The products are great, no doubt, but customer is as important or more so to not only attract new customer but to keep their current loyal ones. I really believe Lush needs to invest on training as well as updating some of their return policies , offering a 50% return value on gifts because you did not return them prior to them going on sale is like stealing 50% of your money. read more

Lush staff need to be knowledgeable and educated . They also need to know how to treat their customers well. Because if you treat us well we always return back to u. Charlie's is the one representative who stands out he is knowledgeable . And people friendly. He always goes beyond the call of duty for his customers. That's why customers return. As a pre school teacher looking in you know among the staff who is approachable and who is not. You know who comes with a warning sign and who u want to go to. Lush is a great place to find ways to pamper yourself . But also should be a place where the staff should be knowledgeable.And understanding that skin types are not all going to be the same but different. Let's cut to the point...if you don't use Lush then start in 2019. New year, new amazing skin and hair goals. I have lost count on how many years I have been a loyal Lush customer but the products are so good and so fresh. I have my go-to/favorites: Shower: body butters are buffy and scrubee Soap: olive tree and honey I washed the kids. I am a soap type of gal so I havent bought any shower gels but will try this year. Bath bombs: I personally dont buy them but have received them as gifts and I approve! Shampoo bars: godiva (favorite), montablo and a few others I am forgetting the names right now. I am currently sampling avocado co-wash, curly wurly and fairly-traded honey (1 week with each product as a test run) since I find the shampoo bars too aggressive for every shower use. Conditioners: not a fan of the solids but will try a cream perhaps this year Hot oil treatments: Damaged is a 5/5 Masks: Mask of magnaminty is a 5/5. I only use fresh face masks when I turn in my recycles. Body lotions: Sleepy, dream cream (currently using now), sympathy for the skin (was my 2018 choice). Please keep in mind, it took a while to find out what I liked and worked well with my body. I have Middle Eastern skin and not all soaps were my jam. I am still figuring out which shampoo will revive my curls and not weigh down my hair or make it oily after a day. 2018 was full of experiments on what I like, what I can try sometimes and what I dont like for my skin and hair. read more
