The happiest place in the mall! Everyone at this location is so kind and helpful and the products are wonderful. I find something new every time I come. The Kalamazoo face wash CANNOT be beaten. I hate going to the mall, but Lush makes it so much better. read more

I love Lush. I've shopped with the brand for many years. I recently moved to California from Chicago where I frequented the store often. I'm the second review so maybe people in the area don't shop here. The products are all natural and handmade. The fresh face masks are great, but must be refrigerated because of their natural ingredients. Your face won't fall off if you don't but the product can go bad. If you return 5 empty pots (recycling program) you get a free mask. I also love the Ocean Salt scrub. Very necessary for so many reasons. Go in and let them demonstrate it on your skin and sure you'll love it. I popped in today to get a small Ocean Salt and a mask for my trip to Mexico in the morning. They gave me a small sample of a moisturizer called "Gorgeous" that I'm sure I'll fall in love with. Give Lush at the Galleria a try if you haven't yet, you'll love it! read more

The people here were REALLY overbearing. I couldn't ask a quick question without them talking to me for a whole 10 minutes. After walking into the store the greeting was really long and I felt like I couldn't get away to actually look at anything. I felt like all of my energy had been drained upon leaving. Very overwhelming read more

Taylor was really helpful and knowledgeable with all the products. We appreciate her help she was amazing.

Absolutely had such a special experience today! Maria is the only name I can remember (and she is absolutely amazing) and every single person who worked in that store today was super nice and helpful. My sister and I first walked in and Maria greeted us and we immediately just had a great fun unique experience with her. Then we walked around and got completely spoiled by the entire staff. We ended up leaving because it was just one of our first stores for the day but we had to go back because we knew we wanted at least 2 of the products they showed us earlier. So we walked in and again another women from earlier recognized us and so sweetly greeted us and helped me find a good face mask and lotion for my skin type. I ended up getting both those products and my sister got 3 more. My sister even got me a gift which she gave me later and told me Maria was able to grab it and put it in the bag and my sister paid for it without me noticing. Every single person there made my sister and I feel so special and we appreciate such acts of kindness especially during this difficult time in the world You all truly make a difference (for our skin and our hearts), we see you, and we appreciate you! read more

I always wonder what's in this unique beauty store! I didn't buy anything but they gave me a sample of herbalism and ultrabland! At first I was hesitant of using it, it looks weird but I went Lushusa.com and followed the instructions, I'm very impress of just one time use it made a huge difference on my face! I can't go to the Glendale Galleria without stopping by Lush for a treat. It's like my reward for being good and taking care of my heinous errands. The staff here is very sweet and not overbearing. I'm never given the stink eye for only picking up one bath bomb (I know how much this actually annoys the sales team because I used to work at Lush!) or given an inordinate amount of attention because I'm picking up a bunch of stuff. They walk the line of pleasant and helpful really well, I'm very impressed. If you have a minor skin issue, come here and ask for help. I was recovering from hives and I was sent home with a bunch of goodies to help soothe my skin, from bath products to lotions. If you haven't been in a store in a while, they'll gladly point out all of their new products. If you like the scent of something, they can quickly show you all of their products that share it. If you just want to poke around and be left alone, they can read your vibe and give you space. The store is a nice size, and even though I hate the mall, the free parking is convenient. All of their vegan products are labeled with a V so you don't have to scan the ingredients on every bottle. read more

Easily one of the most positive experiences I've had while shopping, on Black Friday no less. I was greeted immediately and their expertise in their products was 100% evident. They worked with us on the perfect gift for a teenage girl and gave us a lot of great options. We left satisfied with our purchase but I had actually forgotten my wallet on the counter. Almost immediately, we received an email from Benji and we rushed back. They asked me specific questions to make sure it was me, I'm very appreciative of their thoroughness. A great experience from a very attentive and polite staff. I would come here any day of the week. read more

I love shopping at Lush but this was my first time at the Glendale location. Had to wait forever to ask a question about a product. I was purchasing a couple face masks and shampoos but wanted two samples and the amount they give is a joke. I understand it's a sample but wow at least give enough so we could actually sample it. The employees here are usually really friendly and go out of their way to help you, but today was not the case. Ever since they opened up a bigger store, they've had more employees... Except they're usually standing around. This didn't bother me as much previous times since someone would still help me out. Today there were so many standing around and a couple of customers not being helped including myself. Instead while I was trying to pick out a hand lotion, I was pushed aside by one employee twice. When I went to purchase the hand lotion, no one standing around seemed to bother until someone came out of the back. read more

I was stressed out because an item was out of stock and was discontinued. And I had forgotten to pick up my order of that item in 4 days not knowing a peice of the gift set had been doscontinued and so therefore no more gift sets, so the order got canceled. I went to the store after calling. Everyone was so very gracious. They de-escalated the situation with their coolness. I got the item I needed without any problems. The people there were very pleasant despite my bad attitude. I will always go here. Thank you guys for making my day and my wife's Christmas and for being consummate professionals the whole time. My Lush reviews are pretty much the same. I LOVE Lush products but I think the staff is overkill. Hound, hound, hound, up-sell, up-sell, up-sell. It really is so old and annoying after awhile. I'm not by any means a regular at this location but if I walk in a make a b-line straight to a specific product wouldn't you think that I know my Lush stuff? Another thing I can not stand is that ALL locations (at least the 3 I frequent) are always out of the Love Lettuce face mask. The guy that helped me at this location proceed to say that they usually sell out 2 days after their stock arrives. Heeeellooo!!! Knock knock. Is anyone in there? Come on Lush is it really that hard for you to figure out that maybe you should up your Love Lettuce pars for ALL locations. A "HOLLA" to Amy B. as she told me about the 9 to 5 makeup remover and let me tell you this product is awesome! It is a lotion that you rub in and wipe off with a towel. No water needed. Crazy sounding I know. I have no clue how it works but it does and my skin feels great. Love Lush Up-selling staff at ALL locations needs to stop Sold out of Love Lettuce always BLOWS! Hot damn they win and I will forever return ****Week Later UPDATE***** Shipment of Masks arrive on Thursdays! At all Lush locations. This location says they sell out by Saturday. Which is still lame but hey at least you know. Nate helped me today and he was AWESOME! NO hounding and NO up-selling. Just compliments galore that I picked good products to buy. Nate-- I heart you and I might just drive out to Glendale from now on for my Lushness bc of YOU! read more

I've been to Lush at the Glendale Galleria, in Beverly Hills, at the Third Street Promenade, and at the Universal City walk. Instead of writing 4 reviews on the same franchise, I'll just write one efficient one. Consider this representative to my experiences at all locations. Layouts and store size doesn't affect my review. They gots what I needs... and it's good enough for me. Customer service doesn't matter to me either (although I must note, that all employees are attentive, informative, and helpful... NOT pushy). The products are the stuffs that makes me come back. They lure me in, get me hooked, and now I get the shakes when I go through withdrawal. What I like best are their haircare products... especially their solid shampoos. Shaped like hockey pucks, these lil gems last you for months and help the environment by being sold package free. I keep karma koomba, seanik, and squeaky clean in constant rotation. When I feel like treating myself to something special, I get the facial masks. I like to use A Crash Course in Skincare daily as a nice pick me up after work, school, or a hard work out. The fact that it's made out of avocado, lemongrass, yogurt, and other ingredients that makes me wonder if it could be used as a mask and a dip. I have used the bath bombs, but I love the bubble bars more. Karma provides a nice mild citrus spice to the water. Pop in the Bath leaves me smelling so sweet and scrumptious I develop the urge to nibble on myself. The Comforter is berry-riffic and contains the highest concentration of bubbles per square inch. Also: who doesn't love making bubble animals in their tub? I'd sample more products, but my current situation prevents me from doing so. I blame it on the economy. If I wasn't so po' I'd buy one of everything. read more

I've been to this Lush location a couple times while at the Glendale Galleria, and compared to other Lush's, i feel the sales people here are a lot more pushy and overall rude. The store is pretty small, so it can get really overwhelming, especially on a weekend. You can't really take your time to smell everything, cause someone is always bumping into you. And the employee's are always following you, recommending a certain product, etc. If I had any questions, or was curious about a product, i'll let you know ok? The samples on display were disgusting, don't even go near the water bowls, i doubt they change the water after demo's. No matter how much money i've spent here, the cashiers are very stingy about giving samples. Never offer me one, always have to ask. And every time i do end up liking a product, it's always discontinued. Not this location's fault, but what's up with that Lush? I think Lush in general is all hype, not one of their products have lived up to what i've expected. All in all, avoid this location at all costs. read more

I want to love Lush. I really do. I usually stop by The Body Shop and Bath & Body Works (which are all next to each other). I'm always curious on their skincare products because of the raves they've gotten online. Why ONE STAR? It's not the products, but customer service. Everytime I come here, I want to browse around and get informative about their product (it's quite foreign really). However, everytime I come here, it's either no staff is helpful or I get pushed to buy stuff. The last time I came here, I wanted a sample of one of their face lotion (recommended by Holly on YT) and jelly soap, but she gave me a bunch of excuses. I did come a few months before that and the staff left me alone on the floor and practically never came back. I'm not surprised as most of the employees are 20+. I'm not saying all employees in their 20s are bad (because I've met some that are STELLER!), but some are "show the money or leave" type. That's the type that works here. I wanted a sample. I couldn't justify buying a small pot of face lotion for ~$20. for it to be thrown away because I might be sensitive to the product. (I have sensitive skin, so a lot of products makes me react in a bad, itchy way) I did however get a sample of a body butter or lotion that smelled like lemons (i think it was Angel... something). It was too greasy for me. The thing is, the staff told me it was for my face, which broke me out. I was later told that it was body butter/lotion the last time I came. The last time I came here, I was PUSHED to buy stuff. So I ended up buying some Vit C tablets just so I could get out of the store. Horrible. Which is why I'm never coming back. I don't think I'll try Lush unless I go to a new location or my friend/s wants to go. I'm surprised on YT people are saying Lush is generous with samples because they aren't. I have better luck at The Body Shop and Sephora! If you're not buying, they want to throw you out like a dog. read more

I've just purchased two valentines gift box from the shop at glendale. I'm planning on giving those gift box to two close friends, so I asked to have another paper bag. I'd been rejected. Seriously? The only male staff said that each person can only have one bag, and if i want i can by the reusable bag. I'd asked him twice and still got the same answer. My husband was standing behind me, if it weren't because the store was closing, i would just seperate my merchandise and ask my husband to pay for the other one. Then it will be two customers and two paper bags! Is this really necessary?? I understand if you want to save bags to reduce your cost. Wouldn't you want your products to be in display with your own bags rather than other bags? I'm very upset with this incidence. read more

I had to write a review about how wonderful the employee that helped us today was. Michael welcomed us into the store with a bright smile and couldn't have been more knowledgeable about every Lush product we tested out. He helped us pick out the right products for our skin care needs, demonstrated many products, and was there for us from the moment we walked in until we were ready to pay. I know how exhausting and chaotic it is to work around the holidays and I just want to thank him for his patience and professionalism. I'm very happy with the products I bought as a gift for friends and can't wait to come back for more :) read more

I cannot wait to go back! I went on (2-27-15) & was attended by the sweetest lush employee! Her name was Nicole. When I got there she greeted me and attended me for over an hour. She answered ALL of my questions, did product demonstrations, give advice on their products and how they worked for people with oily skin (my skin type). What I loved most is that she didn't even try to sell me products I didn't need; she stuck to those I NEEDED and wanted. She genuinely cared for my skin and did a BEAUTIFUL job at explaining what each product does to my face and body. She also gave me samples, wrote a detailed skin routine based on the products I purchased, and was MEGA SWEET! Nicole, you are the best LUSH employee! P.S.- They have everything there! All the products you find online, you WILL find in store! They have all sizes and everything you can possibly think of. I shall be going back! read more

1/31/2012, Tuesday, approx 7:30 p.m. The five stars are for staff member Ricky, who loves the brand, loves the customers, and just plain loves life. I'm familiar with the Pasadena store, but had never been to this store. It's smaller, but still jam packed with all the delicious scents and products you expect from Lush. It had been a loooong day and I needed a treat in, sadly, the $10 range. Ricky couldn't have been less judgemental and more helpful....he led me to my fave Flying Fox and even tucked a special treat into my bag. I got home and with the help of Ricky & Lush, the stress just melted away. Ricky, you rock. Hard. {Lush management: don't let him get away...he'll take your business far.} read more

Products that are cruelty free, natural AND that work. Could you possibly want anything more? No. The answer is no. This is the Lush that I go to and since I've started using this brand I have always received excellent customer service. The staff is very knowledgeable about the products and are happy to give you a demonstration and samples! I've never felt pressured into buying items that I later regret. Their return policy is great. I've returned products with no issues. Lush is amazing and this location is worth visiting whether you're already a Lushie or a new customer. They'll take care of you here! read more

Location - seems small but actually pretty nice nook. easy to get to and would definately try again and more often if they had staff to match. Products - i want to like this company but i can't get the service needed to make more informed choices about what is right for my skin type. I have to be careful due to skin sensitivity. Staff - 2 were there. 1 pretty Dark haired - light caramel skin gal who seemed to have alot of experience (but was with other customers most of my visit so I got stuck with the other one) 1 white girl with no idea of what the store sells i guess who was my staffer who was available to supposedly help me. My staffer gal did not ask questions much, when i told her my skin types she would direct me to products specifically made for opposite my type (i have dry sensistive skin - she directed me to acne wash and toner for oily skin... i mean really?) My staffer seemed to use a scripted formula for sales - "find product ; tell client product is for what skin type ; tell client that you use or relate to product because of (insert life situation here)"" This girl ended up being oily skinned, sensitive skinned, Combo skinned, going to college at night to be a physicians Aid so she totally needed eye cream too in order to look fresh for the day and completely convinced that both showers and baths are her favorite - not one or the other. She couldn't keep her (insert life situation here) straight and later it made me and my hubby laugh. Briefly while my staffer was away finding testers of stuff for me I siezed my opportunity to ask the other gal about stuff. She gave me some real advice, suggestions, and info before my staffer got back. I appreciated the More experienced Pretty black haired girl because she was not a skinny bimbo you can find in most cosmetic stores. I'm a bigger gal and She made me feel great about buying Lush products... so based on her brief chat time I walked out with $80 bucks of stuff. The inexperienced staffer rang me up and I got zero free samples. I was told that this company always gives samples in the bag. I was pouty when i left with my hubby. read more

Thank you Jessica!! You were wonderful! Cute place, smells great, nice selection. Keep it up you guys.

This is a review of the Glendale Galleria Lush store, not the product. I buy Lush products throughout the year as gifts for friends and, as I live in the Glendale area, this store location is very convenient for me. However, every time I go there, I feel accosted by salespeople. I generally know what I want to purchase before going in as I know the majority of the products fairly well at this point. (I've been frequenting Lush stores since 1998 when they opened one of their first Los Angeles locations in Santa Monica on Main Street.) But the salespeople at the Glendale Galleria are relentless. As soon as I decline assistance by one, 10 seconds later I get approached by a second attendant. Last time I was there, I was approached by 4 salespeople in less than 2 minutes -- literally. I am not exaggerating. Not to mentioned the fact that 2 of those 4 salespeople then re-approached me a second and third time!!!! I understand it's the salespeople's jobs to familiarize customers with their products. But this kind of experience is absurd. (Did I mention the size of the store is just slightly larger than a walk-in closet?) I absolutely make no bones about the fact that I do not care for assistance every time I go in and yet I am still hounded. Next time I go I'm gonna wear earplugs and pretend I'm deaf. read more

Wow if I could give zero stars for this place, I would. I usually do my lush shopping here on a monthly basis and after today, I will never return. I just spent $150 in this store today, and I never ever ask for samples! Never! Today I wanted to sample the famous gorgeous moisturizer. After spending that much money, one of the girls working there gave me the smallest dollop of this stuff. It is so small that it might have been a mistake squirt for goodness sake! I understand you don't need to use too much of this product, but come on now...this is just too much..or in this case, too little. Thank you for the customer service. I'll take mine elsewhere. read more
