    To Whom It May Concern at MAC Cosmetics, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I recently received at your Arcadia, CA location (400 S Baldwin Avenue, Suite 352). As a long-time and loyal customer of MAC Cosmetics, I feel compelled to bring to your attention an experience that fell far below the standard of professionalism and customer service I have come to expect from your brand. Throughout the years, MAC Cosmetics has been synonymous with quality and excellence for me. I have visited MAC stores across different locations, including international ones like Paris and Mexico, and have always had positive experiences. Unfortunately, my recent encounter at the Arcadia store was disheartening. I had booked a 15-minute Holiday Glam appointment online and arrived at the store well before my scheduled time. However, from the moment I entered, I was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere. There was a lack of greeting, and I sensed an almost disdainful look from the staff, particularly the makeup artist assigned to my appointment. I understand the importance of respecting the time of makeup artists, and I appreciate their need to efficiently manage appointments. However, the attitude at this particular store was far from the professionalism I've encountered elsewhere. The makeup artist, without any warm greeting, quickly informed me that this was not a makeup session but merely a 15-minute courtesy appointment. I assured her that I was aware of the nature of the appointment but had expected a bit of the Holiday Glam touch, given the specific booking. Instead of addressing my concerns, she curtly suggested that the manager would explain the process to me. When the manager arrived, she politely inquired about the key features I wanted to focus on. I specified my preferences for skin and eyebrows, to which she agreed. However, the makeup artist continued the service with complete silence, not providing any information about the products or the process. It left me feeling uncomfortable and unappreciated as a customer. At one point, when the makeup artist left to showcase holiday promotional products, her demeanor suddenly changed to friendliness with another customer. I found this inconsistency in customer treatment troubling. In the end, I had to complete parts of the makeup application myself, using my own products, as there was a lack of communication and engagement from the makeup artist. Not a single word was exchanged during the process, and even as I left the store, there was no acknowledgment from either the makeup artist or the manager. This experience has left me questioning the commitment to customer service at this specific MAC Cosmetics location. I hope my feedback can contribute to improvements in the professionalism and customer engagement at the Arcadia store. As a loyal MAC customer, I took my business to the Glendale Galleria MAC Cosmetics store (2117) afterward, where I received the exceptional service I have come to expect from your brand. I urge you to address the issues at the Arcadia store to ensure that other customers do not have to endure a similar disappointing experience. Glendale is a great place to get your Mac Cosmetics.     I had such a terrible time there during my pickup for my online order. Such a terrible experience. I placed an order online for pick up. Upon arriving, I gave them my order number, they were two separate orders. She bought me one bag saying that it was actually returned and I have to re-purchase the all 4 of the items. She asked for my ID and my card and when she came back she told me that she gave me 10% off. I told her that when I placed the order it was for 30% off, she told me at least she gave me 10% off. I walked away frustrated, called their customer service and to confirm that my order were canceled. She confirm that one of my orders were actually delivered today at my home at 12:45 PM and the other one is still ready to be picked up. So I re-purchase four items on top of the ones I ordered online. I tried to return the items to the Mac where I am at and I was told that I could not return it because she gave me that lame 10% off discount. Had to drive to the original store again and explain this whole dilemma. I was so frustrated and lied to. I feel as though that she just wanted to get the sale, aren't I right? There was no need for me to purchase any products again plus 10% off and make my items non-returnable. This is despicable!

    Karen!!!! My Love. I just wanna say that your a great Friend Love You!!! People who are reading this If you go to Glendale M.A.C Visit my GIRL Karen. She is not only the Manager but she does make-up for TV shows, and any other occasion. FUNN!!! One of the Best . Cant wait to hang out and go shopping!

    Recently was invited to an event by MAC to come and get first peek at the new M*A*C x Nikki Minaj line that came out. Wasn't certain on what to expect other than testing some of Nikki's Nudes.....but I left beyond pleased! We did have some wait time....not much (working with customers) ....but all the employees acknowledged us and as soon as they became available we're hands down AWESOME! Marissa got me set up with a few other gals and even came over to make sure I was flawless when I left! Walked out with Nikki's N*U*D*E and kept getting major compliments on my lips! Even went back to get the same shade for my coworker! Second major Event experienced at this store and it's always been GREAT service......positive ENERGY and I don't think I'll be going to another MAC store!

    Great mall in the Glendale area. Lots of shops and restaurants. If you want to get your steps in this is the place. Lol.

She did an incredible job on me, my bridesmaids, my mother, and even my (now!) husband. Christy also put together the sweetest touch-up kit and gift, which was such a thoughtful surprise. And the makeup itself was phenomenal. I cried multiple times throughout the day, and somehow everything stayed perfectly in place. The only thing I had to do was blot my forehead once. The rest was completely bulletproof. If you're looking for a talented artist who delivers beautiful, long-lasting makeup while also bringing a wonderful presence to your wedding day, I can't recommend Christy and her team highly enough.

It was incredibly important to me to find an artist who understood how to enhance Asian features. She came highly recommended by my wedding planner and a friend, and her team seamlessly handles larger bridal parties. I had also seen her in action at a friend's wedding before mine. Even then, I remember being so impressed by how attentive, thoughtful, and kind she was, consistently going above and beyond to support the bride. Going into the process, I was really nervous because the most I ever do is curl my lashes and wear mascara. During the trial, Christy asked me if I had any concerns, and I was completely honest. Because I don't usually wear makeup, I was terrified that a bridal look would feel heavy and cakey. Christy was so reassuring. She looked at my skin and told me that I didn't need heavy full coverage, and instead gave me a gorgeous, soft-glam look with light-to-medium coverage. I appreciated this so much because her application felt completely comfortable all day. Even with the lighter coverage, I was honestly a bit thrown off right after the trial simply because I wasn't used to seeing any makeup on my face. On my drive to the shoot, I remember looking in the mirror and analyzing how my skin texture looked compared to when I don't wear makeup. Every little texture detail felt a bit more prominent to me at first, even though everyone else thought it looked amazing. But once the photo shoot started, my biggest struggle was remembering not to touch my face! My natural reflex was to scratch or brush away stray hairs that touched my face, and I caught myself doing it quite a few times. By the time the shoot was over, though, I realized I was getting used to leaving my face alone and seeing myself with makeup on. The texture didn't feel prominent anymore, and I could finally see what everyone else was seeing. I am so glad I did the trial for that reason, it completely normalized everything for me. By the time the wedding day arrived, I looked in the mirror and just thought it looked absolutely amazing! Since I never wear makeup, it was just an incredible feeling to look at all of our photos and genuinely feel so pretty. Our wedding day had a lot of moving parts and traveling. I had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the morning and a Western ceremony later. I had bought specific hair accessories for the tea ceremony that worked best with a bun, but since I don't love buns, I really wanted a half-up, half-down look for the Western ceremony. Christy happily changed my hairstyle between ceremonies so I could have both looks. She was so organized and made sure we had plenty of time for the change and touch-ups. I had also warned her ahead of time that I cry a lot, and I definitely teared up a ton, but despite the summer heat and the tears, absolutely nothing smudged all night. I booked her concierge package, which was worth every penny. We started incredibly early, and Christy stayed with us to make sure everything was perfect. Since our venue was on a rooftop, it was quite windy that day. Christy noticed that my veil's comb was a bit shallower than usual and was worried it might get blown away. Instead of leaving just because her contracted hours were up, she stayed extra time to ensure my veil was completely secure with extra bobby pins so it wouldn't slip during the ceremony. Christy made me feel so beautiful and made the whole process incredibly easy. I cannot recommend her enough!
