I work mon-fri and and can't always drive right after work to make a hair apt. Weekends are a hot commodity and it been incredibly hard for me to book with other salons in LA. My usual treatment is a root touch up with an occasional cut (twice a year) so nothing too fancy but often salons drastically overcharge. INCREDIBLE experience. I came in a tad last minute and let's be honest, in desperation to redo my hair because I was gonna have dinner with my boyfriend's parents the following night. Love coming here. Everyone is so nice. I'm afraid to post how great Meri for hair is and Yeran for makeup because they might be booked when I want to go. Lol. Meri is great, she literally won't let me leave unless I'm happy with my hair and I'm always happy. Great, cut and color and especially her blow outs and updos. Always perfect and lasts all night. I don't think I've ever had makeup done like this before. I got home after midnight and dancing all night and everything stayed in place as if she just put it on, even the eyelashes and lip color. I found my salon on Yelp and saw they had good reviews. I called and was able to get a same day appointment which was great. I showed up to my appointment and they were super busy but that's to be expected of a Saturday in a salon, especially when they were nice enough to squeeze me in last minute. Voski or "Vicki" was my hairstylist, she spoke little English but that wasn't a big deal. I showed her a few pictures of similar but slightly different cuts I liked and told her to do something along those lines. She did a dry cut, my hair was already cleaned and I toned it at home prior. She was very quick but her cutting methodology was professional. She gave me some choppy layers, a mini fringe and took off some length. I really ended up liking the cut, I went in for a clean up and came out with a style Also she gave me a blowout which was so luxurious. Price was reasonable as well! She's very professional, fast and kind. The pricing is really reasonable. You can park near the building - at the parking lot. The first 90 minutes is free. So it's almost always free for me. So I tend to be a creature of habit and don't often like "change", but with that being said, when my hair stylist Edmond told me he was moving to My Salon I was open minded. As a man, sometimes less is more and we often like to be in a comfortable environment when walking into a hair salon and I was pleasantly surprised when I got my first cut at My Salon. First and foremost, the salon just went through a pretty intense and impressive recent remodel. Everything is new, extremely clean(I mean it!), and super modern. Besides the fact that the location is large and bright because of all the sun it gets through its large floor to ceiling windows, it also offered tons of amenities that make it a great place to get your hair done. Parking in the Maryland parking across the street is an absolute breeze and it's 90 mins free (no need to even validate). So once you're in your desired hair stylist's seat (BTW- if you're a male, I can't recommend Edmond enough!) you can sit back and relax knowing that the salon only carried and uses the highest end products and treatments. You'll be promptly be offered a COMPLIMENTARY beverage of your choice...oh I didn't mention that they had an actual bar INSIDE the salon? Yup that means free Champaign, wines, coffee, sparkling water, etc. On special occasions they actually have a bartender making martinis and other mixed drinks- again completely complimentary. They seem to always have a bunch of free chocolates and desserts for those who have a sweet tooth. I've never went up to the second floor but they have a full level of make up and hair up there for the ladies as well. In short, it's a super friendly, convenient, extremely clean, professional salon with a ton of perks that you won't find at other salons. Try it and you won't be disappointed! Five star! read more

I was having such a crappy day and no salon was open long enough after I ended work at 5. But I found THIS hair salon and immediately they accepted my request to go from black to blonde. They couldn't guarantee that I will get to blonde in one seating but they definitely tried their best. Paytsar did my hair for 3 hours until past closing time just to finish my hair. The service was the best service I received at a hair salon. I was afraid I would be mistreated because I was not the same race and that we had a language barrier but no!
