I totally enjoy The Edge at Lulu's. The owners are great people. The food is very good and the staff very friendly. They also have great music, bands on Friday/Saturday. The bartenders were great, the owner on the other hand was horrible! my girlfriend and I went in Friday night at 5 PM, had two drinks each and then we're gonna have dinner with our other two girlfriends who are arriving at six. The owner wanted to charge them a $10 cover fee even though we were there two hours before the band. The owner decides we can stay, but if we're not gone by 17, she will and I quote " she will track us down(at our table) and make us pay the $10 cover fee." I wanted to love this place but so disappointed. Went with a few friends to see the band. They charged $10 to get in. The place was packed so it was a good sign. Then it got too packed I'm sure it was in violation of fire code. It took forever to get a drink. The bartenders were working hard! They just didn't have enough help. There were tables with people still eating on the dance floor area. They had an area set up with folding tables and chairs which was just strange. The crowd was 50+. Sure enough, pulling into the parking lot I still see a Hurricane sign. Really? Walking inside, it seems Lulu saved some money and left the place decorated as Hurricanes. Is that even legal?? What makes this place is the beer selection. There has to be at least 30 taps. If you want to watch the game and drink a cold one then add a star. Not bad but a bit disappointing. The atmosphere is very much like a hurricanes (the chain). The staff was friendly and the drinks were strong. The price wasn't crazy so that's a plus. I ordered the lobster with wings and fries. Price point was 24 bucks. Very reasonable. The wait for it was a bit long but the lobster was definitely not fresh. For a place with lobster in its name I expected better. It was ok at best. On a positive note they do have a 15 for 30 Groupon. Not sure if I'll be going out of my way for here again. read more

We've been trying to give local businesses a lot of love recently and ordered our food from LuLu's through Door Dash. Everything sounded so good and we had high hopes. We ended up very disappointed. Husband had the Sirloin Steak and said it was "meh". We got two different flavored wings and the only positive was they were big. They tasted nothing like the seasoning they were supposed to be and were quite a bit soggy. I had the lobster roll and I didn't even finish it. It did not taste fresh at all... smelly very fishy and some bites had a terrible mealy mouth feel. I'm glad I didn't end up sick. The house-made chips were ok. Also, none of this can be excused by the fact it was delivered. We've had a lot of success with ordering food through Door Dash... and we do cut restaurants some slack due to not being able to be right there eating it fresh from the kitchen. The poor quality here went way beyond anything explainable due to delivery. The only reason I'm even giving them two stars (and not one) is because the Coconut Cream Pie was fine. This place has a sign posted stating they have the NFL Sunday ticket for you to watch all the games however that's not the case. I went in yesterday expecting to watch a few games that werent the local teams however was told that they have an amazon firestick which is currently occupied by other customers in that if the bar were to change the channel per my request, it would affect the games being seen by other customers. I can safely say this restaurant commits false advertisement and that's why this restaurant should be shut down. read more

Manager's never help out the staff a are never here. Tried to buy my gf a t-shirt and they wouldn't sell them to us. Tried to buy Lobster socks and they had none. Mixed results. First the good. Wings and Lobsters were very very good! Chili, good. Teriyaki bowl? Not good. Had to send it back. Unpalatable. Most of the staff was working their butts off. Our server (a young Sean Penn look alike welp) was less than useless. Took forever to get drinks, food or dishes removed from the table. Love the venue. It's huge. Big area for live music and dancing an outside area and pool table with a big circular bar. I didn't try the food but it looked middle of the road. However they had an awesome deal I think it was 9 bucks for a burger fries and a beer. You can't beat that. Will be back to try some things in the menu read more

When I came to this establishment I had high hopes on a recommendation from a friend. The restaurant bar was packed which is a good sign so my friends and I sat at the bar. Usually at the bar you get quicker beverage service and food service. The bartenders all were extremely friendly and courteous and were quick and efficient with our drinks after 20 minutes the three of us ordered a few appetizers and our dinners. The bartender gave us a heads up that one of the cooks called in so I didn't expect my food coming out within the customary time however I am not in a hurry since I was meeting up with friends. After my second drink which was 45 minutes after ordering our food I asked the bartender when are our appetizers coming out she said soon. About 15 minutes later I saw someone who ordered food after us get his food. Once again I asked the bartender hey where's our food and I was dismissed with in a few minutes. To be fair to the bartenders they were extremely busy serving drinks to everyone who was ordering drinks. Finally I saw the owner behind the bar standing there he passed by us several times and you would figure he would ask how things are like in other food and beverage establishments. I asked the owner if it's ok if I can DoorDash some food since I have been waiting an hour and 15 minutes for our food he asked us what we ordered and said he would be out with it. Another 15 minutes later our food arrived just to bad the burger was over cooked and not the cheese on it that I originally asked for. After nearly waiting an hour and a half I wasn't going to send it back since I was hungry and been drinking the whole time. Nobody followed up when we received our food to ask how it was or to offer us anything else.Also one of the appetizers I ordered didn't arrive with my food which was their overpriced pretzel. When we got our check I noticed we were charged for a pretzel that never came so I asked the bartender to take off the pretzel because it never came with our late food. She disappeared for 10 minutes to get I assume approval to take something off our bill that never came. I was upset that nobody apologized for a unsatisfactory food service. The bartender service on drinks was outstanding, however the follow up on our food was horrible. After receiving my adjusted bill I paid our tab and left Lulu's. I would never comeback to this place if they paid me. I received subpar food after nearly waiting an hour and half and only received attention when I asked if I can DoorDash food here since it would be quicker. Besides receiving subpar food it was overcooked as well so for me it was a waste of money as well. Stop,stop, stop.... as much as I am against corporate franchises the only way this place will make it is if they took it over... the one thing this place has got going is a great bar with lots of tap beers and lobsters for $12.99.. my theory is if something is on the menu , make it awesome!!! I ordered steak sandwich and you should not!! It has 5 small pieces of steak and a huge roll. If you want me to show you how to make a great steak sandwich respond to this.. the waitress had no clue about some of the items and the best was... there is a giant picture in the dining room.. looks tropical or maybe the gulf . When we asked her if that picture had any significance to the restaurant she said she didn't know. When we asked where is that she replied " maybe sayville".. at orientation tell workers about the restaurant... ok back to the bad food.. Mac n cheese had no flavor , just use a box Mac n cheese if it's to hard to make. And now the lobster roll . The majority of the meat is not lobster, maybe scallop or tuna...the Caesar salad lack dressing , croutons and cheese. The chicken was dry too . We ordered another round for the table and paid our check (irrelevant, but I tipped 30% because we were a little annoying with questions and requests). First 2 drinks came, then mine. 10 min later we're still waiting on my husbands drink, so I got up and walked to the bar to ask the bartender for it, figuring end of the night maybe the server was cleaning and forgot.. nope, the bartender is on her phone "oh yeah, we got a little busy, I'm gonna make it now". This was the worst restaurant experience I ever had. There was not just dirt everywhere. Layers of dirt. This restaurant hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Proof, cobwebs. Most chairs were Walmart metal folding chairs. There were some wooden chairs, coming apart. Tables were also folding tables. Problems with the restaurants speakers. Hard to hear band and singers. Black dirty curtains separated the restaurant from the kitchen. Who knows where the kitchen was because after hearing a door open, wind would blow and kids would appear bringing out food. The food was not eat able. Dry, hard boneless chicken wings. Over cooked, small pieces of French fries. Tap beer was watered down. No booze in drinks. There was even an old dusty white Christmas tree in one of the corners. Then when I thought this homeless guy was coming to our table to ask for a handout dressed in all dirty baggy sweats, sneakers, wool cap, cheap coat, hair and beard not trim in over a year he introduced himself as the owner. I'm not sure why this place gets such a bad rep!! I called in a pickup order of one lobster roll with fries, and 5 boneless wings with honey BBQ sauce, and ranch. It was ready when I got there, everyone was so nice, and the food was great! The lobster roll was a bit smaller than I've had elsewhere, but for $15, with fries, I'd rather it be smaller than disgusting lol. And it was pretty overstuffed! I get to the restaurant and im told by the short blond hostess that i have to dine in to use the coupon. I said sorry i wasnt aware. I inquired and a good waiter, a tall young guy with brown hair found my order and helped me out. I dont care how good the food is, i wont go back just becsuse of the host. Here's the Scoop: My honey found a place while scrolling through Groupon that he thought would be good for lunch. Oh boy, it was a great choice. Located on Terry Rd & Sunrise, private parking lot nice size. Outdoor seating and LuLu's stuffed Lobster Teddy greets you in the parking lot at the entrance. You're greeted again in the lobby as you enter by a hostess and guided into the restaurant to a booth table. Full bar in the middle of the bar. Decor is a complete beach theme displaying paddles, buoys, ors, beach signs, life preservers and booth seating resembles wooden picnic tables with butcher block table cloths..The only thing missing was the beach. Entertainment included: Table settings which had crayons at the ready for kids and a holder full of quick pic tickets for adults besides about 12 large screen TVs playing all the sports channels. The menu has many choices that will delight the palate. We chose the lobster roll (mayo base) with sweet potato fries and a side of wings. I mean it is called LuLu's Lobster & Wings how could we not. I don't understand any of these negative reviews. I love the atmosphere of this place and the food & personnel. I love their Chicken Wings especially the Sweet Red Chili Wings. They always make them just the way I like them - Very Crispy. By the way, Mercedes & Delani are great servers & the bartenders are terrific as well.
