I've ordered from here a few times and even if the name isn't a dead giveaway, it is a nice Hispanic deli serving great food at all hour of the day. I've had the steak tacos on a few occasions and they are delicious, fresh, and stacked with steak! Their quesadillas are also tasty filled with choice of protein and fajita veggies. Skip the Salvadoran breakfast I guess he didn't have chorizo or got lazy that day... But do, dooooo stop in to Kevs deli! This is another place that doesn't look like much from the outside and doesn't have much of a presence here on yelp either. So here I am to help you out with the yelp side of life! Like most places you need to explore and see for yourself what's good, but you can be sure this spot is a hidden gem. The guy behind the corner was a super nice guy from what I can tell; he helped me out and had a conversation, he was friendly and seemingly proud of the work he put in to fix up the place from what it was before. This spot is sorta like a mini bodega with hot prepared food and general drug store type supplies n things. They make fresh juices and horchatas, as well as breakfast. It's a good spot and you should try it. I already told you something I didn't find much value in, so let me tell you what I did! The breakfast comes with coffee or juice, get the coffee and skip the OJ from concentrate. There was a tostada sitting there that looked amazing, it had chicken and fresh queso... I was already sold, it was phenomenal and super cheap, like $2-$2.50. Yes please! Sweet plantains we're on point and the eggs were cooked to order. This place is really good specially if you are hispanic, they have a small ammount of grocery to cook at home and the breakfast and lunch is really great. The prices are really good and they treat you like you where at home. The usual customer are Hispanics but everyone is friendly like in here and usually come in groups to eat. The music is latin music too so it's kinda of a feeling back home place to be at. The place is tho a lilttle bit small to move around but with they compensate with service and great tasting food. read more

This is a great little hidden gem for very good Latin food! There are a bunch great things to choose from. I love their pork, it's so tender just pulls apart with tons of flavor. They have great papusa's, I get them with queso or with queso and refried beans together. Their baked chicken with rice is also really good, usually very tender and full of flavor as well. Also the taco's are really good! They do have the basic American deli items as well and the prices are awesome for the homemade quality food! Go in open minded and give the place a try. read more

I've been to this place for breakfast before and it seems that, unless the owner is present, you get a tin full of rice and a gringo surcharge. I just had my son pick up breakfast there FOR THE LAST TIME. The owner wasn't there. We got 2 medium sized tins filled with white rice with approximately 2 tablespoons worth of refried beans (we know how very EXPENSIVE beans are) and a scrambled egg with - I kid you not - HOT DOGS cut up into it. If you don't have sausage please don't substitute hot dogs. Believe it or not, your customers know the difference. We also got a small tin with some fried plantains. They were fine. This came out to $13.00 and they DID NOT offer my son the coffee or juice that is supposed to come with it. To the very nice man who owns this establishment: please STOP hiring your lazy, cheating nieces / female family members. I could never place a phone order in the past when they are there alone because they refuse to, or are unable to, speak English. I've seen them run in the back when they saw the department of health coming to grab gloves and try to get up to code in a hurry. I left before finding out if you got fined but it wasn't looking good for you. To the owner: You are a very nice man and I wish you well but your family is not doing right by you or your customers. read more
